I’m a mtf transgender woman who was going through life feeling very down and low because my face didn’t match my inner soul. It hindered me from acting opportunities, blessings, and essentially life for a very long time . I went in to Dr . Rizvi to consult for facial feminization surgery . I admittedly went in with not the best attitude. Prejudgmental and skeptical . I wanted to make sure that it was right . I would later come to find that my prejudgements were unnecessary. I have to say that from the moment I came in contact with Dr Rizvi , I felt a sense of calm and safeness in my spirit . The moment he walked in the room he looked at my face so intently before we even spoke, as an artist would a canvas . I had my ffs surgery with him on February 10,2019 . Everything came out so incredibly natural feminine , and beautiful. This is the best decision I have ever made and I’m so glad God assigned him to change my life . He is truly an artist and no one will ever be allowed to touch my face but him! Thanks Dr Rizvi! Ps. If you’d like before and agrees just message me on here .
As a transgender woman, we do not always get the opportunity to grow adequate breast so many times we are stuck with choosing surgery or dealing with the small benefits of hormone therapy. As a girl who is 6 feet in height I knew I would need to add for the proper body proportions. With my doctors recommendation and my own personal research the choice to go with 800cc Mentor Silicon Gel profile plus smooth round implants, under the muscle, and inmamory incision. The size initially scared me as that was huge in my mind yet after doing the math and having a doctor explain the need for the style implant, it made sense. I look now and as my doctor has stated, I could easily have gone up to 1000cc because of the frame I have. This has been a wonderful experience and happy I chose the doctor and the implants I did.
Best. Doctor. EVERRR! I have been going to Dr. Rizvi for years now (this review is well overdue)! I was getting my botox shots and fillers from him for the past few years. He is the only one who injects the right amount so I do not look overdone. Did a breast aug and rhinoplasty with him a year and a half ago, which looks amazing. I could not be happier. Just last month I did the "vampire face lift" (AKA PRP) with him. I am literally glowing! He is the only doctor I trust going to. I heard he is also opening a Brentwood location, which I am super excited about.
What can I say about a surgeon who listens, asks questions and tells you realistic expectations! He's the first surgeon that I've gone to who really listens to the patient. I for one will always go to Dr. Rizvi......he's changed my life! Thank you Dr.Rizvi
What motivated me to get my Mommy Makeover, Tummy Tuck with Muscle Repair and Breast Lift with Lollipop incision, was to fix what healthy eating and exercise couldn't after losing weight. I was tired of hiding the excess skin in my clothes. Pros Clean Facility Friendly Staff (except for one nurse which is the same one that told me I would no longer see my Surgeon and would be assigned a new one. She always seems to be in such a mood) Dr. Rizvi listens to what you want and doesn't waste your time with [RS bleep]. He went over the procedure and explained how and what he was going to do for me. He went over the possible pain I may experience or not, the emotional changes and stages my body would be going through. I used to have a vertical line right in the middle of my abdomen. Dr. Rizvi created a round belly button which has detail inside. I don't even remember having a belly button as nice as it is now. I love it so much. It looks very natural. He said he would keep my Tummy Tuck incision low and that he did. He took most of my stretch marks off and the ones that remain are below the belly button. I'm still swollen from the procedure, but It is way flatter than it was. I cannot express how happy I am with my breast. I can't remember ever seeing them look this good ever. He made them look fuller and youthful. To be honest, now I don't mind showing them off. He provided us with his personal contact number for emergencies or immediate concerns. He was great about answering right away or returning phone calls. Cons This is not a con towards my Surgeon but rather towards the Institute where I had services rendered. Dr Rizvi is no longer at Athenix because he had gotten busy at his private practice. I was told on my two week visit by a nurse that he would no longer be my Doctor and a new Surgeon would be assigned to me. I didn't like the fact that now I would have to be familiar with another person when I was already comfortable with Dr. Rizvi. I was given an appointment to see the new doctor at the 6 week mark and I told the nurse Dr. Rizvi wanted to see me at 4 weeks. She said It didn't matter, he was no longer my doctor. A week after, I had what I later found out was an allergic reaction to the stitches and my body was rejecting. I didn't know what to do and it was after hours and I didn't have the new Surgeons information so I contacted Dr. Rizvi and sent him a picture of the area. I think he called me within 10 to 15 minutes after sending the message to him. He explained how to care for the area to avoid infection. At that time, I took the opportunity to ask him why I couldn't continue seeing him and he said I had the option to stay at the institute or see him at his private practice and would be more than happy to accommodate me. I haven't had any issues seeing him at his private practice. Updated on 20 Apr 2016: This is a before picture I am comfortable sharing. I will probably share the ones from the doctors office later on when I get a hold of them Updated on 20 Apr 2016: These are oucture of my surgery day and the first Week of surgery Updated on 21 Apr 2016: I started walking more upright. Bruising still present from breast lift. Lots of swelling every day is the norm. The first couple of weeks the swelling was just scary. I looked like the Michellin Man's mother. My crotch thighs and ankles were one big puffy mess. I had no butt either. I laugh aboyt ut now and wished to have taken pictures of it all. All this brought on Lots of emotional moments, too many. Also very normal. Dr. Rizvi ordered I stop wearing compression garment. That was hard to do and the only way to get it done was by throwing garment away. I was not released to workout yet, just walk. I was Able to fit in my jeans again. Updated on 5 May 2016: I got stuck in cournt not being able to update. This is progress of 12 weeks. Ive gained weight and at 12 weeks weigh exactly what I weigh the day of surgery. Sad and mad because I was not able to meal prep and eat the way I was due schedule and convenience being limited. Im still satisfied with how I look in the picture but I can work much harder. Thats the goal for the next weeks Updated on 13 Sep 2016: I am able to tolerate direct core workout now. I see and feel more permanent changes during this stage. Still watching what I eat by following what my fitness coach sends me. Exercising every day by doing HIIT workouts and alternating with body building workouts. Will start posting monthly until I reach my year .
Doctor pointed out that I have mild Pectus excavatum which I always knew my chest wall was different than most women. Updated on 5 Mar 2016: A slow mo video clip of me shaking my new boobs. Updated on 10 Mar 2016: So my breasts feel sun burned a majority of the time, I hope it goes away soon. Nonetheless, loving my 34C's... This picture was taken two days ago when I removed the bandages. My scars look amazing, so thin and hardly noticeable. I began using the scar revision cream the day I removed the bandages. My breasts look sooo natural just what I wanted. They've gotten a lot softer & get even more softer when I massage. I absolutely love them!!!
He butchered me. I woke up to implants that were way to high in my chest, I got a massive infection, he burned me with a bovi machine, used my nipple as a skin graft, so I’m uneven in one side. He didn’t even mention that the burn happened until well after 2 weeks. I wasn’t allowed to change my bandages for 2 weeks after surgery. I’m an MA AND KNOW POST OP WOUNDS NEED TO BE CHANGED WVERY 42- 72 hours! I have disgusting scars and had to get the implants removed before I went septic. He left me infected for months and I ended up having to go to the ER for an emergency implant removal.
