First off she is such a highly skilled surgeon. Results look natural. She is available at all times. You see her after surgery and throughout the recovery process. She is a hands on doctor, she truly cares about your wellbeing
I'm loving the results of my Mommy Makeover: tummy tuck, flanks and back lipo and breast augmentation. I actually booked with another surgeon a few months ago, but when I became drawn to Dr. Myla's videos educating us about safe plastic surgery I knew she was the perfect surgeon for me. From the moment I scheduled the consultation Crystal, Joanne, Leah and the entire team were professional, personable and respectful. Four weeks post op I can't over how small my belly is and how natural my breasts look, which resemble my natural breasts, but blown up. Dr. Myla and staff has been very receptive to my calls and emails. I feel blessed that God led me to Dr. Myla.
My experience with Dr. MYLA has been like knowing a FB friend and finally meeting her. She was everything, I thought she would be. Brilliant yet personable! I WAS happy to share about 20 of her business cards with friends and acquaintances. I can't wait to see the results of my lipo. I will be back for more!!!
It’s only been 2 days since my procedure and I feel about 85% normal today. I was able to take the kids to school and I’ll be driving myself to my first lymphatic massage. On the first day afterwards I questioned myself since I was soooo sore. Today is a whole lot better! My procedure was done in office. I arrived at 8am and the staff didn’t arrive until 8:35. Not a biggie as I was super nervous anyway. Once in the back of the room, my blood pressure was taken and it was too high. It’s usually in normal range, but since I was sent home and denied surgery last month partly because of this I asked my PCP for a rx. I had to take one of my pills before they would start giving me Valium and Percocet. It eventually came down. Once I had my happy meds, I passed out for an hour until it was time to walk to the operation room. I was prepped and numbed by Dr. Bennett. You guys! The numbing part burns soooo bad. It’s doable pain, but it’s super uncomfortable. She numbed my back first and let that sit for 30 minutes. Then she performed the procedure on my back. Then I flipped sides and she numbed the front. There were some painful moments once she started the lipo on the front but she was quick to give more numbing fluids. After she was done, the staff helped me into my compression garment and clothes. The entire process took about 6.5 hours. I left the office at 3:45pm. My husband was a wonderful helper. He drove me there and back and took off work for 2 days to help me in and out the garment, changed pads, and fixed food. You will need help for days 1 and 2. Once I left, I had leakage in the car and all over my floor at home from the numbing fluids. The linking continued into day 2. I used maxi pads to catch the fluid. These work so much better than the medical pads they give you. Make sure you have a bed cover and seat cover for the car. Trash bags work, but I ordered a waterproof cloth cover for the bed since it’s more comfortable to sleep on. Pain is bearable after the procedure. You just feel like you’ve done 500 crunches and ran a marathon. I can tell a huge difference in my shape. Just waiting for my skin to retract. It already has a little. Updated on 27 Apr 2019: Still sore but doing massages at home to help drain fluids and reduce swelling. I’m praying I keep shrinking and my skin keeps retracting. Updated on 15 May 2019: I no longer feel pregnant with a tight abdomen. It’s likely I need a smaller garment but I will check next week at my one month mark. I ordered an abdomen board to get rid of the creasing that my faja was causing and my tummy started healing evenly. I also use a waist trainer underneath my faja to provide a tighter fit since I believe it’s a little loose. I get my lymphatic draining massages once every 10 days. My incisions are super itchy. I have to use Benadryl cream on them. Pics show 10 days and 23 days post op.
I'm too eager to write this review! First of all, I had my 360 lipo w/gluteal contouring today and I'm up writing reviews n walking around. Oh my goodness I haven't even seen my results yet and Dr. Myla, her team and the staff at Northside Alpherretta Hospital get 10 stars from me if that's an option! They are professional, comforting, down to earth, educational, truly committed to patients' safety and coming out of surgery unscathed! Their facilities are completely clean, organized and very nicely decorated. Dr. Bennett is FIRE in that she is so REAL and down to earth...what more could you want in addition to her knowing her stuff. I would recommend her repeatedly w/no hesitation! Leslie and Yaritza on her team are BOMB! I can't remember the other two ladies' names however, they were BOMB too! 110% satisfied
Dr Myla is down to earth. She cares about her patients and always tells the truth even if it means you may not choose her to be your doctor. I have been very happy with my results so far and it will only get better.
I’m a mom of 4. I’m 5’1 and 167 lbs (Petite) I have a unique life and I can’t exercise as much as I would like to have my body image that I desire. I work out and eat well. (Not all the way healthy but definitely not bad) lol I have a gut with stretch marks I also have some hanging skin due to all my pregnancies. So I’m hoping that my liposuction well remove that stubborn fat that I can’t seem to remove. I’m getting my Abdominal and sides liposuction....and I’ve already had my consolation ($150) with Dr. Bennett. Some doctors do have free consolations but who wants to see many patients a day and when people hear the amount for their services they no longer want the service... that then becomes wasted time and energy! Folks needs to be paid one way or another so I didn’t mind. And the money for your consolation goes towards your procedure DEPENDING on when you book! So my experience with Dr. Bennett and her team was good. It’s very calming atmosphere and her office in Duluth GA is so fancy, cute, beautiful, professional, (something straight out of a magazine) Amanda Is super nice sweet ans to me goes above and beyond by answering any questions you have even if you asked them more than once. The staff attitudes are positive and nice. They all make you feel comfortable. Dr. Bennett spends all the time you need with her. She’s direct honest and straightforward. She definitely respects your decision on what you desire to have done. My procedure is next week. I’ll show all my results up to six months. I’ll post pictures the night before my surgery so you all can see my real weight and look. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: I gotten liposuction on my abdominal and flanks. It’s now the day after my surgery and I’m just sore. Last night I did a ton of leaking. After I shower I’ll show pictures. But keep in mind it’s day 1 and everybody body’s are different!!! Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Here are my pictures the night before my surgery I’m 5’1 and 167lbs Updated on 18 Jan 2019: My skin is saggy but I’m not going to focus on that too much because it’s only day one. But I have some bruising and I’m sore. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Here are my before pictures to give you all a visual. I’m 5’1 and weighs 166lbs my procedure is tomorrow!!! I’m going to an outpatient hospital. I preferred to get put to sleep. Which was an extra 2k. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Hello beautiful. Today was my surgery day. It went well I got General Anesthesia so I was knocked out. Everyone at the hospital was nice and alongside of me trusting my God I felt more a ease and comfortable about the procedure. I got my abdominal and flanks (sides) done. I woke up no pain of course just leaking. It’s. Now 10pm and my pain scale 1-10 (10 being the worst pain) I’ve been at a 4.. however I am leaking all over. My advise to you wear clothes you don’t mind ruining and bedding. I laid down a shower curtain with a sheet on top of that and I’m using a blanket I got from the hospital long time ago. I’m in my garment it tight but I thought it would be tighter. I’ll continue to keep you all posted of changes Updated on 19 Jan 2019: My body is sore (as expected) it feels like I’m caring bricks. But hers some pictures. I’ll post more pics next Thursday. Updated on 23 Jan 2019: Hello All! I just left from receiving My lymphatic massage and just know THESE ARE A MUST TO GET. I’m less sore my skin doesn’t feel as numb and my inflammation has gone down a lot and I can actually see better results from the surgery. Updated on 8 Feb 2019: im currently 3 weeks!! my sides are still sore, nothing i cant handle tho. its still uncomfortable to sleep at night do to the compression garment. I use a ab board to help with more compression and foam boards. im receiving the lymphatic massages at least 3x a week and if not im doing them at home and i must say IT HELPS WONDERFULLY. it helps with the soreness, the swelling, and the physical appearance of my stomach. the massages removes all toxic things from the body!
I met with Dr. Bennet on 8/24/18. I felt welcomed upon my entrance to the facility. Upon arriving, Dr. Bennet was engaged with staff, and you can tell that they have a good working relationship. I was immediately taken to the back by Ms. Rhonda, whose personality is AWESOME, and given a warm Terry cloth robe (yes, not a scratchy, paper gown) After getting some pictures, I met with Dr. Bennet.I felt as if I was speaking with a close girlfriend or an Auntie who is genuinely concerned about my health. She was open and honest about the procedures that I desired, gave me her professional opinion, and we came up with a plan. She took her time to ensure that I was comfortable with all that we discussed PRIOR to leaving. What's also important, she answers many of her own FB messages, as I didnt know that I was speaking directly with her. The cost is higher than some facilities that I researched, but my body is priceless, and I believe you get what you pay for. I did commit with her prior to leaving. It was important for me to feel as if I was NOT a number, a project, or just another procedure. Dr. Bennett and her staff went above my expectations, and I can tell that it is the norm!! I'm looking forward to Preserving My Pretty!!! Updated on 25 Jan 2019: I finally have my surgery date confirmed!!! On April 4th, I feel that I am getting an entirely new start to take care of my body! I know that many say that you should just be happy with what God gave you, and I am! But, I am also happy that He gave me Dr. Myla who is going to get me back snatched! I will attempt to update my post as my surgery date gets closer. In the meantime, I am going to start purchasing some items so that I do not wait until the last minute. What are some items that is suggested that will help? OH, my official surgery will consist of TT, lipo of flanks, and gluteal contouring (NOT BBL)...
She is very professional and educated. I love her high energy! GREAT experience overall. Kayla, her assistant is excellent and very sweet. I'm very excited to proceed with surgery next month!!! Thank you so much Dr. Myla and Staff!!
UPDATE: 1 day post op. Feel pretty good just sore. Went to the grocery and aside from getting in and out of the car felt great. I'm including pics with the compression garment and the fat thatwas removed. Still swollen and leaking has stopped - hubby was great helping with changing the pads from the leaking! So far, so good. Will continue to update. Looking forward to a shower tomorrow!! Updated on 3 Apr 2016: Somehow I ended up with two reviews (probably the meds) so I'm consolidating. I'm a 54 y.o. Mom, 175lbs, 5'6". Had my procedure (upper and lower abs and flanks) done on Friday. Adding before pics as well as some I took today. Got to take a shower and wash my garment and binder today. Feel good. Went shopping for a while to move about. Still swollen and a little sore but feel like once that goes down the results will be positive. Will continue to update. Updated on 4 Apr 2016: feel really good today. No pain meds necessary - not even OTC. Still swollen and a little sore, but much improved. Continuing with the compression garment and binder 24/7. Did a lot of errands today and didn't get tired - much more mobile and easier to get in and out of the car. Good day!! Updated on 9 Apr 2016: Went in to have my incisions checked. Everything looks good. Still pretty swollen, but Dr. Bennett said that's to be expected and I look good for one week. Very little pain - just a little soreness in some spots. Haven't taken pain meds since Monday. Will post pics soon. Updated on 15 Apr 2016: Posting updated pics. Still pretty swollen and a little sore. The incisions itch a little bit. All of which was expected. My skin is starting to tighten back up too. Now that some of the swelling is starting to subside, I feel like the results will be good. Excited to see what the next few weeks being. I look forward to being able to go back to spin class and exercise harder. Updated on 23 Apr 2016: Adding some pictures - can tell the biggest difference in my upper abs, which has always been a problem for me. Still swollen, but some of the hardness has gone away. My diet hasn't been great, so I'm definitely going to get back to eating clean effective immediately. Rode a stationary bike today - not too hard, but not exercising for three weeks has been miserable. Don't think I pushed too hard - feel ok. Hoping the swelling will start to subside soon, but I was told it would be several weeks. Just feeling a little impatient. Updated on 29 Apr 2016: Skin is tightening up. Still a little sore and swollen. Hopefully that will continue to subside. Tired of the compression garment but ordered a couple more today because mine are starting to get a little beat up. Looking forward to working out again! Haven't been to spin class in a month. Posting some updated pics. Updated on 6 May 2016: swellingn is down today. It's been nice to get back to spin class this week. I really missed it. Skin is starting to firm up and this week, I'm feeling less sore and tender. Hopefully the swelling will continue to go down! Posting a couple of updated pics. I need to figure out how to do the side by side before and after pics!
