What can I say, other than I am highly delighted with my L lift. The procedure was so simple and didn’t last long. A little discomfort and apart from looking like ET for a week in the neck stocking, the results are amazing. Minimum swelling, bruising soon went and I’m really happy with the results. Thankyou Paul.
Amazing a surgeon who cares about his patients. I’ve had a fleur de lys tummy tuck, upper thigh and arm lift, lipo and a unplanned hernia repair. My results are amazing. I was in the clinic for a wound check but I had an uncomfortable seroma ( side effects of surgery) the staff rang MR Baguley who on hoilday that week, anyway he had just landed at airport and answered his phone, he asked if I could hang on a short time and he came straight from the airport to give me some treatment. 5 stars doesn’t cover it he goes above and beyond. One top class surgeon. I’m so pleased with my results.
What a man!! He changed my life I'm like a different girl. Mr B is so down to earth and honest I had a full tt mr and lipo a year ago best decision of my life, one thing that always sticks with me was Mr B words "I'm a surgeon not a god" well Mr B you are a god. Never had any issues listened to my body and to Mr B I can't wait to go back for my boobs.
I chose Mr Baguley 7 years ago to do my TT/MR it was very straight forward and I had no problems at all, so whennit came to me having my breast done I didn’t give it a second thought I went straight back to see him, he’s has been great throughout, I am 4 weeks P.O. and again no problems whatsoever, lovely surgeon very honest and down to earth, I’m enjoying my new boobies and would highly recommend him to anyone considering surgery... Thank you Mr B for changing my life
I'm having my breast uplift in 3 weeks! Can't believe I'm actually doing it I'm so scared. I have 34DD breasts, I am happy with the size but there just so droopy. I've got my pre op appointment on the 27th of May and my operation date is the 6th of June. I've got my post surgical bra and everything that I need. I'm so scared! I will post some before pictures soon! Updated on 30 May 2016: So I'm starting to get nervous now, I'm so excited though. I've got everything I need for my operation. Just a few things I'm unsure about, I've been told to take arnica tablets a few days before my surgery, my surgery is on Monday so shall I start on Saturday and do I still take them even on the Monday morning before surgery? I really hope I get the result I want, I have a lot of breast tissue so my surgeon said I wouldn't need implants, but I just hope I still get a nice pert shape to them! He said I will have a slightly longer scar around the side as I have a random bit of breast tissue that keeps on going round under my armpit so I'm getting that taken away ( you will see what I mean in the pictures I'm going to post) Updated on 4 Jun 2016: So there's only 1 day left until my operation, I can't wait now. I can't wait to just see them done so I can stop worrying. I hope they are shaped better aswel as lifted! I have started taking my arnica tablets this morning and packed my bag for my stay in hospital so I am pretty much all ready to go! Really hope I get the boobs that I want! I will post pictures of them as soon as I can after my operation. Updated on 7 Jun 2016: So I have just woken up. I've got a bit of pain not much, more of an aching back if anything. Still can't keep food down I just keep throwing it up for some reason. My surgeon said he would take away the bit of breast tissue which was arkward let hanging around the side but he decided to use lipo on it instead so I am very swollen there, it looks much bigger at the moment than it actually did to start with but he said he's took a good amount away and the swelling will reduce. In terms of my boobs, already I can see how perky they are, I havnt had any size taken away, I can't see them because there covered in big plasters but the shape looks good! Updated on 7 Jun 2016: As I said before I had a bit of breast tissue that went right round under my armpit and made me look like I had a roll of fat, I'm putting a close up picture of it on now before and after having lipo on it, even though from the front it looks bigger and very swollen, the roll from the side is actually gone which is good, I'll upload the pictures now and a few more! Updated on 8 Jun 2016: I went back today because one boob was bleeding slightly more than the other and my next appointment isn't until Monday so I wanted to be on the safe side. It was fine and nothing to worry about just bleeding abit, so I got the left boob re-dressed and managed to get a quick picture before they re-dressed it. Hopefully my dressings will be off next week so I can get some proper pictures! Updated on 9 Jun 2016: These god damn bandages! Honestly I will be so happy to have them off, the nurse said I might get them off on Monday so in praying I do or I'll have to wait another week! They are making me so itchy and plus I just want to see my boobs! I have no patience haha I just want them off! It will be the best feeling when they come off! I'll feel much more comfortable! Here is a few pictures, my side bird are still very swollen but my boobs are started to feel slightly softer now, still quite hard though. Updated on 10 Jun 2016: My boobs are starting to soften abit now and feel abit more like boobs instead of rocks haha! They seem to be sitting into place nicely, I'm just dieing to get these bandages off and have a good look at them. Updated on 11 Jun 2016: I'm starting to feel abit more comfortable today, my swelling seems to have gone down quite a bit so I think that has helped. I'm really hoping I get the dressings off Monday so I can have a proper look! I need to get back healthy eating tomorrow because I've ate crap all week feeling sorry for myself haha! Updated on 13 Jun 2016: I'm sooo happy, I got my horrible big plasters off today, the nurse said they were healing really well. I've still got to keep my steri strips on for another week and they've given me gauze pads to put over my incisions whilst I sleep so my bra doesn't rub, but I'm just so happy that the bulky plasters are off and I can finally see my boobs! It's very strange seeing my boobs with such a normal sized nipple and so perky, they don't feel like the same pair! Updated on 15 Jun 2016: I went back today to get my steri strips off, I've still got two strips underneath as it's still bleeding a little bit but everywhere else is free! My sides are still abit swollen from the lipo but hopefully that will go down soon! It's only been a week and a half since my surgery so I'm pleased with how they are healing! Updated on 18 Jun 2016: I'm so so happy with my results up to now, there healing amazingly aswel and I'm finally able to wear tops without them bulging out and my back doesn't ache nomore from carrying bag saggy heavy boobs! I can lay on my back and they actually stay up and I can lay on my side without them both flopping over to that side Hahaa! everything is just much better and I actually feel like a 19 year old now rather than an old woman. I will keep updating this to show how my healing is going. I'm going on holiday next week and I'm unsure if I'm aloud in the pool or not? And also will they hurt when I fly or will I be able? Updated on 28 Jun 2016: I've been on holiday this week, I come back on Friday, my boobs are abit sore because I'm not used to be being so hot and I think when I've been sweating they have been rubbing, but other than that I'm fine, my left breast just underneath won't seem to dry up so I have a little dressing on still but everywhere else is healing great. Updated on 15 Jul 2016: I've been back off my holiday a week now, as much as I tried my best to keep my boobs clean on holiday, they got infected. Which was my own fault because it wasn't the best of ideas to be going on holiday so I only have my self to blame. My nipples are nearly completely healed and are looking amazing, it's the underneath incision that was a bit infected, hence the bandages still on in the pictures. But today is my last day of antibiotics and there clearing up really well. I still can't quite get over that I have perky boobs that stay upright without a bra and nipples that arnt huge! I could literally kiss my surgeon he's amazing. Updated on 24 Jul 2016: antibiotics did there job and cleared my incisions up. There now fine. I'm starting to use bio oil to massage over my scars, does it work? I've never used it before. I go to see Mr Baguley on Friday so I'm looking forward to seeing him. Updated on 6 Dec 2016: It's been six months now and they are looking great! Updated on 2 May 2017: Just thought I would do a quick update. Ive never looked back since having my surgery, best thing I did. I will add some pictures so you can see how they've healed.
I had the L lift which unfortunately did not work as it should have. Jowls are still the same, if not worse. After the procedure with the swelling it looked good but once the swelling decreased the jowels returned to normal, however, Dr. Paul Baguley is fantastic at putting you at your ease, during the procedure. A very caring Specialist and cosmetic Surgeon.
I had a thigh lift in October 2018. The first week the stitches at the top of my right leg gave way and I had a six inch quite deep open wound. Mr Baguley decided to have this dressed daily and let it heal naturally which it did by January 2019. After the swelling went down following the thigh lift, I could see I was still left with a substantial amount of excess skin which was not smooth and continues to 'wobble' when I walk. After a number of discussions and trying vurju laser, Mr Baguley is adamant that he will not do any further revisions due to risk of lympedema. I am still left with a lot of excess skin, fat pockets and dog ears and I am very disappointed with the result.
I visited mr baugley for implant replacement. I booked in for surgery 2 weeks after my initial appointment where I was advised to try and stop smoking. On the day of my procedure I attended the hospital, had relevant bloods taken, was again examined by dr baugley & told I would be taken down for surgery between 11-12 o’clock. About 10.30am dr baugley came to see me & told me that he would be cancelling the surgery as I had failed to stop smoking for the required 4 weeks & he would book me in for 4 weeks time. I obviously declined as I had not had 4 weeks in which to stop smoking from my initial appointment & had never received this information in writing. I also never received a ‘welcome’ pack, something that I have since been advised I should have received prior to surgery and the most important point is that it is not in his terms & conditions that I had to stop smoking. Yes it would be the best option to stop smoking, but it is advisory & not part of the contractual agreement. Dr baugley was extremely annoyed & in my opinion totally unprofessional & could have told me at the initial appointment that 2 weeks wasn’t long enough & I had to wait ‘his’ required 4 weeks but he didn’t. He could have told me when he examined me in the morning, but he didn’t. He chose to wait till my husband who is of African decent turned up. He made us both feel very uncomfortable & extremely confused as to why he had suddenly changed his mind about the surgery when he obviously knew all along that I did not have time to stop smoking for 4 weeks between the initial consultation & day of surgery. Very very disappointed, distressed & left out of pocket by this whole experience
I made my choice of surgeon based on a recommendation by a friend - the only person I know to have had this surgery. In my world people don't have plastic surgery so I don't know whether I would be going ahead if I hadn't found this forum and read all the inspirational stories. Therefore I am writing mine. I have never photographed my [RS bleep] before and uploaded the picture to the Internet! Life is far too short to feel bad about a part of your body, so [RS bleep] it! I can't really afford this; I'm not glamorous and I'm getting on a bit. But what the hell! I'm going to hit 50 with decent [RS bleep]. Updated on 18 Jul 2017: I'm actually one day post-partum. Had a rough time with nausea afterwards. Other than that I'm feeling OK and in a very good mood. Boobs are tender, strapped up in the most awful bra, which feels like it's made of iron, but they look gorgeous. Lovely and round. Not like my previous dangling bananas. They are covered in permanent marker from my surgeon which extends high up - don't know what clothes I'll wear until it rubs off. Anyway, delighted to have made it to the other side. Updated on 18 Jul 2017: Post-surgery
I am currently 17 days after operation and have been more or less pain free. I have swelling and very bruised, stomach feels numb. My belly button looks slightly inflamed so have been told to keep an eye on it. Relieved I can have daily showers now, thank god. Mood is up and down I can get have down days but fine again the next. Just taking one day at a time. Updated on 10 Feb 2017: I'm almost at the 4 week stage and have been virtually pain free, I've got the hard swelling now but all seems to healing really well. Just done a side by side pic and that makes you realise just how much it was worthwhile.
I don't know what your body size and composition is. I use a sizing system from Allergan use. It's silicone sizers that fit into a bra. Then you can see for yourself what you like. It also helps me decide what size you like. It's about exiectations. And together we can decide what is best. It's not foolproof but helps. Looking at you I would think not a high profile round, but a moderate profile round or a Allergan MF Volume ? Around mid to high 300s not 400 tho
unfortunately it happens! when it does I always say the first thing is to not panic (easy to say I know!). there is nothing that you can do now other than to wash and keep it clean. I believe in soap and water. its great for wounds of all kinds. Try Johnson baby shampoo as it doesn't sting the eyes. it will heal, but you may need a small revision. I note a previous answer suggested steroid injection? I dont routinely unless the scar is keloid as the fat can be affected and you could end up with a pale dressed scar here. Im sure it will do well
it is bizarre how the human body works most times. Any surgery can and often does affect sensation. the nipples can be under sensitive or over sensitive. You can even have one under and one over sensitive! most common is the over sensation. I usually recommend gentle massage of the nipple area with a cream such as cocoa butter or bio oil - but please make sure that you are not sensitive or allergic to the cream before using it. try rubbing a little on the inside of your forearm for a couple of days to see first
