Recovery from breast augmentation is very straightforward. You should not have significant pain however you may notice chest tightness as you adjust to the implants in position. You should be able to return to routine activities within days, however I prefer patients do not return to full exercise routines for several weeks to permit resolution of surgical swelling. It is surprising how quickly you adjust to your new appearance. Within weeks patients have mentioned they feel as though they have had their new breast appearance forever.

It appears based upon the photos submitted that you have had significant weight loss. Although you would benefit from breast lift surgery, you arms require the most attention. Your would require a full brachioplasty (arm lift) based upon the photos, which requires an incision down the inner aspect of your arm from arm pit to elbow. These scars may be visible in short sleeves. Both the breast procedure and the brachioplasty can be performed simultaneously. This is dependent upon your health status, so a complete evaluation by your doctor is strongly recommended and required in my practice. I would prefer you wait at least 6 months and preferably 1 year prior to the second stage.

Age is not the primary consideration when it comes to breast enhancement and body contour procedures. The most important consideration is health status. If you are healthy, without significant medical conditions, a non-smoker and without . significant sun damage, you can expect very good and long lasting results. Based upon your list of desired procedures, I would list recommend a thorough examination by your physician. Explain to your physician your plan and goals. Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise on breast enhancement and body contouring. I would perform the procedures in a staged fashion, meaning at least 2 separate operations with a significant recovery period between the procedures. Choose which procedures you desire to undergo first and then discuss this with your surgeon.

Thank you for your inquiry. Your photographic views are somewhat limited, however it appears that an FDL tummy tuck is not warranted. Combination lipoabdominoplasty would certainly improve your torso contour with the liposuction extending circumferentially. The breast lift can be performed at the same time as the body procedures however this adds time to your procedure. Your health status should be optimized prior to any procedure. This is especially true of longer procedures. Based upon your age, please consider having a check up with your physician and explain what your plan and goals are.

Pre-operative evaluations are based upon your medical history and physical examination. If you have other medical conditions, laboratory tests are usually ordered. At 29 and without any significant medical history routine blood work may not be necessary. In my practice if you are undergoing general anesthesia we usually request a CBC complete blood count to evaluate both potential anemia and platelet count.

I would strongly recommend you consider weight loss prior to any surgical intervention. Getting closer to your ideal body weight would make your recovery faster and the surgical results more successful. Remember mommy makeover procedures are not weight loss surgery, they are body contour procedures. You will lose very little weight from this surgery.

The amount of time off required after this type of procedure is somewhat dependent upon what you do. If you have a "desk job", the usual minimal amount of time I recommend you plan for your recovery is 2 weeks. If your level of activity is higher and you are required to be more physically active this may increase to 4 weeks and even longer depending upon the extent pf the procedures and your overall health and physical condition. Being close to ideal body weight, improving your nutritional status and not smoking reduce the time of your recovery.

First, congratulations on your success. Your weight loss is truly remarkable. You are an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery. In most instances breast lift is part of the reduction procedure. This may be covered by insurance however you may want to call your insurance company regarding their requirements and guidelines.
Most of what you desire for the body contour procedures involves removal of excess and redundant skin. A circumferential abdominoplasty or body lift would probably be your best option. Your surgeon may be able to use the excess from your lower back as a flap to tuck into your buttocks for augmentation. This procedure, Autologous Gluteal Augmentation, is performed at the same time as your abdominoplasty.

I wanted a fuller upper lip so my Doctor decided on Juvederm, focusing on my upper lip and a little bit on the bottom. He was so nice, told me he would do half the syringe first and show me. If I wanted the rest he would do the rest. After half I was so happy I decided to stop! I love them ! He told me I would be a little swollen so I'm icing them on and off for the next couple of hours. I was born with tubular breasts and I was a bit of a tricky case because of that, and also because of complications from past surgeries done by another surgeon 10+ years ago. I have wanted to get a breast augmentation ever since I went through puberty and developed absolutely no breasts. This was a dream of mine - I never actually thought I would go through with it, because my small breasts grew on me, and in turn I grew to love them and the idea of being able to pull off any kind of outfit. The only issue was I sometimes did not feel ~womanly~ and it affected me mentally and emotionally. My best friend got a breast augmentation earlier this year, and it was a small catalyst to me getting my very own procedure. I went to a consultation at the facility she did her procedure, but I was not happy with the surgeon I met with. Although the price was ridiculously cheap, I vowed to go to the very best, no matter what cost. So anyway, after that consultation that left many questions unanswered, I did my own google search for a plastic surgeon in the area. Dr. Decorato came up, and I fell in one with a certain before-and-after photo on his website. I scheduled a consultation, and showed the photo to him. Fast forward to today. I had my 2 week post-op appointment, and I simply cannot express in words how in love I am with my breasts. I never expected them to look this amazing - I really didn't! The procedure itself was not only convenient but fairly quick. The anesthesiologist at their outpatient facility was very friendly and I actually felt comfortable being put under (I usually cry hysterically because I am terrified of not actually being put to sleep and instead feeling the whole procedure). I woke up, and I was in a lot of pain, but the nurse was so attentive and immediately helped me. I was sent home shortly after because I didn't feel pain any longer and quite frankly I was bored of laying there. I had a follow-up appointment the very next day, and with the help of pain medication, I was okay. The pain wasn't unbearable - but I was not able to sleep properly for the first week (I slept in a sit-up position on the couch). Overall - NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. At this point, two weeks after the surgery, I never believed I could feel this way about my own body. My biggest fear was waking up post-op and not liking the results, and I am so far from that. My breasts are so perfect, and I am so so so so happy I followed my instinct and went with Dr. Decorato. He is an amazing surgeon, and he really truly knows what will and won't work for your body. I am very small and petite, and I am just very happy I didn't end up with two basketballs on my chest. This may have been the greatest gift I'll ever give myself. I can't rave enough about Dr. Decorato! He is AMAZING! I had a TT done and I am having more procedures done next week! He took such excellent care of me after my surgery. He was always one step ahead so I didn't have any issues. He even sat with me after my surgery until I was able to get dressed and he actually helped me! His bedside manor is beyond anything I have ever seen from any Dr. When you visit him, he is kind and very easy to speak with and ask questions without making you feel rushed or like your annoying.
