Dr. Keith Hanna, a board-certified plastic surgeon, graduated cum laude from Clemson University before obtaining his medical degree with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee–Memphis, followed by a distinguished plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University. Additionally, he was invited to join Paces Plastic Surgery for a prestigious fellowship in cosmetic and oculoplastic surgery, where he received intensive training from globally recognized experts.
He was respectful, had great communication and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr. Hanna is amazing. I have referred all of my friends and family to him. I will continue to see him for any of my cosmetic needs.
I have PCOS and ALL of my weight would go to my stomach my entire life. I didn't have the recovery time to do a TT, so I opted for abdominal and chin lipo. Dr. Hanna at Marietta Plastic Surgery did an excellent job on the lipo! The pain after surgery was super intense for a couple of hours, but then I was mostly fine except some soreness and bruising. The swelling would come and go based on my activity level, but pretty much went down after 6-8 weeks. Such a noticeable difference and I can feel the amazing difference every day!!
Since I’ve been a young girl I always wanted to have bigger breasts. I can remember I used to stuff tissue in my breast and buy fake inserts to make the appearance of big breast. But now as I pay attention to my sisters who have big breast facts I was so annoyed. Before my birthday last month I realized that I want to do something for me and my breast was a birthday gift to myself I can’t really tell if they look how I desired them however I know as of today is day one of surgery I got a little bit more time to discover that. Here are some before pictures of me and also some with pictures that I wish my breast look like. Updated on 18 Jun 2021: So today I went in the office and met with Dr. Hannah for my one week postop. I cannot believe just this last Thursday I went in to have a procedure I always wanted. Everyone at the office from the beginning to today have been absolutely amazing. What I really appreciate about my experience is the care, patience, and opportunity two ask as many questions as I needed to make me feel comfortable about my procedure. Now on to the good stuff. I am feeling much more comfortable with my implants than I did on the second day. I will be honest I was in a lot of pain and I felt like they were not big at all, however now after a few days I can see the potential for my newbies. Let’s be clear they’re definitely bigger than they were before (see below of the size I had prior to surgery). I’m going to do my best to make sure I keep you all updated on my journey. Updated on 29 Jun 2021: My dominant side is dropping more than the other which is to be expected. I’m so happy with my decision and love seeing my results daily. At my next appointment (1mth) I plan to purchase a little bit more comfortable bras. This is a snippet of my progress and my scars. Updated on 9 Aug 2021: Tomorrow marks 2months since my BA. I’ve been so satisfied thus far. The way shirts fit me is phenomenal. I’m looking forward to them getting a little softer, but other than that no issues thus far. Updated on 6 Dec 2021: It has been six months and I totally feel like my girls are a part of me. I am still forever happy I decided to move forward with the surgery. Thankfully I haven’t had any complications that’s far, and hoping it remains the same. As of now I feel them bounce more, LOL they feel really natural and all of my sensation has returned. When my husband and I were active early on I could not feel this kisses, but what time I can honestly say I have all sensation!
I am 54 years old. I had tumescent liposuction on my inner and outer thighs as well as my inn knees. I had BodyTite on my upper knees. This is before the procedure and 16 days later. I was initially very discouraged with terrible swelling and bruising. I can see some positive early results. Hopefully I will continue to improve
I had my surgery at Marietta Plastic Surgery. My entire experience from my consultation all the way to today, 1 month post op, has been everything I could have possibly hoped for! I've never felt moved to go out of my way to write a review before, but this experience has merited 5 stars. I live in Denver, but decided to have my surgery in Marietta, GA. Luckily, I have family in the area. Dr. Hanna and my outstanding patient coordinator, Kelsey, happily worked with me over the phone for my consultation and booking surgery. I flew to Atlanta for my pre-op, where I met Dr.Hanna and was able to use the Vectra 3D machine. This machine took a 180 degree photo of my upper body. The nurse (also fantastic) was able to print out before and "after" photos with this Vectra technology. I will attach those photos! Previous consultations that I went to in Denver did not have this technology and provided me with a tank top and rice bags... not the same affect. I was also able to try on actual implants at MPS identical to the ones I have now! In addition, my surgery was more than $3000 cheaper at MPS than previous consultations in Denver. Dr. Hanna used 300cc high profile silicone gel Mentor implants. They are teardrop shaped, and under the muscle. I am 5'2 and weigh 102-108. As you can see from my before picture, I had very little breast tissue. I am 28 inches around in the way that Victoria's Secret measures, so it's always been hard for me to find bras! I've never truly filled out the cup of a bra, there was always a gap between my skin and the cup. I feel like an entirely new person! Updated on 4 Oct 2016: I know realself really helped guide me through my surgery anxiety and curiosity so I thought I would add some more information on here! First- an update from my initial post-- I looked at the warranty card for my implants and the ones Dr. Hanna used were round, not tear drop! Sorry for the confusion. My Inscisions are in the fold of my breast. Sorry, I don't know the medical term! I can add pictures! I was told that I have internal stitches that will dissolve, and the skin on top of my ditches was closed with surgical glue. I had a light brown tape over my incisions until my 1 week post appointment. At this appointment a nurse took the tape off and cut stitches poking through the skin. I now change the tape myself every few days, but leave the tape on constantly besides changing it. I must add that I had full range of motion with my arms just an hour after surgery. I definitely felt like I needed to support my chest when standing and walking, and I definitely got tired easily. I stopped taking pain pills after 48 hrs, and just used tylenol occasionally. I feel like my nerve blockers wore off around 2 weeks post op. TMI but my nipples have been really tender since then (getting much better). Also I was more sore in general. However I flew from Atlanta to Denver 11 days post op so it may have just been the altitude or other factors. I haven't started working out again but my metabolism is so high post surgery that I haven't experienced any weight gain. My only complaint is that I am having so much trouble finding bras that are tight around the band and can still cover my breasts. XS is too small in the cup, but S is too big in the band and straps. I have one 32c sports bra from VS that fits well, but nothing that I can wear to show my new additions! I can't wear underwire for 2 more months. This problem could also be because my breasts are still sitting high. I'm just ready for my nipples to stay covered! Thank you for reading, let me know if you have questions! I'm happy to help.
I have decided to give my self a gift after the hard work and dedication of loosing 133 pounds and maintaining my weight for two years. It is time to trim the fat November 22, 2013. I have exercised and I am unable to get the excess skin off of the abdomen area. I am not looking for the perfect body and have some toning to go but my stomach is my only concern at the moment. I am documenting my journey on youtube and videos are posted in the bio and I'm excited to share my story here on realself. I am having the Extended Tummy Tuck with muscle repair and my plastic Surgeon Dr. Keith Hanna with Marietta Plastic Surgery is doing the drainless technique so I'm super excited not to have drains. He also stated it gives you a faster healing process as I only have 10-12 days to recover. I had two consultations scheduled for a Tummy Tuck on the same day back to back. The first consultation went well but I just didn't get that click or connection during my visit with the PA "not the doctor" after the consultation I was given the surgery proposal and not only were the dates I needed available I thought the cost and fees were extremely high so I was discouraged that I could not afford this. I was referred to Dr. Hanna by my office manager who had work by him and came highly recommended. My first impression from the staff as i walked in was very kind and professional as I called ahead because I was running late because I had trouble with my car on the way. although I was late my wait time was less than 5 minutes. The nurse during my consultation was great she has been with the company for over 20 years and to me that speaks volume because if your staff is happy than I believe you have great doctors on your side that care. I am a nurse as well and have allot of new patients that ask me how do you like working for your doctor? hows is his bed side manner? And my answer is he is amazing. He is kind and patient and I could no t have found a better doctor to work for and they say your just saying that. I have worked for many doctors who are rude, disrespectful who belittles you those office have a high turn rate and don't stay long because of the abuse. I can say after 8 years I work for a great doctor and to see staff with longevity means a lot to me. After that being said I found a great surgeon in Dr. Hanna he was patient and answered all my questions even after leaving with questions that I forgot they got back to me right away. Tammy the coordinator is amazing she has been the main source of contact since scheduling, confirming my appointment, emailing back n forth to going over all my pre op questions. She even remembers me when I called last year inquiring about a Tummy Tuck. lol she is great. well I wont talk your head off but my Pre Op appointment is scheduled for November 15th and will update you at that point. Be sure to check out my YouTube videos "29lawanna" and happy to answer any questions I can. I would love to here from you if you have had work with Dr. Hanna if not your stories and experiences. I would love to hear them! Updated on 8 Nov 2013: Updating before pics! Updated on 12 Nov 2013: Hi everyone well as I prepare to get my house in order ie cleaning, grocery shopping for thanksgiving, putting the freakin tree up lol Everybody in the house is sick! I have told everybody in the house to stay out my room, I keep a can of disinfectant on me, I refuse to eat in the eat it kitchen with them so I eat in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen in fear of getting sick. rescheduling is not an option because I'm only aloud to have 10 days off is to combine it with the holiday off days sigh..... not to mention I am a nurse who works for a Respiratory doctor and all patients are sick. I was instructed by my PS to stop taking all meds and vitamins 2 weeks before /2 weeks after but I feel I have to stay high on Vitamin C. I called the nurse today and thank you Jesus she said to go ahead and continue the Vitamin it will be fine. So Vitamin C and Emergen C it is whoop whoop I have been going crazy with all that has been going on not to get sick .I tend to get sick once a year and I have yet to get sick so far so I am spazzing out but I will grasp my self and get it together! lol Updated on 15 Nov 2013: Hi guys!!! I went to my pre-op appointment today at 8 am. I was pretty anxious and didn't get any sleep last night from tossing and turning. I got there and had to complete several consent from regarding risks and complication, anesthesia consents, finacial consents, revision consents and was given a what to expect booklet that include pre checklist, what to expect before and after care and registration of CosmetAssure a supplemental insurance that was included in my fees in the event of complications. I went back with the nurse and went over my physical and history, she answered all of my extra questions other than the ones i had during my initial consultation. I had 18 question and she answered all of them and except for a few that I had for the doctor. She went over everything that I was to expect, what to do if anything arise and gave me my prescriptions to fill. Prescriptions given were Percocet (pain) , Robaxin (muscle relaxer) Zofran (nausea) Pepcid (acid reducer) and Xanax for (anxiety). I am to take the night before the Xanax. The morning I am to take the Pepcid and Robaxin. Nothing to drink or eat after midnight and the night before and the day of shower with Hibiclens. My acrylic and nail polish she states is fine. Before I went for my pin up photo shoot lol she did a finger stick to check for anemia and my blood pressure which were both fine, There was no need for a chest x-ray or labs because I'm in good health and also i had a physical prior to my consultation which was all normal. We went into the photo room where all angle pictures were taken and was given those cute paper panties lol I asked if I could have copys of the pictures she said ok. Dr. Hannah came in and he answered the question the nurse could not. He will be giving me a nerve block, I asked about my belly button, incision line and markings. After that was done I was taken to the finance room to pay my balance and was given my post appoint that is scheduled for Nov 27 the day before thanksgiving. And that is all folks! ;-) total time about 2 hours. Updated on 20 Nov 2013: Hi guys wells it has been a month long wait and have 2 more days to go and Im very emotional at this point. I have been shopping and pampering my self and keeping busy. I went to the mall this past weekend and went Aroepostile and found this dress on clearance with an extra 30% off and got this for 10.00 but I had by girdle on and was definitely sticking my stomach in and imagining how great it would be not to have to hold my stomach in any more and being able to breath for a change lol I cant wait.......yesterday evening I went to the movies to see The Best Man Holiday which was very emotional on top of my personal emotions. But it was nice to get out. I ordered a recliner bed from a medical supply store for 75.00 I got a discount on that because Im in the medical field so the normal ranging price is 100-135 I was told and i think its a great price for comfort simply because I cant sleep with 8 pillows under my back and six pillow under my legs I get real hot at night and I know I will feel suffocated so I chose to rent this instead. The kids really "LOVE" this bed and don't know why lol I def encourage you check this video out coase I got some footage of them actin crazy over it. My son slept in it the night it was delivered and my daughter slept in it last night lol WOW to crazy but I enjoyed them in there with me. I heard getting a toilet extender would be good to have this is a 3 in 1 that acts as a extender over the toilet for elevation, a toilet of course and a shower chair 35.00 for this but the company I rented the bed from just there this in for me so I'm thankful for that . I'M READY..... Updated on 21 Nov 2013: Not much to say I'm high on Xanax I'm prepared as can be. The anesthesiologist called me to ask me questions and to walk me through the process and stated he would take good care of me. Today I have been a wreck but Ive let god and letting go. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and prayers. I will see you guys on the flat side!!! Updated on 23 Nov 2013: I can't remember much of yesterday the videos will best explain most of it. I got to the surgical site signed a few more concent forms the doctor did my markings went back to the OR the anesthesiologist was super funny and nice he numbed my hand before placing the iv didn't feel a thing and they joked with me till I was out. Woke up in recovery and they were trying to push fluids to get my robaxin down they said they took off 5 pounds. I don't remember the car ride I don't remember getting up the steps. My pain level yesterday was an 8 today about a 5 but more so soreness than pain. Its hard getting in and out of bed and doing my every two hour walks are a chore but getting better. The recliner bed is wonderful and glad I got the toilet extender. I can't say I'm in pain much cause I'm on schedule for all my meds and will take tylenol in between if I need to. Everyone has been such a great help you will def need this support at home. Right now when I walk I'm hunched over I have some low back pain and my thighs get heavy but gets better after each walk. My fiance changed my dressing I got nauseated and felt I had to pass out but the zofran worked immediately ..... no drains and replaced them with a bed pad all the way around because at first without it the incisions were burning and itching . I think the incision is right above the pubic line it feels very very very tight. My ears won't up pop I try to yawn but they won't pop hmmmmm I've been only eating crackers applesauce and the kids made me toast eggs and grits I will take pics tomorrow when I take a shower:-) Updated on 23 Nov 2013: Mommies little helpers I would not have made it without them!!! Updated on 25 Nov 2013: So today is day three and I'm feeling much better I took a sponge bath and changed my dressing and felt a world of difference. I'm walking much better in stead of shuffling and I'm getting in and out of bed with less assistance. Still no bowel movement I have taken three stool softeners since after surgery and a gentle laxative but nothing I hear to take milk of magnesia but i cant I know it will make me vomit should i double the laxative or do an enema? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... I saw my self a little and i can tell I'm a little swollen it appears to be good but cant confirm that until i take a full shower which will be tomorrow or will wait to take pics during my post op visit when he changes the dressing on my BB Wednesday that he said not to mess with lol As for as right now I'm just getting some much needed rest to help aid in my recovery, drinking plenty of fluids, not overdoing it, getting up every two hours for my five minute walks, enjoying my family and the new "ME" xoxo tomorrow is my birthday so I cant wait to see what that day will bring!!!! thanks so much everybody for the support its greatly appreciated ;-) Updated on 26 Nov 2013: Welp today is my Birthday and I'm 4 days Post Op and I'm feeling great I think i have weathered the storm lol still resting but I'M MUCH MUCH BETTER" no change really still walking more and more, enjoying my Percocet sleep lol but still no BM hmmmm I will discuss this during my post op visit tomorrow! But this freakin Compression Garment is aggravating its to tight i feel i walk worse with it but when i take it off to shower i feel so much better and can breathe i swear....but i still wear it, it itches it pulls at my bandages and im always adjusting and re wrapping to get it comfortable I just don't know cause i walk straight with it off and feel tight as heck with it on so i will discuss it with him tomorrow. They also shaved me when i was out under anesthesia and i think they nicked me and that plays a roll in all the aggravation down there lol Other than that not much of an update so I will post my birthday tummy pics in just a moment its easier to do it from my cell rather than uploading and saving them and all that hoopla lol stay tuned...... Updated on 26 Nov 2013: Still very swollen and so far I'm really excited about the results I think he did a great job! They say it takes at least six month to see the optimal results! What cha think? Updated on 30 Nov 2013: Still very swollen but I think he did a great job on my incision and my belly button seems to be healing ok. Bruising is minimal and lightening up. I'm starting the Armica Montana for the bruising and swelling. I'm currently just placing paper tape over the incision and will start putting a cream that a fellow Youtube follower/ friend uses and states it does a great job. I will have to order it from her PS so I will keep you updated on how it works. Updated on 2 Dec 2013: SETBACK: Well I had a minor set back on day 5 the pain medication clearly gave me the impression that I was able to do more that I thought, prior to going to my pre op appointment that day i had to go get my DL renewed, left there to my pre op appointment which all went well it was about a 15 minute visit, he took the dressing off my BB said only let the shower clean it, he pulled the paper tape off my incision and replaced it, we did not discuss scar therapy I guess it will be discuss in one month for the next visit. We did discuss me not having any bowel movement said to give it a few days everything would resume once I came off the pain medication which I did that next and to wait before i decide to take an Enema, well....after the appointment ended I went to the mall to get a link taken out of my birthday watch AND decided to go to CVS to get the Fleet enema anyway and while I was there, and yall may not know this but IM an "EXTREME COUPONER" and the black friday sales were amazing so I had to get in on the deals but I soon realized it was to much. I was bending and stretching for things that I know I should not have been doing. I got this sharp throbbing pain on the bottom left incision area near the crease of my thigh and I felt like i was going to die, I knew it was time to go and could not walk for a day in a half....tiss tisss so when they say sit your azzzz down and take it easy take heed cause i thought i was doing better and my work days were approaching......but the pain medication played tricks on me! BACK TO WORK: I knew I was not ready I felt i needed a few more days, before I left work the schedule was light "Im a back office nurse by the way" and I asked to keep the schedule light so it would not be so overwhelming and they understood that. I get to work today and the schedule was freekin over booked i was sooo pist and sooo emotional I became a hateful person today. But instead of breaking down and crying cause I was so tired, my back ached and short winded i had to check my self. I had to say to my self Lawanna this a business, the doctor i work for has a business to run and there are sick patients I cannot be selfish because i chose to have this elective service I cant expect them to have sympathy for me. I have a job and I have to work but in the back of my mind my feeling were so hurt, feeling like i was owed something after working there for four years but I cant be this way but Im human and i was still hurt, not only hurt I had changed my energy to anger and didnt say anything to anyone that morning, snappy worded everything....lunch came and I took my self to the car to reflect and pray REST ALSO but to ask for this negative energy to go away and change my attitude. The latter part of the day got better I was walking more for the better because i was still not walking straight and I noticed my energy picking up and I needed that to build my stamina back because i got lazy, laying in a bed all day and unable to exercise will make you lazy. So today had its pros and cons and ended helping me out for the better today. Updated on 27 Dec 2013: Hey guys sooo sorry I have been MIA life has just been busy with work, home and the holidays it has been crazy! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas...... My video will tell all with updated tummy pics.... My 1 month visit was today and everything went well I got a clean bill of health, he said im lookin flat "loved it" lol belly button looks nice, he pulled the paper tape off and said my incision looks great and healing beautifully, he snipped the sutures off each end and in the middle, told me I noonger had to wear my compression garment omg you just dont know how happy I am about that. He said i can go back to my regular schedule lifting, exercising, SEX lol He said I didn't know i was make Youtube videos and said three people came in because they saw my videos and was very pleased about it he said it really helps others alot and I couldn't agree more which is the main reason why I chose to document my Journey to help others and make them feel most comfortable about there decisions and be able to guide them in anyway possible. he told me that my last follow up visit will be in two months and I said wait for it wait for it ..... I will be back for a breast lift LOLOL he is soooo wonderful and sooo sweet I am so happy I chose him. We will do post op pictures on my last visit and Im hoping I can show off my sexy body after two months of Shaun T Focus 25 lol Im so excited to tone and work on a six pack baby!
Full Tummy Tuck with Muscle Repair and Breast Lift and Augmentation - Woodstock, GA
Well - I have been down this road before. I am going to be 45 - weight is 145 - Uggg and I am 5'3". I have had 5pregnancy 3 live births with 2 living children. Yes past history is a making of a lifetime story. I used to be a small 4 and now sweatpants are my friends due to the fact my belly is the same size as my boobs - and hips. So if it fits my belly - no way will it fit my legs - or butt - which with time has given my belly for being the fastest growing part of me. On to my history - I have wanted to do something like this for a long LONG time. I have had the money in the surgeons hand and had to have an emergency hysterectomy instead! Whoo Hooo luck is with me once again! Signed up again - money in hand - and husband lost his job and had no one helping me with kids. - Of course this has to be God's will for me to walk around and have people ask me if I am pregnant. So take 3 here we are- money has been paid - sister has a flight to help with the kids - spent a small fortune to get all the needed things to make this easier- (ya right) But now to the reason I am doing it. I have had a bumpy life. I guess it started out with a father who did not like me and was never around to the mom who was over worked and over stress and under medicated to deal with 3 kids. I went from one abusive relationship to another. To end up with my husband who for 15 years has spent time in the basement leveling up on World of Warcraft. He has been as abusive as I have let the rest of the people in my life treat me. But now with the help of good friends and lexapro I am ready to have the life I want. Why is it I think an implant will help me be me? I have no idea. Why do I think having this fat - then when sitting it looks like I am not wearing bottoms to a bathing suite - removed it going to help me in some way? I do not know. All I know is I have to do something. I am frozen in this - fear of living the best life I can. Hey if it is broke - can I fix it? Well in this case I can. Maybe this is just a shot in the dark and maybe I am arranging the chairs on the Titanic. But the surgeon who did my eyes - is now going to do my body. Just to give you an update. After my eyes were done - I told my husband I wanted a divorce. He has been nicer to me and the kids than he ever has. He is in counseling for his anger issues. Updated on 20 Feb 2012: Well I am 4 days out. Glad I did it. the worst part was the fear before. I will post pictures soon! Updated on 19 Mar 2012: Well have you ever met that friend who got hit with an astroid when she went to get the mail? That would be me. Amazing how if it could go wrong it did. My right nipple died - and that process is not for the lame of heart! My other boob got a sore on it the size of my palm. And my belly has a seroma on it - it has been 5 weeks of hell. No - I do not smoke - no I do not drink - I eat great - protein shakes - and ran 6 miles the day before the surgery. I have no heart or liver problem. And not one less than 3% but three..... less than 3%. The only thing I can say is this - whatever you do - do one thing at a time. Get tummy tuck from a tummy guy. Get breasts done by a breast guy! AND DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THEY CAN DO IT ALL - each one will tell you that! But it is BS! My guy is double board certified! Said he has done it for years. But come to find out - I am not the only one! WATCH OUT! By the way - lost my job due to the fact who knows when I will go back to work. I am at the office seeing the nurses 3 times a week. And I spend several hundred dollars in bandages - and all the other BS so I do not die. Ya! The nipple is long gone. My boob looks like a volcano - the other boob is square. My the Lord forgive me for spending all this - and now the strain on my family is even more. Updated on 19 Mar 2012: Here are some pictures to go with my other post. Please do not look and think this will happen to you - it means - be carful! Updated on 5 Aug 2012: After all is said and done - which I have revisions yet to be made, No one in this business goes out to 'harm you'. You really have to get over yourself. But sometimes - I bet more often than not you do not get the result you were looking for. (life changing - I will be happy with myself - my general life will be better) And if you are not in a position to handle it if something goes wrong - do not do it. I wish I would have just did the Tummy Tuck - the reasons why - because I feel better. I had some amazing space between by walls of my abs due to so many babies. But I have had to do laser to smooth out the lumps. -Ab model - no I am not. Able to move around better - yes. Boobs - I really bugged me that one boob was bigger than the other - and now they are the same size - yet one does not have a nipple. And if you get a lift what no-one tells you - you get smaller - A LOT smaller. So I had a lift - and an implant and I am a size if not more smaller - wtf? So if I had to compare I guess I would have done one - healed. THEN do the other. Please follow my advise. Having everything done at once - not a good plan. At least not for me!
I have a genetic hooded brow. Glad I did it when I did! I was on the fence about doing this - due to the fact you do not want anyone to mess up your face - let alone your eyes! So I was Soooo scared. But I figured I was not getting any younger and I did not want a BIG difference. So Insurance covered a lot of the cost - but I had to pay 4000 of my own money. I went to SEVERAL Dr's all over Atlanta - but I choose Dr. Hanna. Glad I did my homework! I also to prepare for the surgery - took 1000 mg of vitamin C - and the supplements you can buy in the office. - I did EVERYTHING they told me to do - and I was back at work in no time. But I am 2 weeks out and I can tell if I eat too much salty things - my eyes swell. Just take it easy - and remember it takes time to heal - I am REALLY glad it is over and I am looking forward to Feb when I hope Dr. Hanna will do my Mommy Makeover - I am addicted to feeling better about myself I am RAGING against the dying of the light! heheeh
I had my full tt with mr July 28, 2011. I had originally planned to do the lift at that time but in the end, just couldn't bear all that time on the OR table! So, now that I have my flat tummy, I am going to go through with it. It's not that I really "need" it, I wear a 34 DD/sometimes DDD bra, but with my small frame, 5ft, 130pounds, I feel lopsided! I am going to have a little lipo as well, so that will be the most painful I am sure. I am scheduled for Jan. 3rd...just about 2 weeks away. Time to up that protien again!!! I can't believe I am spending close to 17K when it's all said and done...Updated on 22 Dec 2011:Okay, I am starting my protein powder shakes again, no way I am letting my nutrition get in the way of this healing. I have continued taking the vit C. since my tt/I figure it can't hurt!!! Uploading some pics I took after my tt of my "girls" I will get brave and post the bare ladies eventually. Updated on 2 Jan 2012: Okay all...been kinda busy so haven't been checking out the messages lately. Hope everyone is recovering well and happy with the new looks! I am going in at 6:30 am TOMORROW for my Breast reduction/lipo and lift. I just took my xanax to relax me and I am hoping for the best. I am a little anxious but here I go anyway...will post more as I am able. Happy New Year...New you!!! Updated on 5 Jan 2012: I went in at6:30 am and by noon I was home. Sore but nothing like the tt/ mr. This is a piece of cake compared to that. Yes it ended up costing me about 4grand doing it in two sessions but I am really glad I did it this way . I'm done now!!! Updated on 10 Jan 2012: I love that I don't have to wear a bra!!!! It is amazing not to have to lift and separate my girls!!!! Not that I will go braless, but it is just amazing!!!! Still very sore, but I think it's mostly from the lipo. This morning I stretched before getting out of bed...OUCHHHHH. I forgot I can't do that!!!! Updated on 11 Jan 2012: Good news...boobies look great...bad news...I will be sore for months and swelling has moved down to the tummy area! Oh well...that's life. Updated on 20 Jan 2012: All has gone well so far, took my shower last night, still tapping the incisions as directed. Im sitting on my bed with my pjs on and all of a sudden I feel my gown is wet...I am like.."What the heck?" I look at it and it is pinkish tinted so I go into the bathroom and notice the tape under my left breast is soaked! I remove it and then I see a small, very small hole, right where they told me the most tension was. Dang, I applied guaze and taped it back up and went to bed. I am not sure how/why it happened. I am doing all the right things. I did stretch too far yesterday, so I may have pulled it. I am calling the ps this morning to see if anything needs to be done. But I sure hope we aren't going down that "hole/split" road again....Oh well, that's the world of plastic surgery! Updated on 20 Jan 2012: That is "taped" not tapped! Updated on 15 Apr 2012: yes, it was worth it...but I still have big boobs...they just stand up. Once I drop the 25 pounds I will feel so much better... Updated on 9 May 2012: Breast Lift update! I am going to have a slight revision this summer. My left boobie is slightly higher, very slightly, due to the way the tiny hole closed. I want it perfect and so does my Dr. so we will take care of it when I finish teaching for the year. Will post some new pictures in a day or so! Still loving how they stand up on thier own!!!! Updated on 9 May 2012: Here's the latest pics- I will have a slight revision on the left breast sometime this summer -it has a slight lift underneath where the tissue healed. Updated on 10 May 2012: Okay, so the pics rotated when I posted them...arghhhhh..anyone know how to correct this????? Updated on 13 Jan 2013: Love the lift and would do it over again,. I ended up not having any revision surgery, Iam happy with the results. Will post an updated pic soon I promise! Going braless is awesome!
You seem to have good skin tone with no laxity or stretch marks. Therefore, I believe you would be a good candidate for liposuction and could avoid the scar that comes with a tummy tuck.
We have nipple markers that we use in surgery to give us a perfectly round areola. They typically are either 38mm, 40mm, or 42mm. Therefore there is some small variation in the sizes we can choose.
The proper position of the upper eyelids should be closer to the upper part of the colored part (corneolscleral limbus) of your eye. Your lid position is closer to the pupils. With the proper technique, the ptosis can be repaired and the result should be long lasting.
The term "body lift" typically refers to a lower body lift and includes an abdominoplasty (a.k.a. tummy tuck), a lateral thigh lift, and a buttock lift. This is an extensive procedure and removes all of the excess skin and fat from the lower trunk (or lower body) area. I would recommend you have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Liposuction is very effective at getting rid of excess fat, however it does address the issue of excess skin. Looking at your pictures, I feel that liposuction would just leave you with loose, hanging skin. If you are OK with the scar, a brachioplasty, or arm lift, would give the best contour and result. I would suggest you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for a full consultation.
