Incredible doctor. I had a phenomenal lip lift but I want to warn people about a brow lift. Do your due diligence. Ask the right questions. I went in for a consult for a Bleph and he said I was a candidate for a brow lift as well. I have regretted it since day one. It’s now been 7 months and I am trying sooooo hard to be patient for it to settle. But it’s become apparent it completely changed my look. I HATE photos of myself now. I had Botox trying to settle it. And worst of all I used to look 5 years younger than my actual age and in the last 6 months have been called old! My self esteem has really crashed. Mascaro is a great doc. love love my lips. Referred many friends to him…:: But I wish I had slowed down and just did the Bleph that I thought I needed and not this raised brow , tiny-old-lady-eye I am now dealing with. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Updated on 26 Apr 2025: I received a few messages about Mascaro- He is a really great doctor. Truly. Just really do your due diligence and ask the right questions. I wish I would have asked “Will this change the shape of my eyes? “ My almond shaped eyes were better than the shape of them now in my opinion, I don’t look bad, just different and I don’t photo well. Anyways- either the bleph made my eyes too hollow or the brow lift pulled horizontal and not enough on the sides so they just look more round and slanted downward than the almond like before. But I would still go back to Mascaro but next time be more direct with the outcome I am looking for. (Plus I also had another doctor virtually recommend I need a bleph which I thought was odd considering I had just done it!)

I’m three weeks post-op and love how I look! Dr. Mascaro performed three procedures on me: lip lift, earlobe reduction, and temporal tuck (eliminating droopy skin at my temples). Dr. Mascaro understood and flawlessly achieved exactly the result I wanted: to look like a believably better version of myself. As impressive as his surgical skill was the patient experience his staff provided from my very first contact. The surgical coordinator responded promptly to my every email—and I emailed her increasingly often as my surgery date approached. I flew in from out of state and needed to stay till the sutures were removed. His office gave me a list of nearby accommodations, from which I chose a reasonably priced and beautifully appointed Airbnb that offered a discount for his patients. In sum, I am wildly enthusiastic about Dr. Mascaro’s work and his attention to detail in every aspect of the experience!

I’m very pleased with the results of all three procedures—lip lift, earlobe reduction, and temporal tuck. I know that anybody reading this is wishing for pics, but I’m terrible at selfies and also didn’t take any “befores.” So this update is about my lip lift recovery experience. For reference, I’m 70 years old.

First, my appearance has continued to improve, especially in the last few weeks. Even at one month post-op, I felt like I still had a little swelling in my lower jaw area, although I think it was apparent only to me, and why would there be swelling that far from the surgical site anyway? I don’t know. I do know that I have my usual lower-face contour now. Also, now, at two-months post-op, my upper lip is slightly more sloped along the sides than it was earlier—again, probably perceptible only to me.

Second, I’m still not used to my new, fuller upper lip! It’s proportional to my other facial features and natural looking to me when I catch sight of my face in a mirror or store window. But I’m startled every time. Who’d have imagined that I’d need to mentally adjust to looking better??

Well worth the wait. For all the hype, Dr Mascaro deserves even more of it. I live in south Florida but travel to Tampa for my injections. I will make the hike for talent. When I asked my superstar injector at Elan who she recommends for a Blenheim, she said Dr Mascaro, without question. It just so happened he is in my backyard. When I sat down with him for my consult, I would’ve done anything he recommended. He insisted I only needed my eyes and a little spot under my chin addressed- the rest that I was asking for would be years down the road. My trust in him grew even stronger that day. My experience on surgery day far exceeded my expectations. Everything in the building is beautiful and calming. The staff is over the top when it comes to putting you at ease and ensuring you are comfortable. They even numbed my arm before the needle went in. At follow-ups, I was offered sparkling or still water- WHAT?!! Dr Mascaro’s results are so good, these extras aren’t necessary but he does it because that’s just who he is. I could not be more pleased with my results. Dare I say- I cannot wait to go back.

It took me a while to write this review, but better late than never! This surgery has made me look about 10 years younger. Dr. Mascaro is an excellent professional and I am 100% satisfied with my results! In the photo, it had only been seven days since the surgery. My recovery was very quick, and I think it took me about a month to look and speak completely naturally, as if I hadn’t gone through surgery. The only giveaway might have been every time I tried to smile, because at first, my teeth didn’t show completely. The area took a bit longer to regain normal mobility and elasticity. It took me approximately six months to be able to fully smile and show all my teeth again, just like before the surgery.

This surgery greatly improved my smile, making it look more natural, youthful, and less strained (before, I had to make a greater effort to show all my teeth). Over time, my lip has lowered a bit (though never as much as before the surgery), but I expected this because the doctor had mentioned it before the procedure.

I am grateful to Dr. Mascaro for the care I received. The doctor was very approachable throughout the entire process, and I was able to communicate with him directly whenever I had any questions during my recovery. I’ve read about people who choose to undergo the surgery again after several years since lips naturally thin over time. If I had to have this surgery again, I would definitely go back to Dr. Mascaro.

My experience with Dr.Mascaro has been more than amazing. He is such a skillful and gifted surgeon and he also is such a nice, reachable and caring person. He is there for his patients, very careful and he would never advise you to do something he does not think you need. He also tells you what to expect and he is 100% trustworthy. He does his art without leaving any visible traces, which means you cannot see scars and at the same time he makes you look so much better. To me he is the best in his field and I only trust him when it comes to surgery on my face!

I had a forehead reduction combined with brow lift with Dr Mascaro. The result is incredible, what scar? I don’t see it! It looks super natural too :) I had a lip lift with a different surgeon, my scar didn’t heal as well, i had to do multiple steroid injections to bring that scar down, when i asked that surgeon what else needed to be done to improve my features he said a forehead reduction, but he’s scared to do anything else on me because I don’t scar well, and i did appreciate his honesty. That’s when i did more research and found out about dr Mascaro, who is a wizard when it comes to stitching, and yup, did his magic on my forehead. My husband says I look half my age now. 100% recommend. The staff is really friendly as well, everyone made you feel welcome. Lauren was really friendly too, i had so many back and forth emails with her for dates changed, questions, etc and answers were quick and well organized.

Also, Mascaro is an honest dr who isn’t trying to gauge your money, he will tell you if you don’t need a procedure. I initially wanted to do a corner lip lift with the forehead reduction and he told me if i was his little sister, he would tell me not to do the corner lift.

I recently had Dr Mascaro perform a deep plane facelift, upper blepharoplasty, lower eyelid skin pinch and earlobes to repair previous piercings.

The experience from consultation, surgery and postoperative appointments were flawless. I am ecstatic with my results. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. It continues to get better every day.

Dr. Mascaro is a gifted surgeon and a fantastic human. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering any facial procedures to see this surgeon.

My lip lift overall improved my symmetry and made my lips prettier. I did want to post so people have reasonable expectations. I was in love with my lips 3 months after. Six months after, not as much. Be wary of "afters" that are right after or even a month after. It takes awhile but the drop happens. The first pic is after 3 months and the second is as of today, 6 months out. Hoping it'll stop dropping. As it is, I kind of already want another one.

I want to share some photos of my process because I did not find many out there when I was researching the procedure. Such a big difference! I got very self conscious with my kids always saying that I looked angry when I really was not and taking pictures of my resting b*^ch face.
It took a while to make the decision, mostly because I was scared of the scarring. I was afraid the type of lift that I needed required the dreaded joker incisions... and it did! Some lucky people can get away with incisions just at the corner but unfortunately I was not one of them.
Dr. Mascaro´s work is impeccable! It really does not get any better than than! However, for as pencil thin as the incisions are, they are pretty visible in person. Mainly because they are smack in the middle of your face! I thought makeup would completely cover them but it does not. The foundation, or whatever product you use, gets into the small indentation of the incision and shows it even more in my opinion. I tried using some thick primer to see if I could fill it in and then apply the foundation but it did not work out for me. After some research I found Dermaflage, which is a silicone based product used to create special effects in makeup for movies. I tried it with some reservation because some people said it was hard to apply but it was actually pretty easy for me and it works very well to fill in the scar with only a tiny spec of product is needed. I will be using it when going to the office or going out with people that don´t know I had this procedure done.
After a couple of months we will see if CO2 laser treatment is needed to fade the scar. So far, everything is healing perfectly. Apart from the scar, there are a few small bumps from the internal sutures that will take a couple of months to dissolve. It´s hard to tell they are there unless you touch them.

7 months post op and 3 or 4 CO2 treatments after. I’m still happy with the results on the shape of the lips but not with the scar. Although it’s definitely faded and not as indented, it’s far from not visible to people. Sucks to have to explain why they are there or see people glancing. Going for another CO2 treatment tomorrow. Hopefully can scars can get to the point of being completely flat. Not sure if maybe a bit of collagen or something g that stimulates collagen production injected to the area would help…
