I can't rave enough about Dr. Decorato! He is AMAZING! I had a TT done and I am having more procedures done next week! He took such excellent care of me after my surgery. He was always one step ahead so I didn't have any issues. He even sat with me after my surgery until I was able to get dressed and he actually helped me! His bedside manor is beyond anything I have ever seen from any Dr. When you visit him, he is kind and very easy to speak with and ask questions without making you feel rushed or like your annoying. When your with him you feel like your his only patient.
My results were absolutely amazing from him I look like a whole new person and I really mean that. I was very very overweight and couldn't lose it in the stomach area no matter what I did. I had a c-section and had hanging skin and fat causing me pain in my incision area and he totally removed it and made me FLAT! I was shocked when I woke up and saw the results even the same day of surgery. Now I no longer have to deal with infection issues or pain from that scar and that alone made it worth it!
Anytime I went to the office, I never waited more than 10 minutes to see him. The office is so clean and beautiful and the surgical area is immaculately clean and I love that it was right on site. it made it so private and obviously less risk of infection from going into a hospital.
His staff is excellent especially Barbra she is SO kind and helpful! Dr. Decorato seriously has changed my life! I will continue to go to him for all future procedures and recommend him to anyone and everyone!
My pictures are only 6 MONTH OUT! still swelling but the picture speaks for itself as tot he miracle he performed on me!

Did you have muscle repair done too? How was you recovery and pain level and when did you feel like yourself again?
I did have muscle repair. My recovery wasn't bad at all I was able to go up and down the stairs and move around fine for little bits at a time. The drains were annoying and I had mine in 3 weeks and after they were taken out I started to leak so my surgeon being amazing and ahead of the game took me back in the OR and cleaned me out with a local numbing needle and put a drain back in. I started to feel like myself again around a month later but swell hell is real! I'm almost 7 months PO and I still swell. I would really say recover is 1% pain 99% emotional. Because you want to hop up and do things and you can't so that is what you need to be prepared for. You will def need help the first week.
Why do you say 99% emotional? It is because you can't do the things you want or because you question whether it not you should have done the surgery?
Both, my son was 3 at the time so for me it was wanting to lift him and play and I couldn't also I slept downstairs in my recliner alone :( so it was sad at night when hubby would go to bed and I was alone and I wasn't tired because pain meds made me nap in the day. And yes swell hell makes you feel like your bigger than before or your results aren't what you thought they would be. So I say have a handy dandy picture of yourself before Because I forgot to take some so I had to wait till dr sent mine to me when I asked 2 weeks after. But once I saw it I cried and knew I was WAY smaller! Also patience is KEY! Im almost 7 months PO and I still swollen but smaller than last month. Takes a full year to see final results.
But you feel ok? Do you still get tired?
I feel fantastic I do still get swollen towards the end of the day or if I sit too long. But if I lay down for 10 mins it goes down.
Congrats on the surgery and the speedy recovery. Can you please post some pics. We are all excited to see. :)
