Exceptionally skilled surgeon. Delighted with the outcome. Excellent care from the initial to final post surgery consultation. I would highly recommend Mr Bulstrode and his team at the Parkside Hospital.
I made an appointment for breast reduction 15 years ago, and chickened out at the last minute. Encouraged by a friend who had had a good experience, I went to see her surgeon. I immediately liked him, booked a convenient date (4 clear weeks for recovery) and made a second appt to make sure he completely understood what I wanted. I think this was crucial to my results, with which I am THRILLED! They are small, rounded and pass the pencil test! My only problem has been bruising on my right side, and hard patches of hematoma which are only slowly resolving. He has aspirated three times but I think the blood has hardened and the body has to eventually liquefy it. worth it though, a million times.... Updated on 17 Jan 2016: now that I have stopped wearing the tape, and am just massaging the scars twice a day and wearing a new comfy bra, I feel great. the scars are still tight, and I am definitely still experiencing some swelling especially when I have been rushing around. Updated on 27 Mar 2016: I finally feel that everything has settled down and am very pleased with the result/ It is wonderful to be free!
I had rhinoplasty with Mr Bulstrode and I feel disappointed by the result. I feel it was partly my fault for not doing enough research; I feel a slight improvement was made but I still have a significant bump on my nose post surgery :( and I felt my concerns were dismissed when I told him I wasn't happy.
I had surgery with Mr Bulstrode early last year and i have only just got over my depression following the less than satisfactory results. I wanted my breasts to look fuller as ive always felt it would enhance my figure in clothing and just generally make me feel better about myself. I wish now I could go back to my smaller natural breasts. I feel Mr Bulstrode was quick to dismiss my concerns and told me I had body dysmorphia which is ironic as his career involves people with a certain degree of body dysmorphia. I feel the implants Mr Bulstrode used are too large for my frame even though he convinced me it would look natural. He then lied about the size of the scars which are still very noticeable after more than a year and the worst part is my nipples are too low down on the breasts and look very strange. I can send private pictures and give more information about my experience if anyone is looking to go through a similar procedure with Mr Bulstrode as im sure it will make you think twice.
I joined this site because I think people deserve to know when a surgeon has produced results that are well below expected so they are able to make an informed decision. In this instance the results I got from Mr Bulstrode were not only well below expected but have downright ruined my life. I have always been self conscious of asymmetry in my nose, particularly the left side which has always made my nose look crooked. To my delight Mr Bulstrode convinced me this was an easy fix. I initially thought it would involve adding cartilage to the nose but Mr Bulstrode formulated a plan to remove cartilage but just enough to make the nose more symmetrical. Of course I believed Mr Bulstrode knows what's best being an experienced surgeon however looking at my results its clear he took away way too much cartilage and now I feel my nose looks feminine and obviously operated on and unnatural. Mr Bulstrode has a friendly and kind demeanour but ultimately his surgical skills have a lot to be desired and I would urge anyone considering him to look past that friendly attitude and ask to see proof of his work before committing to any form of surgery with him.
