After years of struggling with low self-esteem, just getting out of bed was overwhelming each day from the weight on my chest. With my age and many health issues I procrastinated thinking no one would take a chance with me. Once I reached the decision to at least try I searched carefully online to find someone I thought I could trust and would take a chance to help me. After getting an appointment, she looks at me says she wasn't all in yet due to my health. My heart dropped! Quickly I told her if I passed from the surgery at least I lived my best life with all of my health conditions, and she could come to my funeral if she liked. She laughed at me and after a few minutes of eye-to-eye contact, she finally decided she would give me that chance to change my life and THAT SHE DID! Knowing she came from Florida (best doctors come from Florida) and her dad was also a surgeon I knew I had the right doctor! Her staff also was outstanding, caring and kind from the beginning to the end. The younger generation has no clue how a simple act of being kind to us older girls make all the difference in the world and Dr. Marks staff has the best young folk working for her! This highly skilled surgeon changed my life completely! I am a highly sensitive person but pain from the surgery itself was so very minimal, and more like a little uncomfortable. Today I can bounce down the stairs and move around so much better. Not only is she highly skilled but so compassionate, caring, funny and always has a smile. Just so you know. This doctor has ingrained in her soul the yearning to help others. She can't help it, and it won't ever change. Doctors like this are so far and few anymore! I can't say it enough! Dr. Melissa Houss Marks is the BEST surgeon.

She is the best! The office is super clean comfortable and she is always on time. She explains everything she is doing and doesn’t over do it. It looks natural, and it’s quick and painless! I love Dr. Marks!

I have had an 8 year battle with breast cancer with several cycles of treatments and interim success. At the end of one of the interim cycles I needed to find the right surgeon to “touch up” some of the previous reconstructive surgery. Dr. Marks was highly recommended by my breast surgeon so I decided to give her a try. It was one of those recommendations that you are grateful for forever. Dr. Melissa Marks is the sweetest doctor I’ve ever met! I got my face mole removed with her and the experience has been wonderful. She took her time to explain the procedure and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I’ve had this mole for over 20 years and the procedure took 10 minutes! Painless and I’m so happy with the results! Highly recommend!

I suffered a laceration to my right thumb that caused a partial tendon tear. I myself am a Surgeon and needed the best to repair it. Dr Melissa Marks was phenomenal! She was able to completely repair the injury and I have been doing great! She is one of a kind! Caring and a hidden gem in a world of surgeons that know how to market but don't know much about being a good surgeon. I highly recommend her!

When researching providers to perform my Botox injections, it was important to me that I had a board certified Plastic Surgeon administering them. I came across Dr. Melissa Marks' website and scheduled a consultation. From the time I walked into her office, I felt at ease. Her staff was welcoming and I felt like I was walking into a Spa, not a doctor's office. It was my first time doing any cosmetic procedure and I had a lot of questions and concerns. She took the time to address them all and ease my needle phobia! I set up an appointment for later that week, and her staff made the process easy and convenient for me. She was quick and gentle when administering the Botox and her esthetician Tammy was very kind and helpful during the process assuring me that it wouldn't hurt very much. Dr. Marks personally called me the following day to check on my progress, a really thoughtful service I did not expect. She made me feel comfortable and assured that if I had a question or concern she was available even though I just had injections. When I am ready for my next more permanent procedures, I will not let anyone else handle them as I know I will be in the best hands! My initial consultation was comforting. Dr. Marks assured me that my reconstructive surgery would be a breeze. I felt respected and relieved. I’m looking forward to a great surgery. I feel like I’m in good hands.

This has been a loooong time coming and now that I am a week away I am very nervous, I was told by my Dr that she will be using the free nipple graft technique which has me freaking out after looking at pictures online of the nipples after this technique is performed. Will upload before pics shortly I am currently at work. Updated on 21 Oct 2019: Here are a few before pics as you can see my boobs are clearly very large for my frame. I just reached out to the office of the surgeon to tell her my concerns about the free nipple method she is attempting to use , stay tuned Updated on 31 Oct 2019: I’m currently 3 days post op and I love the shape and the lift , I’m anxious to see how my nipples are going to look when the bolster get removed. The pain isn’t as bad as I expected, pain level is pretty controlled. My drains are doing well. Updated on 2 May 2020: I’m 6 months post op and I am completely unhappy. The method that was selected was the nipple graft and my nipples are now hideous and pink and raw looking. It was worst before but it healed up a little I am now looking into a 3D nipple tattoo.
