Dr. Fine was the second surgeon I met with and made me feel like he actually cared. He was so compassionate and answered all of my questions, down to even calming my nerves and making me feel at ease, even when my fears were irrational. For being so sought after, he did not dismiss me or make me feel like a number. He is thorough and his staff is amazing as well. All made me feel amazing and were there at every step of the way. So detailed and particular and precise. Top notch. Cannot get better than Dr. Fine. My procedure was a breast reduction, with auxillary breast tissue reduction as well, abdominoplasty, hernia and diastasis recti repair.

I was doctor fines first client to receive motiva implants and I am so happy I had my breast done! He listened to everything I wanted & the surgery could not have gone any better. He is a amazing doctor and everyone in the office is very kind and accommodating! Best decision I have ever made.

I had a breast reduction procedure with Dr. Fine in June 2018, my second one with Dr Fine (the first was in 2007). Once again, he did an amazing job. I recovered quickly and am very happy with the results. I moved forward with using Dr. Fine again even though my insurance company originally considered him out of network - I was willing to pay out of pocket for his expertise and reliable results. After the procedure, his billing team worked with my insurance company and ultimately the procedure ended up being fully covered, and I was refunded in full. Dr Fine's entire staff is wonderful - from scheduling to billing to post-op follow up.

I had transaxillary breast implants - after nursing two children for a long time and being athletic, there was not much left and I was just not loving my body. I had a friend who had a great experience with Dr. Fine so I made an appointment and was so pleased by the welcoming environment and the normalcy of the entire process. Dr. Fine is such a pro, with a relaxed, low-stress vibe. The pre-op appointments were very helpful in figuring out size, and Dr. Fine knew right away what I was looking for. The surgery was low-stress (and I was nervous) and recovery was very smooth. The scars are minimal and fading 3 months post-op - in the armpit is the way to go - I wear sleeveless and tanks when I work out and no one ever notices. I highly recommend Dr. Fine, PA Michelle Grim, Julie and the entire staff. They are pros, and this is not the time to go bargain shopping - they are the best. Happier than I ever thought possible with the results. Thank you!

I underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy in November 2015 when I was 27. Dr. Fine did the second half of the initial surgery and the reconstructive surgery. I could not be happier with the outcome and had a great experience (all things considered). Dr. Fine, Michelle, and the office staff were incredibly responsive (via text, email, and phone) and kind throughout the process and always made me feel comfortable. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dr. Fine as a fantastic surgeon for breast reconstruction.

I could write a novel about my incredible experience with Dr. Neil Fine and his staff. Overall, I've never felt more cared for as a patient. Unfortunately, I've had my fair share of doctors. But nobody made me feel more comfortable, informed, or hopeful than Dr. Fine. I became his patient due to the fact that I wanted reconstruction after a double mastectomy. His skill puts him in the same category as the best of the best. And that also goes for his team-- that's exactly what they are... a team. My final results have surpassed my greatest expectations. Sounds cheesy but owe so much to Dr. Fine. From the time I was told I had breast cancer to the final stage of my reconstruction, I psychologically struggled more than I thought I would. But thanks to his patience with me and his drive to see me happy with what I see when I look in the mirror, I no longer feel the ware and tear of my surgeries. I no longer see scars when I look at myself; it's one of the best feelings in the world. And I owe that to Dr. Neil Fine. Love you, Dr. Fine!

Surgery is in 2 days and very nervous! I have wanted to get this done for over 15 years and am excited for the end result, but wish I could skip this part. I keep reading about people having terrible pain, and I'm worried about going back to work 5 days post op. I trust that I have a great doctor. It will really help to have people's support, especially those of you who have been through this! I hope it isn't as bad as I expect it to be. Will try to journal here throughout this journey.

Surgery went SO well this morning! Feeling no pain at all and very clear-headed! He inserted a marcaine pain pump that will deliver numbing medication for the next 3 days continuously, and that pump is a miracle. Haven't seen them yet since I'm wrapped in an ace wrap until tomorrow, but will post another update then! :)

Last night was a little rough, not gonna lie. Had to sleep propped on a few pillows, took my regular pain pill, then ibuprofen, then after an hour got up and had to take another pain pil, then later a sleeping pill and was finally able to fall asleep. Took a few hours and was jealous of my boyfriend sleeping like a baby without a care in the world next to me! He has been super helpful and caring throughout this process though and it is very sweet how concerned he has been. My left side bled through the bandage and stained the sheets but today seems to have stopped. I think it was normal leakage from the pain pump site. I'm definitely lucky to have this pain pump and am nervous to see what the pain is like when it wears off on Saturday! Will post pics later today!

My pain pump ran out last night so my boyfriend helped me pull it out. Went smoothly and surprisingly I had almost no pain when I woke up today! I think I can move off the pain meds today and just take Ibuprofen from here on out. The pain meds make me tired and are constipating (even with daily stool softeners) so I'm pretty much over them. I will save them for nighttime if needed. I feel like the worst of the pain is over too. My PS told me that the people who go in to surgery with expectations of horrible pain (like I did) end up with less than people who go into it thinking it will be a breeze. Plus I'm starting to think that maybe I just have a higher pain tolerance than many people after reading reviews on here. Not bragging, just very interesting how some people suffer for weeks and I'm already feeling ok so soon. I'm very happy about this since I go back to work in 2 days.
Boobs still look and feel the same, no point in posting new pics at this time. Anxious for them to soften and drop a bit.

Today I was nervous because I have a 45 minute commute each way and I don't exactly have a desk job. By the end of the day I was definitely feeling some soreness and tightness especially under the arms but I took some ibuprofen and it feels better now. No new pics today, too tired. First post op appt is tomorrow, looking forward to hearing what the PS has to say.

Had a busy week but everything is going very well! Post op appt this week went great, healing well and cleared to wear regular bras and get on the treadmill when feeling ready. Soreness decreasing day by day, and bruising fading. Still haven't dropped but I know it's super early. Going bra shopping today! :)

For anyone wondering what 400cc's will get you from a small B... Went bra shopping today. Trying to fit into a C is a joke. And any 'sexy' push up bras don't even work with a D, have to go DD. Not upset about this, actually very happy! Just want those of you who are wondering (like I did) to know. ????????????

Wanted to show my scars for those of you who don't know about axillary incisions (in the armpits). It is rare to find a doc who does this, but my PS is a leader in this technique. He uses a small camera in the pockets when he is placing the implants in order to minimize trauma and bleeding. The scars are then bunched up a bit on purpose and glued so over time when the skin stretches back into place, they are very difficult to see. I'm very happy I went with this approach and I highly recommend my surgeon!

Can anyone give me an accurate timeline to when their nipple sensation came back? I'm still sore to the touch in the entire breasts too. 16 days post op today. Also posting the pic of my other incision since it wouldn't let me on my last post.
