Prior to meeting Dr. Owens, I was in the middle of a plastic surgery nightmare from August 2023 until February 2026. On November 22, 2023, I had (1) bilateral breast augmentation with silicone implant placement and bilateral mastopexy and (2) liposuction of lower abdomen/pelvis, posterior flanks, and medial thighs with Dr. Emily Clarke-Pearson of Charm City Plastic Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. I had a negative, disappointing, and overwhelming experience that resulted in undesirable aesthetics, chronic pain, and unmet expectations. After I left Dr. ECP's care in May 2024, I started looking for a new plastic surgeon and found Dr. Owens.
On August 15, 2024, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Owens for a second opinion. Her bedside manner and professionalism were exceptional, and I immediately felt like I could trust her. She was compassionate, honest, knowledgeable, and thorough. She spent over an hour listening to my story, answering all my questions, and creating a treatment plan. Her three staff members (Nicole, Kim, and Sue) were wonderful throughout the process. Her office was beautiful, inviting, spacious, and easy to locate.
On February 4, 2025, I scheduled a second consultation with Dr. Owens to evaluate my progress and treatment plan. She spent an hour with me and did not charge me a significant amount of money. On June 2, 2025, I scheduled a third consultation with Dr. Owens to discuss breast explant surgery. Again, she spent an hour with me and did not charge me a significant amount of money.
On February 9, 2026, I had (1) bilateral breast implant removal with partial capsulectomy and (2) bilateral mastopexy with Dr. Owens at Baltimore Columbia Surgery Center in Ellicott City, Maryland. Everything went well from start to finish, everything flowed with ease, and everything lined up without any issues. Even in the early stages of healing, my breasts looked and felt much better and more natural than before having any surgery. My experience with Dr. Owens, her staff, and the surgery team was nothing but positive, and the results of my breast surgery exceeded my expectations.
