Numbness
WORTH IT$9,500
Can anyone give me an accurate timeline to when their nipple sensation came back? I'm still sore to the touch in the entire breasts too. 16 days post op today. Also posting the pic of my other incision since it wouldn't let me on my last post.

Axillary incisions
Wanted to show my scars for those of you who don't know about axillary incisions (in the armpits). It is rare to find a doc who does this, but my PS is a leader in this technique. He uses a small camera in the pockets when he is placing the implants in order to minimize trauma and bleeding. The scars are then bunched up a bit on purpose and glued so over time when the skin stretches back into place, they are very difficult to see. I'm very happy I went with this approach and I highly recommend my surgeon!

Mine is doing these incisions also, yours looks like it's healing very well! Hope mine looks this good! Lol how long did you have to wait to use deodorant and shave and stuff?

Glad to hear you are going with this approach! When is your surgery? As of my 1 week post op appointment, he told me I could wear deodorant. I just don't put it directly on my scar but around it is ok. He said to use clippers instead of a razor for at least a couple of months until the scars go down a bit. Luckily for me I had laser hair removal in that area a few years ago so I don't grow that much hair to begin with. Good luck with everything!

That's awesome, I'm scheduled for March 17 :) my concern is deodorant lol as its 75-80 degrees here lol I'll ask him about it when I go to do my final payment on Monday :)

This is the way we expect the scar to look at 16 days. I expect your scar to heal so that it is very hard to see. I have patients who I can not even see there scars as it blends into the natural crease or fold in the axilla(armpit). It is possible for all breast augmentation incision to heal well, but there is never a better look than no scar on the breast. I have had a number of women tell me that they could not convince their partners that they had even had augmentation...because there were no scars.

Definitely a D
For anyone wondering what 400cc's will get you from a small B... Went bra shopping today. Trying to fit into a C is a joke. And any 'sexy' push up bras don't even work with a D, have to go DD. Not upset about this, actually very happy! Just want those of you who are wondering (like I did) to know. ????????????

You look amazing!!!!!

This makes me excited to bra shop! How are your feeling? Any pain at all? How do the incisions feel?

February 25, 2016
That's good to know. I haven't gotten sized yet but I'm hoping I'm at least a C cup. How are you feeling?

February 27, 2016
Just minimal pain at this point, the incisions are tender but they are under my arms and not under the breasts themselves. It is rare for docs to go that way but I'm glad I found someone who is good at this technique! How are you feeling?

I've been on this site for a couple weeks, I'll be getting 385cc infers in April:) I hope mine look as good as yours:)

February 27, 2016
Thank you Biatris1! I'm sure you will love them and that everything will go well!
February 28, 2016
I hope so:) We have been going back and forth between 385 and 415 (those are the choices) ... I am now leaning towards the 415cc. How are you feeling about your size now? I know there will still be many changes, but do you feel good about your choice still?

AND Zinkie, thank you for responding. I, like everyone else here, is just trying to make the best decision for me, and your experience and thoughts do help so much:)
It is so strange how this procedure is bringing so many minds together.

Hi Biatris! Sorry for the late reply. Yes I am VERY happy with my size choice! Did you get yours done yet?

The more complete the numbness, the less chance of the sensation coming back. Mostly the nerves are stretched and there is decreased sensation or tingling or burning and this generally recovers. I use a lot of local anesthesia, so it is common to be very numb initially. After about two weeks you generally have some sensation coming back, more is better. But sensory nerves may recover over a period as long as 2 years, so it is not impossible to have the sensation come back later, but it is less common the longer the numbness persists. Hope this helps.
