Dr. Daniel is extraordinary! I had my surgery on the 12th, I'm 15 days post op and loving the results I'm seeing. During my consultation, Dr. Daniel answered all my questions, gave me his professional opinion of the procedures that would best fit my desired results and explained where scar placement would be.
The day of surgery was hands down the best experience I've ever had with surgery. I have had 4 c-sections and multiple other surgeries. Chase Garden Surgery Center has a personable staff leaving you feel at easy before your big transformation.

Tummy Tuck w/ MR, Back Lipo & Hip Lipo
jillmarie172July 28, 2022
I wanted to updated everyone on all the procedures I had done. Dr. Daniel performed 3 procedures at once in roughly 4.5 hours. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, full back lipo and hip lipo. Total cost with Dr. fees, facility, Rx's and anesthesia was $16,462.95. There was a discount for performing multiple procedures at one time.
The pics I've posted are 15 days post op, but I wasn't able to get a pic of my back myself. The first week, I had to wear my binder 24/7 and didn't bother taking any pictures because I couldn't see the results. Unfortunately, I didn't take any before photos because I couldn't stand to look at myself naked!

Feeling More Like My Self, but Tire Easily
jillmarie172July 29, 2022
I am 17 days post op and finally feeling more like my old self! The second and third day post op was the most painful. Until a person has had a surgery that repairs the abdominal muscles such as a Tummy Tuck, you don't realize how much your core muscles are engaged with every movement you make. I was expecting recovery to be similar to my c-sections, but it doesn't even compare.
It hurt to wipe myself; I had to get into a half squatting/standing position to be able to reach without straining. I used a walker for about a week to get around the house to help with stability. Recliners are going to be your friend. If you have an automatic recliner or can borrow one from a grandparent, that will help you greatly. It is hard to get out of the recliner without engaging your core. So, one that can automatically lift you up would be preferable. Otherwise, you will definitely want someone around to help you in and out of the recliner.
My drains hurt and burned at the site of entry. I was told that my nerves were overly "excited" because of the work that had just been done. Once they were out, I felt much better. I was able to get two of the three drains out day 7 post op and the last one on day 9. Once they were removed, I had some pubic swelling. This lasted for several days. I was told this often happens after drains are taken out and fluid settles with gravity. I was finally able to take a shower day 11. After the shower, I often felt sweaty, light headed and nauseous. I would need to take one of my antinausea meds before I would feel better. When I talked with the Dr. office, I was told this is common as well because the binders have just been taken off and in combination with hot water can make a person feel ill.
The last few days I have been doing more around the house. Originally, I took two weeks off of work, but then I ended up taking an additional week off. I plan on going back this Monday. I have a desk job, but my desk is a sit/stand desk without the option to lower it to the standard ADA level. So, I'm a little nervous about getting into my chair. I get pretty tired and swollen after doing what little I do around the house. So, we will see how it goes.
