Words cannot express what Prof. Dr. Yazar did to me and my life. I am sure if you are reading this, you do know how bad a nose can impact your life. Thus, now I feel I have my life back, and I can forget about my strong trauma. I had a primary rhinoplasty in Germany to make some minor changes to my bulbous tip. I have had my nose operated o few times before and have never seen the desired result, in fact: the previous operations made me breathe worse due to thickening of scar tissue. By doing good research through social media, I came across Dr. Memet Yazar, the main reason being that he is an ENT doctor and specializes in revision noses. This was a requirement for me in finding a good doctor. In September of 2022 I came by for a consultation. The time that Dr. Memet took was incredibly nice for me, he took an hour for me in which he answered questions and within no time he also photoshopped my nose via an app on his phone with the expected result. Let me be clear that Dr. Memet was the first doctor who spent so much time and attention on a consultation and also with a photoshopped image of my nose..! When scheduling an appointment, I have been in close contact with the doctor's assistant, Ms. Yildiz. She prepared me step by step for the operation. She also answered questions I had in no time. Never felt like I was burdening her with all the questions I had. Six months later, the time had come, the operation. Prior to this I first had an injection with steroids in my nose because I have thick skin, to limit the growth of the skin of my nose. This method is hardly used anywhere because it is unknown to many doctors. On the day of the operation, I was met in the hospital by Ms. Yildiz, the reason being that she wants to make sure that everything goes smoothly that day and that makes the tension of the operation a lot less. You will then be taken to your room and given instructions on what to expect. Taking blood, signing agreements about what to expect of the operation, dr. Memet also came by to check how I was doing and again explained what he would do during the operation. I have thick skin with fibrosis that would be removed, also cartilage would be taken from my ribcage just below my chest to be used in my nose. Then I was transported in the hospital bed to the operating room and after a 5 hour operation I awoke without pain from my anesthesia. I had no pain or swelling during the entire repair! And that was something new for me because I always turned black and blue during my previous operations. As a result, the recovery period on average took much longer than usual. The reason I came out so well is because Dr. Memet operated on me very delicately. With refined and innovative techniques that he has applied and his own designed tools. Thanks to his expertise, I had a very pleasant recovery period. The hospital was very clean and nice. The nurses checked me every hour after the operation, whether all blood values were good and I also got something to eat and drink there. After a day I was already allowed to go home. And on day three I was allowed to visit Dr. Memet, he checked my nose and changed bandages. On day 7 the hard cover of my nose was removed and as well for the stitches and I got a small bandage on my nose. And on day 10 I went for a final check and got another shot with steroids in my nose before I flew back to my own country. When it comes to aftercare, it is often the case that you are not asked about it.
