so happy with my results - confidence is back

I had been wanting to get nipple reconstruction done on my left breast for around 6 years. My nipple naturally appeared in a three-leaf clover shape (versus a circle) and had a cleft in the center. The appearance of my left side, and the fact that my left side didn't match my "perfect" right side, made me feel insecure. I knew I always wanted to get this corrected. After an extensive amount of research both online and through TikTok, I knew I needed to go to Rowe Plastic Surgery. I had a gut feeling that I could trust their professionalism and expertise. I didn't look anywhere else. It was also a bonus their office was convenient for me living on the Upper East Side. In my first consultation, I was introduced to Dr. Schneider and immediately knew I had made the right decision and that I was going to be in very good hands. She was kind, patient, reassuring, and understanding from the very beginning and throughout the entire process. For the actual procedure, we first started with a surgical piercing to lessen the deeper cleft of the nipple. I had the nipple piercing in for a total of 6 months. Once the nipple piercing was removed, we let the scar tissue heal for a month and then decided to do further reconstruction - lessen the three-leaf clover shape and reconstruct the nipple into a circle to match my right side. The results of this surgery were practically immediate. I had stitches, of course, but could tell right away how much my left side matched my right. I was so excited. I no longer feel insecure about what-was an imperfection, and no longer have to worry about my nipples not matching. I'm very happy with the results and feel more confident than ever. I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Schneider and the entire staff. Dr. Schneider genuinely cares about her patients and the gravity of what her profession and craft does to change the lives of others. I also want to give a shoutout to Brooke, Lily, and Daniela.
