I had laser lipo, Botox, and microneedling with PRP on my face, neck and chest and I could not be happier with my overall results. my abdomen and waist are back to my physique I had in my 30's. My skin looks younger and the wrinkles are essentially gone. All of my friends have complimented me and cannot figure out why I look so refreshed and rested. I also have had recently an upper eyelid lift to look the age I feel, not the age I am. I am dating someone twenty years younger then my age and I definitely needed a refresher. I would recommend Dr Muecke to anyone. I had no discomfort or pain and I had minimal to no bruising. Thank you to Dr Muecke and her staff!!! I will be back for additional touchups to keep looking as good as i can.
The staff was very caring. Had my pre-op on 7/27/18 and surgery was 8/10/18. The surgery started at about 2pm & ended at about 5. I got 4 areas done: upper abs, lower abs, waist and back & bra rolls. Although I did extensive research and read many reviews, I was suprised by the amount of pain during the procedure. I understood this to be a procedure with pain controlled by 1 Xanax and 1 hydrocodone and injected tumescent (numbing) fluid. I was unprepared for the amount of overwhelming pain I felt to the point of tears & shaking. Dr. Muecke was very comforting and told me what she was doing every step of the way and the nursing staff was calming also by holding my hand and rubbing my head. My favorite music played in the background & I sung as the pain would be unbearable. At about 5, when the procedure was over, I was walked to a room and fitted with a fitted garment with hook & eye closure in the front on top, and a Velcro waist binder covering below my bust to my pubic area which I was told to wear for 23 hours a day only taken off to be laundered daily. My painkiller was wearing off (they gave it to me at noon) on the 45 minute car ride home, so I took another pill as soon as I got home. After about n hour, the pain did not subside. I changed the maxi pads that were taped to my body to soak up the blood & fluids draining from the pinhole incisions. I ate some dinner bf the pain was still on 10, so I took another painkiller. I ended up frustrated and I tears, overwhelmed by pain, not being able to find comfort from sitting or laying, I just stood and cried. I didn’t expect this. I finally dozed off sitting up on the couch. After about an hour, I decided to get up and get ready for bed. We changed the pads again and I got sick and threw up my dinner and probably other meds. I went to bed after taking a anti-nausea pill and another painkiller. I woke up at night and took painkillers at 3 & 7am. Updated on 13 Aug 2018: Have to wash Garment and binder daily but at least the bleeding from the incision is has stopped. Feeling much better the most difficult part is getting in and out of bed or up and down from sitting to standing. Have only been taking the pain pills at night because it is hard to get comfortable and sleep Can’t wait for my post op appointment on Friday so I can get a new garment that will look smoother under clothes. Having to wash and dry the binder I have now is getting annoying because I have to wait 90 minutes every day for the laundry before I can get dressed and do anything and it looks very lumpy under clothes so I haven’t really been able to leave my house except for a few errands because I don’t have nothing to wear. I am making sure I am doing a lot of walking at home and light housework I still managed to get 9000 steps one day! I have to go back to work next Tuesday and I can’t wait to see what I am able to wear to work.
Dr.. Muecke was excellent. I was extremely nervous during the pre-op exam and when she came in and starting talking to me, she was down to earth and positive. She made me comfortable which made it easy to continue with the procedure. The day of the procedure she was still the same nice sweet positive person. During the procedure she talked to me and helped me relax. She told me what to expect and she was right on the mark. It's only been two days and I see amazing results. The first 24hrs was just a lot of soreness and drainage, but after that I was good. By following Dr. Muecke instructions I know the end results will be amazing. I would definitely recommend Dr. Muecke because of her sensitive bedside manner and honesty. Thank you Dr. Muecke :) I am already recommending my friends. I look forward to seeing you again.
Reason I did it: Because no matter how much I tried to diet or exercise (the lil I did) my lil pooch would NOT go away. I looked at my friends who had babies and it looked like I HAD AT least 1 kid. I am soo satisfied and I am not even completely healed! That extra skin flapping over my pants and panties is GONE.Cost of procedure: $ 4700 if cash is paid and $5200 if you use a debit/credit cardWould I recommend this: Yes if you are tired of exercising. This procedure has been FDA approved and been out since 2006. I did A LOT of research and have read about minor problems. Most people go to a doctor that does not do a good job and they come out with lumpy skin. I personally believe wearing the girdle 24/7 afterwards plays a critical step in preventing that. Remember its only cosmetic surgery. I am not writing this to encourage or discourage you. Just do your research and don’t let anybody discourage you. It’s your body, and your money. Do what YOU want with it. Just do the research first! J The only reason I am writing and POSTING this is to share my progress because out of all the research I did I only came across a hand full of our people who actually did it. Color has nothing to do with it or the results but…..umm let me leave that alone. JPre- Op: I was given some prescriptions to get fill to begin taking some meds b/f the surgery. I was also given a pack of vitamins named Vita Medica to begin taking. I must admit I was not consistent with taking the pills because I was still in pain from getting my wisdom tooth removed.Day of the surgery: I was getting very nervous. I asked a female (black) on YouTube about her procedure and all she responded with was save your money. I was like WTH? If you say something like that more details should follow. So that almost made me reconsider my decision. So I went in to the procedure room and the doc made about 6 small incisions on the sides of my stomach area. I was filled with fluid that was to numb me up really good before the actual doctor would begin the suctioning. That is about the worst part of the whole procedure. After the fluid starts numbing you, you just get this uncomfortable feeling. The funny feeling is due to your stomach blowing up like a balloon. You can actually fill some of the fluid leaking out of the incisions. YUCK!Dr. Mickie (nickname) began the procedure and made it very relaxing. She talked to me, fed me crackers and PowerAde in between. The reason for the feeding was because I didn’t eat a full breakfast b4. My appointment was 0900 and I had to wake up early to drive the long trip to her office. Anyway I was in there crying like a lil baby because I don’t take well to anything dealing with doctors or needles! When I got my wisdom tooth pulled they had to spray som numbing spray on my arm to get me to calm down so they could get the IV started to put me to sleep. Anyway it was a not alot of unbearable pain but I felt the vibrations and pressure of the suctioning. I started stressing because I did too much research on the procedure and I knew exactly what was going on. I had an image in my head of her sticking the laser in and out of me melting the fat and the fat running through the tubes to the liter. I know… CRAZY! I guess it was my nerves. So the procedure took about 3-4 hours and she took out 3 ½ liters of fat out of me. YUCK. She said I had the most fat around my belly button. After they finished she wrapped me up real good but I still bleed through my gray sweats. I was scheduled to return in 2 days so she could take off all the wrapping/ bandages.Night (After Surgery): There is no need to spend the night in the hospital or anything but you will need someone to drive you home. Don’t believe what they say on YouTube. You will NOT be able to do this on your lunch break. Mess around and get fired. LOL. Anyway that night I was drinking a lot of vitamin water, PowerAde and Gatorade as instructed by the doctor. I messed up and ate an ice cream stick and chicken noodles and threw it up. Yeah it was very stupid of me. When it was time to sleep, I couldn’t lie down, I feel asleep leaning on the headboard. If you normally sleep on your stomach…4 get it!Day 1 (After Surgery): I spent it mostly at home and just relaxed. I did drive. It was hard to stand up straight and sit for long. I had to take a “wash up” because I couldn’t shower until she removed the bandages. They didn’t want me to remove them myself because it common for people to pass out after the bandages are removed.Day 2: I returned to my appointment and she took off the bandages and that dried up blood smell was overwhelming. I wanted to pass out from that sticky azz tape she was struggling to get off! After she finished and dressed me up she gave me some instructions and sent me on my way.Day 3-6: OMG, I can see a BIG difference. I am sooooo happy I took my own b4 pictures because the pictures prove it all. My stomach feels REALY funny. It’s this spongy like feeling. I can feel the tightening process going on too. Wearing the girdle helps you not to think or feel that funny feeling. The extra fluid I guess has settled down in my vagina area. So it’s sitting on swole, lol! When I say that I mean it. Its unbelievable how big your vagina area gets.Day 7: I returned from yet another appointment and she stated that I am healing great. I told her that I am happy with the results so far and she said oh sweetie you are still swollen. You will be seeing A LOT more results. She said my waist hasn’t even begun to show because of the swelling. She said give it about week 3 b4 seeing any major results.Day 8: I can maneuver a lot better now but I am still swollen. Its not that much uncomfortable anymore. I no longer feel like an 80-year-old woman trying to get out of the bed and car and I got a lil more “pep” in my step as my 86-year-old granddad said. LOL. I will continue to post updates. I will try to post the next one at the beginning or end of week 3.Overall, I am VERY happy and positive about the results. Updated on 6 Mar 2010: 06 March 2010: So I got my smart lipo update on 22 Feb. The procedure was free but I had to pay $500 for use of the equipment. She did a touch up on my belly button and my sides. I am still swollen but I am DEFINTELY seeing a great difference now. I cant wait to see the final results. Still looking good and LOVING it! So worth it! Updated on 10 Dec 2012: My update a couple of years later with NO exercising! This was WELL WORTH it! Updated on 10 Feb 2014: Dang time has passed really fast! I know some are probably tried of my updates but some will appreciate them :) It has been 4 years since my first smart lipo and I am STILL loving it! The best decision I ever made. I wish I would have gotten the fat on my bra rolls done at the same time. Anyway the scars are still visible as you can see from the picture..after 4 years! I knoww right, lol....but then again I have not done anything to assist in fading them. I just wanted to post this update to say that I do not exercise at all and after 4 years my results are still good. So if you are lazy like me and thinking of getting it it done I would recommend it! :) Let me know how your results come out. :)

She reduced my earlobes and dropped the #4 or #14 scapel and had to lazer the other ear lobe and it was too much. Now I have one small ear with scar tissue and a normal ear. She was late to surgery and was rushed. It was an in office procedure. Cost $1,000. cash.
I’m inspired to write this as I’m recovering from my second revision surgery after Dr. Muecke botched my initial septoplasty/rhinoplasty about 20 years ago. She left me with no support in my nose and it appears very scooped out, asymmetrical, unnatural and unattractive. My second surgeon tried to repair her damage (calling it one of the most overly aggressive rhinoplasties he’d ever seen). He used cadaver cartilage to rebuild the support that had been lost but it ultimately failed. I’m now recovering from my second revision in which another surgeon is used my rib and ear cartilage to try to rebuild yet again. The time, pain, living 20 years with noses that never fit my face, and the huge expense (about 30k in revision fees at this point) has been a nightmare. Her ethics are atrocious as well, as other reviewers have touched on, and others still that I won’t mention here. Please, please stay away from this surgeon. Anyone else would do a better job for what ever procedure you’re considering.
horrible, just horrible...I could smell alcohol, and she was late, rude to everyone, told me if I paid cash it would be cheaper...HUMMMMMM I read all the reviews and thought I would see what she was like, well I found out real fast to run away as fast as I could
She is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PHYSICIAL i have every met, while I was having surgery she was doing everything but pay attention to the surgery she was doing. She brings her dog into the surgical area, she treats her staff horrible. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND her to cut my toenails, let alone do Lasix on anyone
I am so glad I decided to put my old face in Maureen's hands. I haven't been able to put any colored lipstick on my lips for years. Every time I did, it looked like I was injured due to the lipstick piling up in the wrinkles around my lips. I have been thrilled ever since I left with my new face. :) I just put RED lipstick on my beautiful young looking lips and all I can say is WOW! These lips were never so pretty. I am so glad I decided to do the botox and the filler. The best Christmas present I ever gave myself. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year All.
