Dr. Julie Thomson is a distinguished graduate of the University of Calgary with a medical degree and diploma in dermatology and dermoscopy from Cardiff University. She brings over 15 years of experience to her patients at Dermapure in Calgary, Alberta. She treats a wide range of concerns across both medical and cosmetic dermatology, including skin cancer screening, melasma, and acne, but is perhaps best known for her skills administering injectables, including Botox injections and dermal fillers. She is passionate about combining science and aesthetics to deliver beautiful results that help her patients look natural and feel confident.

Dr. Thomson received her BScH from Queen's University and her medical and master’s degrees from the University of Calgary, where she took on a clinical mentorship in dermatology before achieving a post-graduate diploma in dermoscopy and Primary Care Diploma in Dermatology at Cardiff University in Wales. She has also completed mentorships in aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology. When she is not busy treating her patients, Dr. Thomson enjoys spending time with her family playing games, baking, or hiking.
