54 year old woman caucasian Doctor and staff were professional and easy to talk to about outcomes and concerns. Dr. Zinsser’s bedside manner is wonderful. Surgery went well. Hardly any swelling or bruising. One large bruise under left eye. Sleeping at a slight angle comfortably on my back for a few weeks was finally figured out and was fine with a lot of pillows piled everywhere. The scalp numbness and tingling is strange but not uncomfortable. I’m at four weeks afterwards and the three incisions at my hairline are pink and there’s only one spot that still has a scab. I’m using a scar reduction product bought from Dr. Zinsser. I haven’t put makeup on yet. I did not like the medical compression Velcro strip after the first week so I changed it out for a tight yoga Alo black headband and Dr. Zinsser approved it on the two week follow up visit. I felt comfortable wearing that out in public during the day. I went out to a happy hour toward the end of week two and wore a fedora hat with my outfit and I felt good. The first four weeks, I got tired after a few hours of work and would rest during the day. Talking with friends is tiring and I’m not sure if the facial nerves from the forehead area affect down to my jawline. I’m very happy with the results. My eyelids are more open, my eyes are less tired than before, my eyebrows are higher and my forehead is tight. I don’t think anyone would even know I had anything done. My own mother doesn’t know, yet and she saw me at 3 1/2 weeks and didn’t say anything, except that I looked pretty. Quite successful.
Fantastic experience! I would highly recommend Dr Zinsser and his team. They did a great job guiding me through the process and I never felt any pressure. I was nervous for the recovery since I have smaller children, but he did a great job. After a few days I was on my feet and only a few weeks later I was feeling almost 100%. I would highly recommend. My breast look very natural.
DR. Zinsser is amazing! His while team was so awesome and welcoming. The process was so easy and the they were all so comforting and friendly. Dr. Zinsser worked wonders on my arm lifts and my breast reduction and lift. He knew exactly what was my issue and even thought of the area that no other doctor would do also. The pre-opt was smooth sailing and the recovery was much easier then I expected. They provided things most don't and they were reachable for everything. I could not be happier with the outcome and the choice of Dr. Zinsser and his team. I recommend to everyone!!
I'm a trans nonbinary person who just got top surgery with Dr. Zinsser 6 days ago. When I say that I could not imagine more perfect results its completely true, but that honestly goes to my entire experience with him and his staff. They are trans educated, led me to getting insurance coverage despite mental illness, genuinely kind, responsive, took me to a hospital that was FANTASTIC the day of my operation, more affordable than other surgeons in the area, and likely hit all of the boxes not specifically mentioned yet. I cannot thank them enough for giving my dream chest and treating me with such kindness through the entire process.
I had a belt Lipectomy with glute auto augmentation on 4/13/21. Today I’m 2 weeks post op and couldn’t be happier!!!! Dr. Zinsser and his staff are a dream. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment!!
Dr. Zinsser has performed Multiple procedures on me over the years. There is NO other Plastic Surgeon I would use, no need, Dr. Zinsser is hands down, and I had used other Plastic Surgeons prior to seeing him, the Best in his field. My last procedure, which was in 2016, a buttock lift and augmentation, gave me the result of a 25 year old and at the time I was 54! Awesome, surgeon and staff. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
Dr Zinsser is not only a fantastic surgeon but he is one of the most compassionate doctors I’ve ever know. He takes time to explain everything he will be doing and will let you know exactly what to expect. His office personnel are just as amazing and compassionate as he is. You are treated as if you are the only patient they have. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have cosmetic surgery. I myself had the circumferential tummy tuck and just recently had liposuction on my legs and saddlebags. I’m still in the healing process but I have to tell you when I went home I cried because the results that day were AMAZING!
I had my breast augmentation yesterday at noon. I thought I was getting a lift via nipple (mastoplexy), but once he put the 400cc implant in, he said I didn't need a lift, so I guess that's cool but sad he cut my nipple and didn't do the lift, although the cut is only under half of my nipple so a small cut, opposed to a three inch cut of under the breast. I had zero pain yesterday, as the Dr gave me lost of pain meds. I didn't sleep at all last night due to the Percocet, as that stuff makes my brain spin like crazy. I haven't taken any pain meds since 4am, and it's now noon and feel pretty decent. I have my boyfriend here and he's been amazing, giving me my meds, feeding me whatever I want, helping me up, etc. I haven't needed any help going to bathroom, except last night he helped me pull down my leggings. I've been contemplating this surgery for 4 years, and will be so happy once I can see them. They are covered until I shower tomorrow. They are extremely painful, but I know it will eventually subside. Has anyone else had a breast aug via nipple? How is the healing process? Updated on 9 Jul 2017: Updated on 10 Jul 2017: Feeling a lot better today! Last night was rough as I hate sleeping propped up, as it kills my back. But today I feel almost back to normal. Haven't had to take any pain meds. Updated on 19 Jul 2017: Feel amazing. No pain other than extreme sensitivity. Almost feels like my boobs are on fire when anything touches them. I guess this is a good sign that the nerve endings are coming back and the numbness is going away. Here is a before and after shot. Updated on 8 Aug 2017: The extreme burning/hypersensitivity is finally starting to fade, although my nipples are still sore where the scar is. It also feels very thick, so I guess that's the scar tissue. Here's a couple updated photos as of today....
Doctor Zinsser gave me a circumferential lower body lift with auto augmentation of the buttocks after a 240 pound weight loss. My case was extreme and challenging. He didn't hesitate to take my case. I felt at ease and supported at every step of the procedure. The final result was better than I expected. The addition of the auto augmentation at his suggestion was a major positive change to my body shape. Additionally, unlike another consult I had, Dr. Zinsser was confident that he could preserve my belly button. Two years later, my abs are still tight and I am very happy with the result. I found Dr. Zinsser to be very tuned into my needs, cost competitive, and very talented. I feel normal in every respect - and that is a major change compared to the body issues that occur after massive weight loss.
I couldn't have asked for a more professional staff and Doctor. I had a few consultations before I found Dr. Zinsser. My main goal was to have a tummy tuck after two kids and some significant weight gain. The other doctors I had consultations with all tried to push other procedures on me. I felt that it was rude and obnoxious. Dr. Zinsser and his staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease with everything. Everything leading up to my surgery was easy and painless. The day of surgery was stress free. He called that evening to make sure all was ok. He really cares about his patients and how they are doing after surgery. He wants everyone to have the best results possible. I have no complaints and recommend his practice 100%
If you want a tighter, flatter abdomen, then a tummy tuck may be appropriate to help achieve your goals. A tummy tuck, also known as an abdominoplasty, removes excess fat and skin, and in some cases restores weakened or separated muscles. This creates an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer, often enhancing your body image and confidence. Liposuction can be a better procedure for someone who has good skin tone and good muscle tone, but just has areas of unwanted fat. Despite good health and a reasonable level of fitness, some people may still have a body with disproportionate contours due to localized fat deposits. These areas may be due to family traits rather than a lack of weight control or fitness. Liposuction slims and reshapes specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits, improving your body contours and proportion and ultimately enhancing your self-image. A tummy tuck removes fat and skin where a liposuction only removes fat (and not excess skin). Sometimes liposuction can be done with a tummy tuck if needed. Consult with your board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your expectations and outcomes.
Swelling should subside and initial results may appear in 2-4 weeks. Final results could take 3-4 months. Incision lines will continue to flatten and fade for up to one year. The tummy tuck scar is below the undergarments and is well hidden. Bikinis may be worn after a tummy tuck and by one year the scar will have healed completely. Silicone gel scar creams are over the counter and can help with the visibility of scars but have to be used twice a day for at least 3 months.
The first step is to choose a surgeon you can trust. Breast Augmentation can increase fullness and projection of your breasts, improve the balance of your figure, and enhance your self-image and self-confidence. Be prepared to discuss why you want the surgery, your expectations and outcomes. You can expect to be under general anesthesia for the surgery. The incision can be made under the breast (inframammary fold), in the axilla (transaxillary incision) or around the areola (periareolar incision). Next you will need to pick an implant size and type of implant (silicone or saline). In most cases, the implant is placed under the pectoral muscle against the chest wall. After surgery, you are wrapped in a bra and ace bandage for 48 hours. Then you may shower and rest for approximately a couple days. Usually, only about 4 to 5 days off work is expected. Pain lasts for about 2 full days and will gradually fade over time. For the first 2 days post-surgery, there should be no lifting and very minimal activity, no exercise for 3-4 weeks. Help with the children would be encouraged for at least the first 4-5 days. Over time, post-surgical swelling will resolve and incision lines will fade 6 weeks post-surgery, scars will begin to lighten to a pink shade. After one year, the scar is completely healed and should be skin color.
A mini-tummy tuck will not remove many stretch marks, as there usually isn't any undermining above the umbilicus, and only a limited amount of skin removed. The incision is certainly shorter with the mini-tummy tuck, which is reserved for patients that have good skin and muscle tone above the umbilicus, and only need tightening below. And it is because of this that most of your stretch marks are not removed with this procedure. The most important thing to do is find a board-certified plastic surgeon you feel comfortable with and discuss both the full and mini-tummy tuck, and see which procedure will help you achieve your goals better.
