Today was a god day. I am feeling much better about my new body. I'm really loving my boobs. Trying on all the shirts in my closet has been fun. I've started eating better and it's made a difference in how I feel. My kids are happy to have their mom feeling better. I am excited to see what my PS thinks of my results. So far my incisions seem to be healing nicely. The last of the steri strips finally came off my TT incision. I haven't seen my breast incisions yet, as my steri strips under my breasts are still in place.
I'm getting more upright but still a little slouched. And in still sleeping in my recliner. I can sleep in bed but it bothers me to not be able to roll over on my side, so for now, the recliner works.

Three weeks!

Three weeks post op today! It feels so good to say that. I'm getting better day by day. I'm still a little hunched and bending, stretching, and driving is kind of uncomfortable but I believe it's getting easier. I'm still anxiously awaiting seeing my tummy results. Still pretty swollen... I need to eat better. It's hard because I'm not working out so I don't feel real motivated to eat clean. My boobs are good. I am sort of wondering if I should've went above the muscle as they are still a tiny bit droopy near the nipple where the implant doesn't completely fill them out. I don't think it's real noticeable, I can just tell when I'm massaging them. I sort of wish I had more upper pole fullness as well as more cleavage. They're very full on the sides and I don't mind that at all. I guess I'm just being picky. I thought I wanted them to look natural and they really do. But now that I've seen more pictures, I realize that I like the look of the more round and "done" breasts. I'm still glad I did it and my hubby definitely loves them so that's all good. I'm doing more everyday but I still get sore and swollen especially in the evenings and picking things up off the floor is frustrating. I'll get there soon though, I just know it! My belly often gets tight and I have to walk real slow. I see my PS on Thursday and I'm hoping he will tell me it's okay to switch to a more flattering compression garment. I'll be happy to say goodbye to this bulky Velcro wrap. Hope everyone is healing well! Until next time!!! : )

Day fourteen!

Two weeks since my surgery and things are looking up. I slept in my own bed last night instead of the recliner and, for the first time in two weeks, woke up without back pain. Yay!
I'm getting more and more flexibility in my arms. I can reach higher things and unload the dishwasher.
I've started taking ibuprofen for the swelling and it feels better than taking the perceset.
My boobs are still pretty sore. I wish that would go away. Even brushing past them hurts as my skin feels raw from wearing a bra all the time.
I think the selling has lessened a bit in my abdomen. I haven't measured or anything but it feels less puffy under my binder.
