My experience was great! Dr. Lin was professional in explaining to me about the treatment I wanted. He knew I was nervous and he made me feel comfortable, this was my first time getting fillers. The staff was welcoming. I would recommend him if you’re looking for dermatologists who care about his patients.
When I called in, they were able to squeeze me in with an appointment right away. The office was clean and not too crowded. The ladies at the front were friendly and helpful when I had questions about insurance. Dr. Lin was very thorough and went through all my options. He helped me move forward with an educated decision. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lin to my family and friends.
I've been struggling with my rolling acne scars for years. I've spent so much money on treatments that made very little difference. I was fortunate enough to meet Dr Michael Lin who suggested we treat my skin with bellafill. I'm so glad I found him and followed through. It has been four days and my scars are barely noticeable. It honestly is a miracle! I recommend this doctor and this treatment to anyone that struggles with acne scars or even for any aesthetic needs. Couldn't be happier with these results.
I've had acne scars since I was in my late teens and I'm 35 now. They have always bothered me and I've always been self conscious about them. Bellafill has completely transformed my scars and I couldn't me happier. There's no more holes or crevices in my cheeks or chin. Dr. Lin and his physician assistant were very kind and listened to my concerns.
DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! Linage is just around the corner from my office and they have great specials for laser treatments, so I decided to give it a shot. I called the office about the Groupon and they encouraged me to not purchase it, but rather come in and they would honor the price. I'm told that this way they don't pay the marketing fees and you can get an appointment faster. Ok, easy enough. The staff is nice and I received the treatment that was supposed to cost $169 for one treatment, and had a few small scars from a gallbladder surgery lasered as well. I was initially told on the phone that if I purchased the package that they would likely just do them for free since they were so small, but when I got there they told me it would be an additional $99. I didn't like that it felt like a bait and switch but I have no problem paying for services as long as they are upfront about it and it wasn't that much so I agreed. What shocked me was that the price I ended up paying wasn't for the package that I was expecting thru the Groupon, but rather for ONE treatment which came to $474! The numbers just weren't adding up when I received my invoice via email later that day so I sent Dr. Lin an email with the ad that clearly showed it was $169 for one treatment, $319 for two, and four for $519. My intention was to have all four even though they decided to charge me extra for zapping the gallbladder scars. He was very nice and told me that they get lots of customers that want a deal and that the higher levels are more expensive and I pointed out that there was nothing in the ad that had different prices for different levels which he said they have since updated. In any case, he agreed that it was a misunderstanding and offered to credit me part of the cost. They sent me an updated invoice the same day showing the adjustment, but never credited my card for the difference! After going through what felt like a total bait and switch and then thinking that it was resolved they still OVERCHARGED me. Please go to their BBB complaints online and read the legit reviews from both offices before going here. Buyer beware!
I have deep acne scars on my cheeks (pitted) that I've been wanting to get treated for some time -- I tried 9 sessions of the Clear & Brilliant laser (which helped polish my skin and helped my acne but did NOTHING for my scarring) and an intense pixel laser treatment (did not see very dramatic results). I'm 25, no wrinkles, and have very fair skin. Today I got the Matrix laser treatment (essentially the same thing as the Fraxel co2 but with a different brand name). The intensity was 3 (out of 4), which is VERY intense. Cost was $1200 for one session, and Dr. Lin promised I would see pretty significant improvement in the depth of my scars (apparently doing the level 3 treatment is like doing the level 2 five times, according to him). He focused the level 3 on my deep scars and blended with the rest of my face with a level 2 and then 1 for the areas where I had no scarring. I really appreciated how smart, down to earth, and precise Dr. Lin was. No [RS bleep], and I really trusted him (even though I found him on Groupon, lol). He's also a medical doctor who owns his own practice outside of cosmetic services, treating patients with skin cancer and other issues. For him, cosmetic stuff was more of a hobby -- and I definitely appreciated that about him and felt like he knew what he was doing. Before the procedure he used the numbing cream on my face, then also injected me with numbing stuff (similar to novicane at the dentist). It definitely hurt (especially after) but was not unbearable. Pain killers definitely helped too. I am very excited to see my skin's progress as it scabs and then heals. I hope this has the kind of significant effects the doctor said I should expect. Will keep updating. Updated on 10 Jul 2016: I got the procedure done on Wednesday. It's now Sunday night and I am still VERY red, with noticeable scars. I'm not concerned because I was warned by Dr. Lin that healing would take quite a bit longer with the level 3 Matrix treatment. Hopefully I'll be getting what I paid for.... (the level 2 was only $370 in comparison to the $1200 I paid for level 3). These photos were taken Friday and Saturday night, respectively. Today was the first day I woke up with my skin looking a little better instead of worse. Updated on 4 Aug 2016: Hey guys! I'm 24 days post now -- my skin is still red (specifically on the cheeks) with track marks from the laser, but the texture is mostly normal and I can cover it with concealer and powder foundation. I'm not sure about the results yet and think it's really too soon to say. Just ready for my skin to not be red anymore. The healing process so far has lined up with what Dr. Lin told me I might expect. Updated on 29 Jan 2017: Hey guys, sorry for not posting in awhile. It took about a month (if not longer) for the redness to fade from my face. 6 months post, I can see no obvious difference in my scarring :/ Onto the next treatment...
Based on your photos, I see irregular texture and pigmentation. I recommend starting with some filler like Volbella, which can be injected very close to the surface of the eyelid to improve the texture. You may need some bleaching cream, chemical peels, and fractional laser resurfacing to improve the pigmentation.
First, schedule an appointment with your dermatologist to make sure there isn't a medical reason for your hair loss. Also, take a vitamin supplement with Biotin, and use a topical solution or foam with Minoxidil.
Lemon juice contains Citric Acid which is an alpha hydroxy acid similar to those used in chemical peels that we use in the office. Please watch my Question and Answer videos for more skincare tips!
You should be fine to change out your wet pads and replace it with new pads. I suggest keeping the garment on as instructed by your surgeon until the 48 hours has passed.
