36 mother of two finally getting her dream boobies

I'm a 36 yr old mother of two, I'm about 5'7, 120lbs slender build. Iv always had small boobs and especially after breastfeeding my two kids, it left me even smaller. I'm about 32/34A although I wonder if I'm more AA since I don't fill out my bra cups very much. I'm going to SouthBay Plastic surgeons and Dr Jewell is amazing, her and her staff have been more than helpful and understanding! We decided on 385cc Sientra HP implants, possibly a 350 or something smaller for my right breast because it's slightly bigger. My surgery is today and I'm so excited! Very nervous but I know I'll be in great hands! Here are my before pictures! I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow!

How are tot feeling today? It's technically day 4 for me since my surgery wasn't until after 2 on the 27th I was feeling pretty good up until yesterday evening and last night was almost un bearable. Soooo tight I let like my chest was going to explode. And more pain. The only thing I did different was I went on a light walk with my husband while he walked the dog around the block I went slow at my own pace but after I got back I read I shouldn't be walking at all because if you raise your heart rate and blood pressure and you could bleed and I'm super concerned about capsular constractur. When I woke up this morning my right breast felt better and even looked like it had started to drop, but my left was still really hard and firm and much more sore. I read a lot so I know this is all pretty much normal but hopefully by tomorrow or Monday it should be better.

Remember, everything you are going thru is normal. So far so good for me. Make sure you're taking something to make it go to the bathroom if u haven't already. I emailed my dr a pic yesterday of my incisions and she said they look good/normal. I was worried I over did it with walking and trying to use my arms more than I should. Also, sent a pic to her because I was worried my right seems more hard and bigger than my right along with more pressure. Again, she said it was normal. I'm on day 6. Take deep breaths from tine to time and relax. Try not to walk around like that again but you do want to walk around the kitchen, etc to get your blood flowing and to help from getting so constipated if you're still taking pain meds. I will post a pic of my before and after as well. I was very flat from having a full hysterectomy, etc. I was so afraid I went too big but with my frame and measurements, I think I did good. If you need someone to talk to, I will keep checking g back via this post. It can be kind of lonely not having someone to talk to unless they too have gone thru it. In supper worried about capsular contraction too. Let's try not to stress so much about that. Let's follow dr's orders and focus on what's in our control. ;) Easier said than done.

Thank you so much!! That's why I love this site! I didn't go to the bathroom for 3 days and finally went yesterday although I feel I'm getting backed up again. But I went through this with my two pregnancies and been on pain meds after my C-section. I'm really trying to relax and just take trust and that this is all part of the process and healing recovery thank you so much for helping ease my mind it's great to talk to people who are going through the same experience

Mdaisy3115
About 6 hours out of my BA and going well! Just still really sleepy and a little sore. Everything says tomorrow might be worse but I go back to post op tomorrow afternoon and I'm excited to see them! She went 395 Sientra high profile in both breasts :)

How long was the actual surgery? Were you put out or just an IV sedation?
April 28, 2021
Actual surgery was about 2 hours and I was in recovery for about an hour. I had an IV and was under full sedation.

That's awesome. When I had my BA they intubated me. It was hard getting up and then I was nauseous.

Congrats!!! I’m the same build as you and also a mother to small kids so I’ve been seriously thinking of upgrading the girls lol wishing you a speedy recovery.

Day 1 post op

Mdaisy3115
Day one and I’m feeling pretty ok! Iv only used the hard pain meds a couple times, it’s more of a full sore pain and feels very tight. But so far I’m loving them and I can’t wait for them to droop. She did 38cc Sientra on both sides. The worst part is having to sleep on my back but hopefully that’s only for a while.
