WORTH IT
Today was my first day. I had surgery this morning at 7am. Now after sleeping most of the day I’m up, alert and awake. I have very little pain. (I am taking my pain meds) The only time it hurts is when I get up to do my walking. I don’t have drain tubes and I feel I have very little bruising. I can’t get over how good I feel considering all that I had done. Breast Implant removal and new ones placed, tummy tuck, and flank liposuction. I go back in August for my thigh liposuction.

I honestly don't know. I will ask my doctor at my next appointment. I would think it's because of excess skin. I know the tummy tuck helped lift my leg skin as well. I'll get back with you on a more exact answer.

Did you also have muscle repair with the TT?

You look FANTASTIC!! I’m 17 days post op. I had a TT, lipo, and fat grafting to hips and buttocks. I’m very happy with my results as well, but only started feeling better after 2 wks. The swelling and tightness is still very uncomfortable. How soon afterwards did the swelling go away for you? And do you recommend doing anything for it to subside?

Walking will help with the tightness and wearing compression definitely helps with the swelling. I was very swollen for about 3 and a half weeks. Then it started to go down. It took me about 4 weeks to actually stand up straight and feel ok with it. I’m so glad your happy!! That’s what it all about!!

Some of the swelling is already evening out. Today was actually the most painful so far. I think I was still a little goofy from the anesthesia. Helping to dull the pain. I can’t wait until I can stand up straight. I’m so happy already with the results so far!

Day 3

3 days after surgery I am able to move more. I am going to be happy when I can stand straight though.I was told I could leave the binder off but after reading others I have decided to leave it on. I don’t have any drains but I do have some uneven swelling and read the binder will help even that out.
