I had my third Mona Lisa Laser treatment in November 2015. Three treatments were suggested at 6 week intervals. I noticed a 50% improvement after my first treatment and after my second treatment another 25% improvement. I didn't think I needed the third treatment, but had it done anyway as to stay on a protocol. I can honestly say that the Mona Lisa laser treatments have eliminated my dryness and the need for lubricants. My husband is Just as thrilled. I don't get bladder infections anymore and the other uncomfortable feelings that come with vaginal atrophy. The procedure took 5-10 minutes with NO pain and no down time. Overtime it regenerated the lost moisture back to my pre-menopausal state. Amazing! I'll have this done one time annually to keep with this protocol. What a great and safe solution for this problem we as women do not like to talk about.
Amazing results. My first treatment was 8 weeks ago. My results are significant already! I can get into my jeans now without seeing that lower belly roll! I can't wait to see my 12 weeks results. The treatment took 25 min and no pain. Lizellen La Follette,MD in Marin County has skillfully marked the areas that I needed removed and skillfully performed this laser in just 25 minutes. I don't see ripples or uneven areas like I've heard can happen with the surgical lipolysis procedure. There were no incisions and no down time - And Why risk infection with a surgical procedure! I will get my flanks done as well and will soon be in a bathing suit with confidence!! If you live in Marin, I suggest Dr. La Follette's practice as she also offers discounts. She truly cares about her patients! I'll post12 week results as well as my flanks soon!
I had Sculpsure done in summer 2016 and was pretty happy with the results. Did I have 25% reduction? No, but I was told at the time that I had been put on the maximum setting and could see a difference in two weeks- and loved that the procedure is non-invasive. So I scheduled another procedure in late January. Strapped into the device and chatting, I was surprised when Dr. Lafollette's nurse (never saw the doctor or had any kind of consult) announced that the first 25 minute treatment was over because I had felt absolutely nothing like the deep heat I had felt the first time. I was reassured that I had been at the highest setting and strapped up for another pass. A couple of weeks later - okay I'll just cut to the chase- after dozens of emails and months of being blown off and absolutely no results I finally got a copy of my records, which showed that I had in fact not been at the highest setting - and now it has been a couple of months with absolutely no results (I took photos) I finally got my money back for the second set of procedures (though not for the first set, about which I was lied to about having been on the highest setting). Bottom line is that nothing that is actually going to work is going to be painless. For this to work AT ALL you're going to feel some pretty deep, uncomfortable heat: your fat layer need to go up to 45-46°F or the procedure WILL NOT WORK. Since you can't see the display you have to trust that they're telling you truth and in my case they blatantly contradicted what was on their own handwritten records. If you DO get the procedure done correctly you will likely see results, but nothing like the 25% they advertise. I saw the FDA 510 form and the company claims " In 88% of the total individual evaluations the evaluators correctly identified the before and after images... There was an average of 13% normalized fat reduction based on ultrasound measurements at 12 weeks." 13%- not 25%. So deceptive! As for 4 stars on payment process, Dr. Lafollette was very prompt to take my money. Yes, I got my money back for the second treatment but I had to waste 2 months waiting around to prove to them there would be no results and in the meantime got treated like dirt. FUN!
As part of my Mommy makeover, I was going to get liposuction, but I want to avoid another surgery and I want to avoid loose skin. I think sculpsure might be a good option because I've read that it has skin tightening as a side effect. Starting measurements: 34.5 inches around Each thigh: 21.5 inches Updated on 30 Aug 2017: So I had it done today. Inner thighs, outer thighs and back of the thighs (banana rolls- such a dumb name). I thought it was SUPER painful. Hopefully I see some amazing results in a few months! I'll update when I see results. Updated on 1 Sep 2017: Wow I seem swollen and my outer thighs HURT! I thought this was painless. Not so much. Hope it's worth it. Updated on 27 Sep 2017: Here are my 4 week photos. I don't think I see a difference. Updated on 5 Jan 2018: So I did my second treatment of sculpsure today. I'll update after 12 weeks with photos. I would say that I didn't really see any difference after the first, but I hear it takes 2 treatments to make a difference. Updated on 13 Apr 2019: I went to this office to have this treatment done. I did it twice once with a nurse and the second time with another doctor in her practice. It was extremely painful and did not work at all. I spent thousands of dollars to have my thighs done. Probably the worst part of it was a few months later when the doctor sent me a promo email for another treatment. I told her that I found that the two (very expensive) treatments that I did did not work at all and that it was a terrible waste of money. The doctor actually ranted back at me with an unkind "I STAND BY THE SCIENCE" rant. It's sort of odd that after spending thousands of dollars and not having any results at all that the doctor would then add insult to injury by backing this pseudo science scam rather than offering any sort of solace, kindness or anything like that. I would not recommend this treatment or this provider.
first the vaginal ring estring was actually studied to be used in breast cancer patients and it did not cause or worsen those with cancer already. People often associate the estrogen risks sometimes associated with cancer are never the vaginal preparations.so you are safe there. If you assume that a kidney infection is the result of an untreated bladder infection, then Mona Lisa touch will help reduce recurrent bladder infections. In many older women it is really hard to notice any bladder symptoms so for you it might make sense for awhile to check urine cultures monthly and make sure you are really fully treated. I think in your case Mona Lisa Touch might help.
