This is one of the best doctors I have ever met! He has the greatest bedside manner and never makes you feel rushed. His office staff is amazing as well. I got a tummy tuck and a breast reduction and healing wonderfully. Could not recommend a better doctor than Dr perry!!
Breast Reduction with Tummy Tuck at 50! Not only is Dr. Perry a prefectionist, but he works with his patients to understand their desired outcome. I provided Dr. Perry with a before and after picture of a similar body type as a guideline, and he sculpted my tummy tuck and breast reduction exactly the way I wanted. Dr. Perry prepared me for what to expect with my recovery and scheduled regular follow-ups for 18 months to ensure the healing and sculpting had a desirable outcome. He is compassionate, personable and sincere. No complications and a flawless result.
Dr Perry is incredible! He genuinely cares about you and your well being. Very professional and one of the nicest people I have ever met. I have horrible anxiety, so the day of my surgery I was a little panicked. He realized my worries, and did everything to put my mind at ease. The surgery went perfect, and if there were any worries or problems he was just a phone call away. Would recommend 10 out of 10. I love the way I look and feel thanks to him!
Had 5 kids all via csec & on top of nursing for a total of 4 yrs. Was able to loose most plus some weight after first 2 babies. 3rd and 4th being closer together... Not so much. Then life, exhaustion and #5 got out of control. Finally tubes tied & up to 190) lbs. Seeked help got down to 155lbs. More bottom heavy though. Butt and thighs. Updated on 28 Jun 2015: Extremely hard for me to sit down bevause I'm always doing so much. My husband has completely been my rock on following Dr orders and rx times. Also huge help to my parents for taking all 5 of my kids for a few days. Feeling more like i had a months worth of extreme ab work out. And my breast feel more like the engorgement stage when you stop breastfeeding.. Pain meds are surely helping but keep me tired. So we will see what tomorrow holds!
Thanks for all the info and pictures everyone has provided! It helped me decide to finally schedule my implant removal on Jun 5. At 34, I went to PS for a lift and he convinced me to do implants above the muscle. I knew immediately I made a mistake and wanted them removed. Will post pictures soon... The pain is more than I expected but manageable if I take the pain meds every 4 hours. I snack on Bare Apple Chips to counteract the codeine in my system so I don't get constipation. I'm sleeping a lot but otherwise am doing fine. So happy this is done... I haven't been brave enough to look under the bandages and will let Dr Perry take them off. He's a wonderful doctor and I can't say enough good things about him! Updated on 9 Jun 2015: Pictures of me with the drains in the day they were taken out and funny pictures of flowers 2 of my gay guy friends sent me! Updated on 10 Jun 2015: Yesterday, the doc told me i could take off the dressings for an hour at a time if they were too snug and bothering me (but I needed to put the back on afterwards), Here are pictures of my new tiny boobs and arms Updated on 13 Jun 2015: Spent yesterday on my computer and then walked a few doors down for dinner at a neighbor's last night. Unfortunately, she cooks with lots of salt. About midnight, I awoke in major pain due to swelling under the compression garment (chest and arms). I had been down to 1 pain pill per 12 hrs, but had to take 6 pain pills during the next 12 hrs. I just ate fruit and yogurt today, but had a vegan dish with low sodium for dinner so I'm hoping I don't have a repeat of last night. My steri-strips on my arms are now full of blood from last night, but my boobs still look good except for one small blood spot on the underside. I see Dr Perry on Monday morning at 8am and he's not going to be happy with me... going to bed and staying there until Monday morning... :-( Updated on 18 Jun 2015: Ladies, even though you're feeling better... stay off the darn computer! I've been on my almost all day the past few days and then my arms swelled up horribly during the night the past 2 nights. Major pain and had to go back to doctor today... otherwise, all is good and I'm progressing well. Updated on 23 Jun 2015: So a couple of neighbors (the ones that gave me those cute flowers) took me to the local organic grocery store on Saturday and I experienced the most amazing and unexpected occurrences! As I walked through the store (yes, pushing my own little mini cart), men kept walking by smiling and saying hello. I went back to get my organic arugula and realized the employee stocking the arugula was one of those men - he smiled, told me I smelled incredible and asked me what type of shampoo I used... on my way home, I asked my friends (both gay) what the heck was going on... Corey smiled and said 'for the first time in your life since you were 15 and a 36D, men are NOT looking at your chest first but at your face and seeing what a happy person you are'... I almost started crying! Because I wore a 12P / 14P top to cover my 36DD/38DD, I always saw myself as a large person. Over the past 2 weeks, my doctor and one of his assistants have referred to me as a very tiny person on different occassions... isn't it amazing how our self image can be so different than reality?! I am so happy with my tiny boobs!!! Updated on 4 Jul 2015: It's been 4 weeks since the surgery and I'm so HAPPY! My explant surgery went incredibly well, and the lift scars are fading away. My brachioplasty (upper arm lift) is healing slowly, but looking good! I had an emergency this week which required me to rush my dog to the vet, so I did cause a little bleeding under one of my armpits, but not much. Posting my 4 weeks pictures today, and girls - the steri-strips are off my areolas and there are NO visible scars (yay!). So happy with my surgeon and I met another one of his patients this week (2nd patient of his that I've met that is a cancer survivor) - we all agreed that Dr Perry and his staff are AWESOME!
Dr. Perry is Awesome! He listens and answers all questions. I came in with big, saggy breasts with large nipples. My procedure went extremely well with NO complications. My breast are beautiful now, think Samantha's from sex and the city. Go if you want exactly what you ask for. He is the Best in Dallas!
I am scheduled to have an explant and breast lift this Friday, 2/20/15. I have had huge silicone implants for 23 years and I've been unknowingly walking around with bilateral ruptures. I am very excited, very confident about this upcoming procedure. 58 years old, overweight, glad to be free soon. I am so looking forward to being able to see my stomach again, fat as it may be. I have absolutely no qualms about this. I am simply posting to help any other woman world wide who looks at this site as I have for months to obtain encouragement and education on this whole process. Wish me well. I would love to hear from any of you. I will also post some pre op pictures this afternoon. Updated on 18 Feb 2015: Took pictures as posted but really am not good at doing selfies of any sort! Here are the boobie prizes and soon I'll not be Barbie anymore! Updated on 19 Feb 2015: Hello, all you folks out there. Surgery is tomorrow. I have gotten my preop calls from both the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. I am going to follow all the surgeon's rules to the letter no matter what other doctors or women think or have advised. He is my surgeon and I trust him to do right by me as best he can. Surgery isn't till noon. I do know I will not be one of the energetic bunnies that hop out of recovery and snap selfies to post (and more power to you guys). I will be happy to be home and quiet for the first couple of days. Thanks again for good wishes! Updated on 21 Feb 2015: My first thought actually upon really waking up and knowing what had occurred was "I can breathe! I can move my lungs!" I guess you don't know what you've had till it's gone! Holy cow, this is wonderful. I have posted graphic pictures but this is what I want you to realize: Most of the bulkiness is bandages - not boob. Secondly, for 18 hours post op, there is very little drainage. Dr. Perry has said that once I only drain 30 (ccs?) in a 24 hour period, he will remove the drains. I have about 6 in the left breast and about 12 in the right. Not bad! Took my pain meds last night and early early am but am now only going to use Advil if I can get away with it. Being very good about ice packs and my dogs are at my daughters' house (no hurling missles). I am so jazzed I cannot begin to say. Once I remove bandages, I will take more pics! Thanks again all of you wonderful supporters! It was so wonderful to 'burn' my huge horrible wired bras. Will only do wireless in the future. Back to my tv! Bored already! Updated on 22 Feb 2015: Hi, Guys. I got my drains removed today as I was not producing enough fluid for them to be necessary. I am so delighted with the new me. I feel already so much better. Hope all of you who are undergoing the same thing as me right now are doing great! Updated on 26 Feb 2015: Hello. to all of you. I went for my six day post op where Dr. Perry changed the steri-strips and said I looked great. I am bruised, of course, and still swollen which he said will continue to improve over time to where my breasts will be much softer and smaller. He did remove a lot of my own breast tissue at the time of explant which is partly why the bruising is so evident. I could not be any happier. I just keep looking at my chest and wondering why it took me so long to make this important step for my own health and fitness. I can start to exercise again! I can breathe again. I can wear clothes that aren't made for Aunt Bee on the Andy Griffith Show. I can't wait for my life to begin again. Walking around under huge amounts of weight can get anyone down. I have such a weight off my chest now! I was asked by one of you what Dr. Perry's views on compression were. At the first post op appointment, he had told me I didn't even have to wear a bra as far as he was concerned while I was healing except to hold on bandages. Once he took out the drains, the bandages were not necessary so I spent this whole week braless! It was super. When I asked him about compression today, he explained that it depends on how much tissue was left after explant. If there was a lot of room, there would probably be more fluid and compression might help with that. He said that that person who retained the fluid probably would have with or without the compression but it's always wise to err on the safe side. I simply had plenty of tissue to fill the holes. It's been amazing to go braless. Also, I don't know if I mentioned before, but the surgery (almost 3 and 1/2 hours) was done without general anesthesia so no intubating. I was not aware of anything but he used local anesthesia and IV sedation. I swear as far as recovery goes, it made it much nicer. General anesthesia is a headache at best. I wish you all the best, will answer any private messages, but probably won't post here for months again. Let's see what I look like in the beginning of summer! Take care, all of you wonderful women!
Dr Perry is the Best Surgeon in DFW. I like the fact that he is young and in his prime at 43. He has always listened and been professional. Everything that he explained before and after my surgery was right on. I had zero complications and my breasts are perky and beautiful. Best of all I have no neck, shoulder or back pain now:)
I am 43 years old, 5'4 and about 140 pounds. I have two children 18 and almost 21. They were beautiful large babies (8.6 and 9.4 pounds) but the pregnancies did a number to my abdomen. I have wanted to do this for so long and I cant believe it's in 2 more days! I have previously had a breast lift w/ implants and a hernia surgery. I am not really nervous about the actual surgery but more anxious about the recovery and how quickly I'll heal. My PS has assured me that I will have a very good outcome which is comforting. I'm scheduled for 7:30 Friday am and will stay overnight in a "hospitel".I really am excited about this and being able to feel good about myself again. I know I wont regret this!! Updated on 23 Dec 2012: Day 2 at home for me, so far so good! I am so relieved it hasn't been horrible like I imagined. I took my meds last night before bed and slept like a rock! Woke up a little stiff but pain pill helped that pretty quick.I have set my alarm on my phone to take my meds when needed and so I don't confuse which one I took last. Not draining much at all and still not having any nausea! My daughters have been so fantastic helping me out and making sure I have everyting I need. I still cant believe how good it looks even on day one! Happy healing to everyone else, and for those of you about to have yours done, don't worry! Updated on 27 Dec 2012: So post op day 6,still feeling pretty good. I had my post op appt today and had one drain removed. Hoping to have the second one removed in the next few days when the drainage levels decrease. Dr. says everything looks really good and healing nicely at this point. Other than just moving a little slow I think my recovery has been fantastic! I was able to go to my family's for Christmas and had a great time.(maybe the meds helped lol) The first few days I camped out on the couch w/ everything in arms reach, but did make it up to my bed last night ahhh it was spiritual. The compression garment on the other hand is a complete pain in the butt! I really dont know how I will be able to put that thing back on by myself when i I have to and the thought of wearing it for 5 more weeks is overwhelming. Oh well, gotta do what I gotta do! . Hope everyone is healing nicely and having a wonderul holiday! Updated on 11 Jan 2013: Well, back to work this week and I made it. I'm a dental hygienist and only problem was the getting up and walking. I was also able to come home and do nothing which was great. I had my second lymphatic massage and the therapist was excited for my scar and said it would heal to be very tiny and that I actually had strech marks that would be bigger than the scar. She also said I was still pretty swollen which suprised me.. i thought it just hip fat lol. As you can see we weren't able to remove all the strech marks but I knew that going in. Still loving my PS will see him on Monday and have adjusted to life in the CG :) Updated on 15 Jan 2013: Saw my PS yesterday for PO and he had to drain some fluid out,(seroma) about 45cc. Did not hurt at the time but later... OUCH! He said I would probably have to drain it again in a week due to going back to work so soon. :( He wants to see me again in a week. I can also start using the scar strips. Still very happy w/ results and feeling good.
1/19/18 day 2 P.O. so far so good. Had 6 lbs of extra skin removed. Fleur de lis tummy tuck, muscle reconstruction and lipo. Haven’t really tried solid food but plenty of water and pineapple juice. Looking forward to taking my first shower later. My recliner and walker have been my lifesavers. I bought protein drinks but scared to drink them after seeing the sodium content. So far mirelix and dulcolax have not helped with constipation,of course I’ve always had problems with it. Hopefully it will help soon . Pain has been manageable but more stinging then anything. Updated on 20 Jan 2018: Best decision I’ve ever made. It’s day 3 po and already happy with it. Ive only peeked when dr did po check before I left the hospital. I get to take a shower today so I’m excited to see under the cg. Pain has been bad at times but nothing like I expected. More burning then anything. I figure that is from the muscle repair. I only have one drain and he says with as much skin he had to remove I’ll probably have it in 2 to 3 weeks. He removed 6 lbs of skin!!!! That’s crazy???????? here’s a pic he took while changing my bandages. Will take more as I go along. Thank y’all so much for the support!!! Updated on 24 Jan 2018: Thought it was a good idea to go to the dentist yesterday, trying to take advantage of being off work. Lol. Not recommended!! Today I’m in “Hell Swell”!!! Today is my post op appointment so hopefully will find out when I get the drain out. Pain has not been too bad except when I didn’t take any all day so I was clear headed to get payroll done. I don’t advise anyone to skip doses all together, it takes forever for the meds to kick in to help. Will update after post op
