54 year old woman caucasian Doctor and staff were professional and easy to talk to about outcomes and concerns. Dr. Zinsser’s bedside manner is wonderful. Surgery went well. Hardly any swelling or bruising. One large bruise under left eye. Sleeping at a slight angle comfortably on my back for a few weeks was finally figured out and was fine with a lot of pillows piled everywhere. The scalp numbness and tingling is strange but not uncomfortable. I’m at four weeks afterwards and the three incisions at my hairline are pink and there’s only one spot that still has a scab. I’m using a scar reduction product bought from Dr. Zinsser. I haven’t put makeup on yet. I did not like the medical compression Velcro strip after the first week so I changed it out for a tight yoga Alo black headband and Dr. Zinsser approved it on the two week follow up visit. I felt comfortable wearing that out in public during the day. I went out to a happy hour toward the end of week two and wore a fedora hat with my outfit and I felt good. The first four weeks, I got tired after a few hours of work and would rest during the day. Talking with friends is tiring and I’m not sure if the facial nerves from the forehead area affect down to my jawline. I’m very happy with the results. My eyelids are more open, my eyes are less tired than before, my eyebrows are higher and my forehead is tight. I don’t think anyone would even know I had anything done. My own mother doesn’t know, yet and she saw me at 3 1/2 weeks and didn’t say anything, except that I looked pretty. Quite successful.
