So here is my bellybutton. I am so pleased with how this turned out and I know I’ll love it even more after the redness of the scar fades. I have seen horrible bellybuttons from other plastic surgeons. This was my main reason for choosing Dr. Eberbach. Also know your Dr. cannot move your bellybutton with a regular tummy tuck. It is where it is. They have to keep it there. They can only attach your skin to where it currently is. So if you don’t like where it is I think that would be something you need to talk to your Dr. about. Maybe they can move it but I think the surgery would be much more extensive.

So is the belly button stiches in a circle around the belly button? Does those scars totally fade? I still have my scar from belly piercing and thinking around the belly button would be worse then piercing scar. Thoughts?

There are no stitch marks. They must be internal. I'm sure there will be a thin white line of a scar but you have to take into consideration to all that was done. If your bothered by a belly button piercing scar. This is probably not the surgery for you. For me the before and after was totally worth it. Scars and all.

I had a lot of loose skin that they removed and they needed to pull the skin in more. Not everyone needs that done. I did.

Thank you for your helpful information. Your first week would you say the pain was manageable? Could you get around on your own if you had a lift recliner. I’m hoping not to need much help. Did you ever get upset when you saw the incision and questioned it? It loooks so great. When could you stand straight?

I could get aroung on my own and needed very little help. I didn't have a lift recliner but I do have a power recliner that I slept in for the first few weeks. I could bet up and out of it on my own. The pain was totally managable. I slept a lot the first week. I was not upset by the scars. The central one will be covered by pubic hair and I think after the redness goes away the scars themselves won't be very noticable. In a bathing suit you won't see the scars anyway they are under the bikini line. I am very happy with the outcome. It took about a week to be able to stand up almost completely straight.

I have to admit I hate wearing compression anything. I found that the high waisted compression leggings work out the best for me. Much better than a waist trainer. I wasnt very good at aligning the velcro ends evenly anyway.

Healing great ! I noticed there was marking for a 500 cc implant & 560 cc . It looks like the 500 cc was put in the smaller breast . Was that the intent ? I know you are still healing . Mine are 2 different sizes also so curious this .

One is 500cc the other is 510cc because of of my boobs is bigger than the other so I assume they are trying to even them out.

I feel great and the majority of my swelling is gone. I love how it turned out. My bellybutton was my biggest worry and it’s beautiful.

Thank you! The only time you can see the scarring is when I'm naked. I've been married forever and he thinks it turned out fantastic that makes me a happy girl! Lol!
