58 Yr Old Nana, beginning Invisalign

Yes 58. I got full Metal braces at the age of 28 and wore them for 2 years. Loved how they looked. Over the years I have some shifting and gaps. I started invisible treatment 10 yrs ago with dentist I was working for, did not continue due to leaving job. I now have insurance and am begining treatment again. I know my teeth will move much slower at my age. I will document my journey along the way. Updated on 11 Feb 2016: I am beginning my journey with Dr. NICOLE TEIFER of Novi's Today's Orthodontics. I am waiting for my trays to come in. My estimated treatment will be 13 months. Excited to be starting my Invisaline treatment. Updated on 21 Mar 2016: It has been almost 6 weeks since I got my scans. Today I received my first set of trays. They put my attachments on. So glad that I do not have any on my front teeth, so far. So far no pain. Updated on 21 Mar 2016: Here is a pre invisalign picture. Looking forward to seeing improvements. Updated on 12 Apr 2016: So far my experience has not been what I had anticipated. I really have not had any discomfort at all. Not that I am complaining but I thought it was going to be much more difficult. I have not lost any weight. Maybe I am eating too much the 3 times my invisalign is out per day. I am wearing them the suggested 22 hours a day. My orthodontist has my changing them weekly. I'll update as I can. Updated on 12 Apr 2016: Here is an updated picture with my Invisalign.
