I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy in 2012. My first surgery was done by a well known, male, plastic surgeon and I was very disappointed with the results. I was so nervous about trying again, that I waited 10 long years and then finally decided to make an appointment with Dr. Blanchet. She listened and heard everything I said. She replaced my old implants and fixed all of my concerns. Dr. Blanchet made me feel like myself again and it has truly been life changing. I highly recommend Dr. Blanchet for everyone but especially women. She really is a special doctor and person.

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude towards Dr Blanchet! I was very nervous about having my tummy tuck procedure done for multiple reasons. My first concern at 52 years of age was not wanting to be vein. Upon my first visit with Dr. Blanchet we discussed the fact that my back hurt. We talked about the possibility that along with the confidence, boost of
a tummy tuck, strengthening my core muscles could relieve some stress on my back.Dr Blanchet has such a calm, soothing, soft voice and demeanor along with skillful talent that Imy nerves were calmed and then I decided I wasn’t just being vein,. This surgery could help me in many ways, it would certainly boost my self-confidence and i most likely would help with picking up my grandchildren without back pain. The day that I had my surgery done, I was greeted by the entire team, and everybody was friendly, calm, and excited for me! Because of this amazing team, I wasn’t nervous at all! Upon waking up after surgery I was talked to and encouraged. My husband helped me through the healing process and Dr. Blanchet asked me to email her as often as I could and needed with any and all questions. She was like having a post surgery doula! I am so so HAPPY with my results!!! I feel AMAZING and as a bonus the surgery did help my back due to strengthen my core!! I’m so glad I did it and I truly enjoy going for follow up visits at Dr. Blanchet’s office! I will miss all of the ladies at the office. Dr. Blanchet has such an incredible bedside manner that you just want to be her friend!! I highly recommend Dr. Blanchet and her team. I can’t express to you the amount of self-confidence that choosing to go with.Dr. Blanchet has given me!

I had been hiding from photos, even with my grandchild, for years, hating the way my turkey neck/double chin, which slowly developed as I got older, looked. I researched the top plastic surgeons in my area (Richmond metro area, Virginia), and scheduled a consultation with the top doc, Nadia Blanchet. She thoroughly explained the procedure, the recovery and healing time and the costs and was open to my endless questions.

I am now just two months out from the neck lift/face lift and I couldn't be happier. I am not a glamorous person by any means -- but the before and after comparisons made me feel like a star. It's funny to say, but my friends and family agree that I don't look like a different person, I just look "fresher" and younger. My daughter and granddaughter will be here in a month, and you can bet that I will be happy to have some candids with them -- no more hiding!

She also dealt with my dwindling and hazardously small field of vision (I had just hit a fire hydrant because I couldn't see it) by doing eyelid surgery at the same time. Once healed, which took just a few weeks, I was amazed at my peripheral vision, as well as the fact that you absolutely could not see any evidence of surgery.

In addition to her surgical talent, Dr. Blanchet is one of the kindest and most "real" physicians I have ever encountered. I already have given her contact information to friends who have asked about both the medically necessary eyelid surgery and the, for lack of a better word, "vanity" neck lift. I know that, if they seek Dr. Blanchet's assistance, they will be over the moon like I am.

Dr. Blanchet is the most amazing, caring, plastic surgeon and there are not enough superlatives to describe her!  I had a double mastectomy in 2010 and reconstruction surgery with another plastic surgeon. Unfortunately, I had many complications, and had to keep going under the knife to try to fix each new issue or infection.  I ended up with what I called "nippleless skin mounds" on my chest.  It was hard looking at them every day knowing I once had beautiful breasts.  I thought I had finally given up hope of ever looking like a real woman again, when a friend told me I needed to go see Dr. Blanchet.  At our first meeting she opened my chart and realized I was there for a breast reconstruction revision consultation.  She was clearly excited and told me she LOVED revision surgery!  Then she took a softer tone and said she was sorry I needed revision surgery and didn't mean to sound happy about it.  Little did she know, that initial response was exactly what I was hoping for!  I had already been to two other surgeons trying to find someone who would try to make me look better and neither was excited about the prospect.  Clearly, Dr. Blanchet was excited!  I couldn't schedule my surgery fast enough!  She listened to all my concerns and hopes and carefully explained her game plan.  I am now 8 weeks out from surgery and have two beautiful breasts that are even, symmetrical, and thrill me when I look in the mirror!  When Amy Black Tattoos puts the finishing touches on with some new tattooed nipples, I will be 100%!  I highly recommend Dr. Blanchet to be your first choice!  I wish I had found her much sooner!

I think very highly of Dr Blanchet! She is excellent at what she does AND she cares! She is passionate about what she does and it shows! She spends as much time as she needs explaining and making sure her patients are in good hands! I trust my face in her hands!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr Blanchet! She is informed, passionate about what she does and amazing at what she does. My neck had wrinkles and it had been bothering me for years. It was the first thing I noticed in the mirror. I finally did something about it and I'm SO glad I chose Dr Blanchet! Now when I look in the mirror the first thing I see is my pretty smooth neck and face! Also her follow up is fantastic. She really takes care of her patients

Dr. Blanchet is a true master of her craft. I cannot recommend her enough. I am 3 years out from a double mastectomy and I am 5 weeks out of a complete implant revision and liposuction/fat grafting. My chest was a mess when I went to her, and what I look like now is unbelievable. I feel good about looking into a mirror again. I let her pick the size, my first implants after mastectomy were an ok size, but they never felt natural (small). My new breasts are perfect! I wish I had gone to her from the beginning and saved years of just accepting what I looked like. I scar horribly and I am having trouble finding her incision across my breast. Any questions that have come up along the way, I have emailed her, and SHE emails back usually within 20 minutes. The attention to detail, the friendliness of her staff, down to scheduling of the procedure is second to none. I would trust Dr. Blanchet to do anything. If you need to or want to have cosmetic surgery she is your surgeon to call on. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Blanchet is caring, calm, professional, and immediately put me at ease. Dr. Blanchet's staff is just as wonderful--I look forward to my follow-up visits! I've had two procedures and both were stellar experiences. There just aren't enough stars to award Dr. Blanchet.

I am a breast cancer survivor and when I met Dr. Blanchet I was petrified and left without any self-esteem. Now after working with her for 3 years I have the most beautiful, symmetrical, natural-looking breasts I could have imagined of having. She has made sure to listen to my concerns and tweak my procedures as necessary. One thing I love about her is that she tells you the cold hard truth if she thinks there is a better option based on research she will tell you that. She won't lie to you and say "of course that will fix all of your problems" to take your money. She is honest and genuine. She will respond via email almost immediately which is very comforting as a surgical patient. My insurance also changed when I needed more adjustments and she offered to continue to do my surgeries regardless. She has done above and beyond for my self-esteem and worked with me on my financial needs as well.

It BREAKS my heart to read these negative reviews about her and her staff mostly having to do with being turned away for weight. Weight is a legitimate risk factor when it comes to surgery and healing rates so please be mindful that this may not be judgmental but only a risk that needs to be addressed for your safety. Dr. Blanchet or staff have never come across judgemental to me. Hope this helps anyone looking for a great Doctor

I have been to see Dr. Blanchet several times over the past few years. She was my “first time” surgeon for Botox and fillers. Words can’t express how thrilled I was at the result. She is an artist. The result was so subtle, yet transformative at the same time. That is the mark of an excellent surgeon, in my opinion.
