A Brazilian Butt Lift (or BBL), in which excess fat is harvested via liposuction and grafted to the butt, is the quintessential procedure to create an hourglass figure. A BBL produces excellent results, both in terms of shaping the buttocks and increasing their volume. This type of fat transfer consists of removing unwanted fat from an area like the stomach, love handles, or thighs and safely injecting it into the butt and/or hips, to create the desired contours. This combination is the gold standard in butt augmentation, and it’s one I perform frequently for my patients in Southern California, in my Newport Beach and Upland practices.

While many people believe that breast augmentation is just enlarging the size of breasts with a silicone or saline implant, there is much more to it than that. A well-performed breast augmentation accentuates the breasts while also balancing the chest with the shoulders, stomach, hips, and butt to create or accentuate the “hourglass” appearance. The size, shape, type, and placement of your implants will be unique to your body and the end result you are trying to create. I provide my patients with a wealth of information detailing the difference between each implant and how aspects like the volume, profile, or projection of the implant will affect their outcome to help craft the look that is best for each individual.

I’ve been seeing Trish Coronel RN for several years now, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Botox, fillers, or microneedling. She’s incredibly skilled and truly cares about her clients. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Nykiel and his team from the consultation to pre-op and post-op appointments. I got my breast augmentation in June 2025 & I am so happy with my results.
