I had an outstanding experience at 5th Avenue Plastic Surgery with Dr. Miguel Mascaro. I started with a remote consultation and, a month before surgery, decided to come in to meet him in person. I was offered several options for an in-person consult and felt completely confident after the visit. The care throughout was exceptional and gave me the reassurance that I needed that I was in good hands. When I left after that in person consult I knew Dr. Mascaro was the correct choice for me; he was attentive and calming yet confident, which was what I needed.
The staff, nurses, and care team were knowledgeable and reassuring, taking all my questions seriously. The day of surgery went perfectly, and Dr. Mascaro reassured me that everything would be great. Dr. Mascaro and his team were incredibly responsive before and after the procedure—emails, phone messages, text messages, and even DMs to Dr. Mascaro himself were promptly addressed.
A special shout-out to Haley, my day-of-surgery nurse, and Michelle, the overnight nurse, who were both fantastic. I woke up at 3:00 am in the overnight stay and Michelle was incredibly patient, providing extra meds and sitting with me until I slept again, then helping me get prepared to go home, even washing my hair! She truly made my experience the best it could have been. The team called me the first 3-4 days everyday to make sure I was doing great.
During all of my follow-up visits, red light therapy, and hyperbaric chamber appointments, everyone knew who I was and exactly what I had done and where I was in my recovery. I was so impressed that every time I walked in, I was greeted by name. Every time I was with Dr. Mascaro, my questions and concerns were answered and I was never made to feel like I was asking silly questions or that my concerns were unfounded.
I am 3 months out from my surgery and I could not be happier with my results. If you’re considering plastic surgery with Dr. Mascaro, I highly recommend him and his amazing skills, and this practice for the professionalism, responsiveness, and genuinely caring staff.
