I'm 21 and have wanted a reduction for years. I lost 50lbs this year and knew it was time. I had my surgery with Dr. Moffit in Tampa on Dec 2nd . These are my before photos. In January I was 250lbs 5'9 and 38H by Dec i was 200lbs and 38DDD with so much sagging. They had been saggy already and got so much worse. This surgery was the best decision I ever made. Updated on 16 Dec 2022: I’m 2 weeks post op. I had dissolvable stitches and steri strips. My PS sent me home in ace bandages and 2 days later I could remove them and were a sports bra with no underwire and padding. I am amazed at her work, she’s truly an artist and has given me a new life. I’m a student and its winter break so I’m just taking it easy and trying not to gain too much weight back. I started nudging at the steri steps today as they can come off after two weeks. My post op visit was 5 days after the surgery and I see her again in 3months. Updated on 16 Dec 2022: Saggy 38DDD with large areola Updated on 16 Dec 2022: 2 weeks post op, here are a close look at my incisions. I went home with drains that stayed in for 5 days until my post op. I have a hypersensitive left nipple and no sensation in my right, not even to temperature or touch but that okay I’m so happy with the size and shape I have now. Updated on 18 Dec 2022: I am a little nervous after removing the tape around my right nipple (the one that has lost all sensation). Today as the tape peeled up I saw my pink flesh and my darker skin connected to the tape along the peeling inner side. I’m worried that I will lose the areola and nipple. I was reassured by my PS that it’s okay and will heal fine over time. Im not sure if the color will return I hope it does. If not I may get an areola tattoo to patch it up. Additionally there’s a little opening on the same breast at the bottom intersection but i’m confident it will close up. Ahh the things we go through for pretty breasts Updated on 22 Dec 2022: Left side is doing good, these are my incisions. I am letting the soapy water in over them in the shower, dabbing an isopropyl soaked gauze on them and applying antibiotic ointment daily. Hoping when I'm fully healed the pigment will return to my right areola Updated on 1 Jan 2023: 1 month post op. Here’s an update, my scars are looking great and all the scabs gone. I just started using Dr. Zenovia scar gel since all my incisions are closed. Updated on 1 Jan 2023: Updated on 29 Oct 2024:
I was a Perky C cup before my child. I wanted to regain fullness and go as big as I could, while maintaining a more natural look. I don't want to look like a porn star, but I do want tig ole bitties. Nothing wrong with that!! I went to Moriah Moffitt because she was recommended by a friend who went for a much fuller look than me, but she looks amazing!!!! Updated on 28 May 2020: I’m not the person who knows what ccs I would want, or the best type of incision to use.. I’m not a doctor. I never tried on ccs in Dr Moffitt’s office and she didn’t talk to me like that. We talked about what I wanted to look like (she did ask for pictures), what things were important to me (softness, movement, and proportions for me), and my overall expectations. I could tell from talking to her that she had plenty of Experience and confidence in her work. From there we did measurements and I showed up on surgery day. Unsure of exactly what ccs, though she did share the implant type/brand, and her general operating style. During my follow up she did tell me she tried one size, then another bc she remembered some of my preferences during surgery. I could not have been happier with my experience. I had my consult on a Wednesday and called back Thursday to schedule my surgery. Everything was so stress free and my girls look amazing!!!! Just like my friend’s!! Updated on 28 May 2020: Still in the bandages. My incisions didn’t leak or anything, and I don’t workout. I was pleasantly surprised they were not more square at the top, though that is completely normal Updated on 28 May 2020: This is day 3 after removing the bandages Updated on 28 May 2020: I’m wearing a 34D sports bra and it fits but lifts a little at the bottom. The top is still very tight and swollen but the bottom and sides are already starting to soften up!! I’m shocked at how soft the implants are. I’m left handed and my left boob is more tender than the right. I don’t workout, but you can tell I’m a lefty bc my right boob is dropping faster than my left. I also find myself icing my left more. Still, I can tell they are going to look fantastic!!! And I’m excited to see them dropping already!! I started my massages and compression band on Wednesday after I got the okay from my doctor. I will start and share my scar treatments as well. Updated on 28 May 2020: Updated on 31 May 2020: Nothing really changed this week in terms of appearance. They are getting softer on the sides and bottom. Top is still tight, sports bra is still annoying :) doing my massages multiple times a day and I do feel a difference, but you can’t see the difference. I’ll post my next update when there’s something to update on. Recovery is going great! Even with a less than 2 yr old at home. Updated on 4 Jun 2020: Dropping!!! Looks weird in the pictures bc the bottoms are dropping faster. The top is relaxing as well, just not as fast as the bottom. They are very soft and the right one has a little jiggle now. They look great in real life. I’m having so much fun putting on all my old clothes, and having them feel new My back is dead to me, and I want to order a new one off Amazon, but I’ve settled for a massage pillow and moving back to our couch, since it’s more firm. Updated on 21 Jun 2020: I look the very best I have ever looked in my life!!! My 29th birthday is next month and I can’t wait to get cute! I did have a complication the night I posted my 2 week photo. My kid head butted me in the right boob and two days later it swelled up, tightened up, and doubled in size in just an hour!!! I met my surgeon at the surgery’s center the very next morning bc she thought she’d have to open It up and drain it. She told me if she did it would take at least 6 months to heal. It was more painful than coming out of surgery and I had to wrap them back in the ace bandage for a week, but the swelling and fluid did go down, thank god. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR GIRLS!!!! I was so worried they would have to be removed, but I made it out with both :) as a result my right boob is about two weeks behind the left, but that’s better than 6 months. And it still looks good. You’ll notice it’s a big higher than the left, and it’s not as soft yet. I’ll most likely be lopsided for a few more weeks while the rest of the swelling goes down. It doesn’t hurt anymore, and still looks great in low cut tops, so it’s not holding me back lol My left one looks fantastic though!! Even with the complications I’d do it again Hahahahaha Updated on 19 Aug 2020: Better late than never! So seriously at day 14 just one day after my last photos, my right boob spasmed, swelled, and I died a bit! I have the best surgeon and team ever as they were so responsive. It was crazy. One minute I was sitting at home on the couch on my laptop and everything was fine. Then I felt my right boob hurting, but not too bad. Within an hour it was really hurting and I was cooking dinner. I looked down and these pictures are what a saw. It got more swollen and sooooo much more painful from there. I literally cried all night and met my surgeon at the surgery center the next morning in case she had to do emergency surgery. The swelling had gone down a bit in the morning in the pain was tolerable and I really didn’t want her to have to open it up and drain it so she thought that it would be OK for me to wrap it and ride out the pain. I wrapped it with the ace bandage for the next week. The surgeon informed me at that time that whether she opened it up or not it could take 4 to 6 months for my right boob to settle back down. And of course I have to be really aggressive with the massages and with my band to make sure that I don’t have any complications. By the time it was over my right boob was high if not higher than at the time of surgery and it was hard it was hard as a rock and it hurt and it was swollen and it was like being 100% back to square one. Right in the middle of my right boob toward the bottom closest to my body it felt like maybe a muscle ripped or tour or something like some thing. It felt painful and very wrong and it definitely felt like a sports injury that would take time to heal. Updated on 19 Aug 2020: So this was about two weeks after the boob explosion incident. At this point the surgeon told me not to do any massages or anything other than compression so I had been wearing my ace bandage for two weeks and this was actually me sending the surgeon a photo so that she could assess. Updated on 19 Aug 2020: August 22 I’ll be 12 weeks postop so I figure this is close enough. I’ve seen a lot of changes really in just the last two weeks!! both boobs have started to really drop and I’m finally seeing some progress. My right one is still has a ways to go but it’s soft!!! I’m doing my massages multiple times a day I’m doing my compression band, and making sure that I don’t see any capsular contracture in there. I’m making sure that I’m moving the implant around, and like I said it’s definitely getting softer. before this week I’ve been having to wear a push-up bra and push the left one up as much as possible while not touching the right. I’ve attached some pictures so you can see, that’s finally changed!!! I can just put on my bra now and they are even enough for me to wear cute clothes and that is way more than I could do just two weeks ago. In the picture with the bra were there pushed him pretty even you can see the bottom of my right boob where it exploded two months ago it’s still healing the muscle there is still very tight I can tell that it’s my muscle that is tight not the implant. The implant is still movable it’s still around and soft and my muscle is starting to soften up. Also I’m not in any pain none of this is painful.... and I say all of this because I’ve been doing a lot of research to make sure I don’t have any contracture and pain is one of the big things with that, and also not being able to move your implant around and I’m able to do all of those things so I’m confident that I just need more time for my muscle to heal up and relax on out. I’m up and down with my emotions, but I do see improvement and I have a great surgeon who’s made me feel better every step of the way. Even with COVID she’s added appointments for me to see her and track my progress! I’ll be back with another update I swear! Updated on 19 Aug 2020: And for clarity I did have a hematoma and I did NOT have it drained. I’m not sure what caused it, but it can be a precursor to contracture so that’s why we took so many steps to make sure we are healing it properly. Sorry about the dates!
TT and Lipo, I don't know where to start but this has been a great experience for me. My daughter and I inquired with many plastic surgeons but none measured up to Dr. Moffitt. The minute we contacted her office we knew she was the one to perform our surgeries. Everyone in the office is attentive to your needs, prompt with answers and solutions. I could not have chosen a better doctor. Crisy and Mo are the best with assisting Dr. Moffitt. Even when I endured a couple of things that were to be expected they handled everything immediately. I traveled from CT just to have my issue resolved. The many emails and texts were very comforting knowing that there was a knowledgeable and caring team waiting to help ease my worries. My daughters love them because they were eager to explain to them all that needed to be done. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. Love the ladies.
Dr. Moffitt is fantastic!!!! And her staff is fantastic!!!! I got an appt with no problem, she listened and completely understood my situation. I had implants that were almost 20 years old that I wanted replaced. She was super accommodating, friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. I had my surgery, and my new augmentation looks amazing. She did exactly what I needed. I highly recommend her! She is a wonderful doctor!
Well I'm still young 24, I have two kids and I gained way too much weight. I set a goal weight for 145 (pre pregnancy weight) I was weighing 190 at the time. I promised myself a boob job if I hit my goal, and I did! But I just needed a little extra help in a few areas. So I got a breast lift with implants and a mini tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks and abdomen. Updated on 9 Dec 2017: I’m 6 weeks post op, but I’m feeling very depressed on how my breasts look. I got a donut lift with 405cc implants. My breasts look exactly the same as before just bigger. My nipples are still low, my cleaveage is still far apart, my breasts still look saggy. I’m not feeling very good about this. I know it takes time, but I feel like they look awful, not what I pictured myself to look like at all.
At 5'6", 145lbs, with an athletic build, I wanted to even out my physique with a breast augmentation. I compete in bodybuilding and Crossfit so I had what I called a "ten pack" and have been nearly flat chested my entire life. There's no problem with that, I just wanted to even out my front to back. I spoke with a few surgeons prior to talking with Dr. Moffitt and never felt 100% comfortable in taking the leap. When I met with Dr. Moffitt I came home raving about her thoroughness, professionalism, and her ability to make me feel like this wasn't a silly decision. Within the first week of meeting her we made the decision to schedule the surgery. In the time before my pre-op appointment I e-mailed/called with any of the neurotic questions I had about weightlifting/recovery and the like. Charlotte, Mo, and Dr. Moffitt always responded within a few hours and assured me that nothing of what I asking was unreasonable or neurotic. I felt totally at ease going into the surgery and felt that Dr. Moffitt knew exactly what I wanted to accomplish! Surgery day comes and we reconfirm that our desired result was for a full C cup/small D cup. The understanding was that we went bigger rather than smaller since I have a very broad frame. Dr. Moffitt made me feel totally at ease with jokes and a full understanding of what I was going to expect immediately and in the following months. Knowledge is power. After surgery, I was in a lot of pain since my pecs were so tight from weightlifting but with ice/pain killers and adding some massage techniques (very lightly) the intense immediate pain subsided in a week. Don't get me wrong, I was sore for a while but was able to function like a moderately normal human being after about 1-1.5 weeks. Dr. Moffitt had given me a realistic time period for when I'd be able to work out again, saying consistently "your body will let you know when too much is too much." All in all, I was so happy with my experience and the fast communication that I've recommended Dr. Moffitt to several of my friends. I will continue to use her in the future for any cosmetic procedures I may have as I know I can depend on her for the following: Trust Knowledge/Information Great/Fast Communication Integrity Professionalism & FUN!
Pre-op appointment today. Nervous and excited at the same time. I have wanted this procedure for over 10 years now. I plan on going with saline under muscle with no lift. Was advised I would need at least 400cc's but we will see I guess. My husband is super supportive. He does not think I need them but understand why I want them. Updated on 19 Jul 2016: So anxious! I have 9 more days til my BA. I have my meds already. This site has been so helpful. I am on here 24/7 lol. Updated on 28 Jul 2016: Surgery went very well. I was so worried about the pain after but my nurses gave me a shot of Demoral before I left. I remember them starting the anesthesia in my IV then waking me up. No pain just pressure for now and even that is light. Oh and my chest feels tight. I haven't seen them yet just been sleeping a lot. My husband has been great taking care of me. Lol.... Dozing off as I write this post. Will post again later. Thanks for the well wishes. Can't believe I finally did it! Updated on 29 Jul 2016: Still feeling great with no pain just soreness and stiffnes. Been in and out of sleep still for the most part, sleeping better than I thought I would be able to. Trying to force a BM lol. Updated on 31 Jul 2016: I can't believe I really had no pain throughout this experience. Just swelling and stiffness. The compression bra has been the most uncomfortable thing so far. I am up and moving around pretty good. The swelling is still there and more so in the right? Stitches started itching really bad today. Each day they are getting softer. I can really tell if they have dropped at all, doesn't seem like it. Oh, had a small BM today yay!! Updated on 4 Aug 2016: So today makes exactly one week with my new additions. I have to say it was not love at first sight due to the swelling making them extra large lol. However, I am now in love with them. They are already soft and squishy, except first thing in the morning. I felt my first nerve zing yesterday and it made me scream out loud lol. Was really quick and the zingers after don't compare to the first. Only happened with my left breast though? Not on pains meds anymore just Motrin. I massage them a lot. First post op appointment is today. Seems like everyone else's first post op appt was sooner than mine. Can't wait to take the steri strips off and start using the silicone strips. Updated on 9 Aug 2016: No real changes except the steri strips came off now using silicone strips to help scars heal. They are very soft now and have dropped a lot! Still in love with them!
My experience with Dr. Moriah Moffitt was amazing!!! Her skill as a surgeon is excellent. I met with Dr. Moffitt and immediately knew she was the doctor I wanted to do my breast augmentation. Her energy and personality were spot on and combined with her expertise and artistic eye I could not be more pleased. It was so important to me that my results were aligned with my body frame and active lifestyle. She listened to what I wanted and together we came to the perfect size. Going into any surgery is nerve racking and her staff made me feel so comfortable and safe. Hallie, Carmen, Felecia and Mona were and continue to be absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend Dr. Moffitt and all of her staff at Landon Plastic Surgery to anyone and everyone!! 5 stars hands down!!!
Dr. Moffitt was recommended to me by a friend and I will be forever grateful. Her and her awesome nurse made the process so easy and comfortable. The office staff was also friendly and welcoming. I had a concern or two after surgery and she answered my e-mails almost immediately. I highly recommend her!
Hi! I am a 46 year old mom. I had breast augmentation after my last baby finished breast feeding (7 years ago). The first procedure was successful, but after about 6 years I felt that my chest didn't fit my body. I had originally opted for 350 cc. saline, but the doctor decided in surgery 400 cc. was the appropriate size. After 7 years, they had drooped quite a bit. I felt fat if I didn't have a bra on and was becoming uncomfortable with my self image. I am athletic and work out a lot and felt too big. I went and spoke with my doctor and decided that I wanted to switch to gel and have a lift done. I went to my original doctor, but felt he wasn't listening to what I was looking for. He suggested a lift with no switch in implants. The cost was cheap (about $5000), but he wanted to do it with no anesthesia. Just a sleeping pill the night before and one the morning of surgery (when that soaked in .. I thought no way). Updated on 9 May 2015: I had my surgery yesterday. So far so good. Pain is not bad at all. I was torn between going 300 cc or 325 cc. My doctor really listened to what I said and knew what I want so I am trusting her judgement. She ended with 371cc. Just wrapped in an ace bandage now. Icing all night. Tomorrow I get to take of the ace bandage. Happy Mother's Day to me! Very excited to see. Updated on 11 May 2015: quick update. I am three days post surgery and at work. Pain is minimal. Updated on 14 May 2015: I am on day six. Had my follow up yesterday and tape change. Everything is looking good. Next doctor will be three month follow-up. Want to be able to work out again, but am taking it easy for now. Updated on 21 May 2015: Hi ladies - updating. I am two weeks post surgery tomorrow and yes, I am going to a beach weekend to see Flo Rida with my man this weekend. I live in Florida so that means bathing suit and would you believe I can actually wear a suit already. Scars healing great and I just got two new suits. I am so excited that I could put a triangle top on without having my neck hurt or have supports that could hold the girls. Happy girl.
Hi, Robinbrock! The weight (if any) that you would lose from these surgeries is very minimal. These surgeries should only be considered for aesthetically improving the areas of concern, not for weight loss. It is always best to be closest to or at your goal weight before having these surgeries performed so you can achieve the best results. Hope this helps! Good luck :)Moriah R. Moffitt, M.D.
Hello,It looks as if your implants are still riding a little high which is why your nipples are pointing downward. This is totally normal at only 3 weeks out. Give it more time and your implants should "drop" and settle in. Way too early to be concerned. Ask your surgeon about massaging your breasts in the mean time. Good luck!Moriah R. Moffitt, M.D.
Thank you for your question!Cohesive silicone gel implants are meant to withstand the normal human body temperatures. If your body temperature is within the normal range there is absolutely no need to worry about the integrity of the implant. Since the implant is located inside of your body, the outside temperature would not effect the implant itself. Moriah Moffitt, MD
It looks as if your nipples sit a little low on your breasts. With just getting implants you may be happy with the fullness however, you may be unhappy with the position of your nipples and/or extra skin. Hope this helps. Best of luck!
By the looks of the pictures you submitted, you look like a great candidate for a tummy tuck to remove the extra skin from the abdomen area and tighten your abdominal muscles. As for your breasts, you have options. You could get by with just a lift depending on the look you're going for. If you're desiring more fuller looking breasts, you may want to think about adding an implant for upper pole fullness along with a lift. A physical exam with a board certified plastic surgeon will help you determine what is best for you and your expectations. Good luck! :)
