My first introduction with Dr. Trupiano was very impressive! He looked sharp, warm smile, shook my hand, was very professional in every way! He was a great listener. I knew what procedure I was seeking (double capsulectomy and replacement of my 30 year old silicone breast implants). I explained that a former surgeon I had consulted with refused to listen to me. I simply said that I did not have much breast tissue and therefore, my implants were placed under the pectoral muscle; submuscular. I told him I'd feel most comfortable keeping them re-placed this way. He (listened). I had been on other consults prior to Dr. Trupiano, and they obviously did not have the expertise and knowledge that Dr. Trupiano has. I was referred to him by a very happy former patient!! I knew within the first 5 minutes, (he) was the Dr. I trusted! He did a FABULOUS job. He, along with his assistant, and the excellent surgical staff, are whom I have the the utmost gratitude and respect.
Dr. Trupiano is amazing! I had a Breast augmentation and I am so happy with my results! From my first consultation to post op appointments, he always takes time to answer questions, super down to earth, great bedside manner, gives realistic expectations, and pays attention to detail. Kristy is great! She is always available for questions or to ask Dr. Trupiano questions and makes you feel like you are a number one priority. The certified surgical suit was very clean and organized. The staff was awesome! I highly recommend Dr. Trupiano!
I have always struggled with a double chin no matter my weight. I have contemplated whether or not lipo would work for me. I finally took the leap and so far Dr. Trupiano has not been a disappointment.
I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Trupiano. He’s amazing patient kind answered all of my questions. His staff is awesome when ever I called the office they were prompt and polite . I give him and his staff 5 stars .
Hi- My name is Jen and I have been a patient of Dr. Trupiano’s now for 2 years. I have had the following procedures done during this time: 1. A breast lift with “lollipop” incision and silicone implants 2. A tummy tuck to remove excess skin from having 2 babies as well as correct my umbilical hernia (also from having two babies) 3. A scar revision on my abdomen 4. Liposuction of my jawline and “double chin” 5. Restalyne filler in my cheeks and under my eyes 6. Quarterly botox injections for my frown lines Here is what I can share from my experience and perspective: Originally, when I was shopping for my “mommy makeover” I wanted to get 3 solid consultations/quotes before I made my decision. I did quite a bit of research on the procedures themselves, learned about why 2-for-1 discount surgery is not what it is cracked up to be (They typically use retired surgeons and other methods to cut costs and therefore give unsafe procedures and/or aftercare) and get a ballpark of pricing from some recent recipients of the surgeries I was looking for. Then I went to Google doctors and selected 3 practices, to include Dr. Trupiano’s. (I am not going to disclose who the other two practices were, but I will describe to you why I did not select these practices.) Let’s talk about waiting rooms and support staff. I know this sounds weird to some of you, but these speak volumes to me. At one waiting room at a prominent practice in Troy I was greeted appropriately at my consultation and the waiting room was fairly standard with a flat screen TV and some reading materials on surgical and non-surgical options on procedures they offered. Nothing to complain about really; just standard. The staff was pretty emotionally cold and I felt like I took 1000 nude pictures before I got to see the doctor. To be honest, the doctor was kind of a dick. He treated me like a number, was not really personable at all. He kept trying to ask me who else I would be seeing for consults and when I finally gave up the names of some practices I was thinking about visiting, he started to badmouth them. That was 2 strikes for me. The 3rd strike was when I was taken to a large boardroom afterwards and given a heavy sales pitch with a saleswoman and a financial advisor trying to get me to sign then and there. Strike 3. I couldn’t run out of there fast enough. The 2nd practice I visited in Bloomfield Hills was completely RIDICULOUS. A MASSIVE combination showcase/storage cabinet of cosmeceuticals, a working PORCELAIN FOUNTAIN, materials everywhere, and it was packed to the walls with waiting patients. After 45 minutes of waiting after my appointment time, I had to leave soon so I notified the staff that I would not be staying for my consult. They then seemed to care about my slightly more and within 10 minutes rushed me into a hurried consult with a saleswoman, (still haven’t seen the doctor at this point) and out of exasperation and desire to get a price out of these people for my time investment I showed this woman my breasts and stomach. She took another 30 minutes to put together my quote and I left. Again… felt like a number, horrible wait times and it felt like a heavy sales pitch with no regard to care for me during this process. Then, I went to Dr. Trupiano’s office for a consult. I was greeted very pleasantly by Pam, his assistant. She was calm and quiet and sweet. The waiting room had a very modest showcase in the corner and was smaller in size, with a small stack of well-organized reading materials and I was the only one in the waiting room because they clearly didn’t overbook themselves. To this day, I think I have only ever passed maybe 3 or 4 patients in the waiting room or hall because they don’t overlap their patient bookings. Gold star #1. When I met with the Dr., I asked him all the same questions I asked the other two practices, but the difference was, he truly LISTENED to me. Gold Star #2. He looked into my eyes when he spoke, he studied my anatomy to make sure he could provide me the procedure, he asked ME plenty of questions to understand my level of commitment and to make sure I understood the risks and rewards. Gold Star #3. He was kind, and treated my case uniquely and with respect. There was no rushing to a sales pitch and he wasn’t drooling for my money like the other places. In fact… there WAS no sales pitch. Pam presented me with a full, crisp, organized folder with an itemized quote as well as lots of information about the different types of implants, the possible incision types, etc. and both Pam and the doctor smiled and shook my hand and let me know they would be happy to schedule another consult if needed to include my husband as well if I was interested so he understood the process. Gold Star #4. When I got home, I knew for a fact I had found a ‘home’ with Dr. Trupiano. All my trepidations melted away. I felt truly cared for. When the time came for my procedures (which I had at the surgery center next door to his office to keep costs down) all of the staff, the nurses, the anaesthesiologists, the assistants as well as the doctor were incredible at keeping my nervousness at bay by making little jokes with me and using calm voices and encouraging me. When I came out of anaesthesia, there was Pam, gently smiling, warmly holding my hand and telling me how amazing I did and how excited she was for my results. Gold Star #5 Their follow-up and aftercare was also incredible. I did several post-op appointments so Dr. Trupiano so he could ensure proper healing and addressed all my questions and concerns. There was even an after-hours line for immediate concerns not within business hours, and all of it was included with the price of my surgeries. Every time I visit the office I am warmly greeted by Pam and Kristy, well cared for and most importantly; I am LISTENED TO. As far as my results…OH. MY. GOD. I literally have a new lease on life. I am 41 now and I feel like I have the sexy body of a 27 year old. My breasts are GORGEOUS and supple. I tell my girlfriends to feel them and my husband giggles when I take my top off. They look youthful and natural. My stomach is finally tight and flat and there is no sagging skin. My face is glowing, my skin is dewy and my jawline is more defined and finally matches my toned body, and because Dr. Trupiano is conservative with fillers and botox I have never looked “emotionless” or over-injected. I am regularly told that I look 10 years younger then I am and I feel the sexiest I have ever felt in my entire life, and it is all due to the fantastic decision I made in choosing Dr. Trupiano and his practice. Gold Stars, spilling out, everywhere. So… I realize that there are many highly skilled surgeons out there, with flashy offices and sales pitches. But if you want a doctor that is detail-oriented, fairly priced, honest, incredibly skilled, kind, and genuinely cares about the entire life cycle of his patients… Go with Dr. Trupiano. I promise you… you will not be disappointed.
Dr. Trupiano and his staff are phenomenal! He truly cares about you as a patient and his bedside manner is wonderful. I am thrilled with my results from him! He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, but was also very realistic about expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to him for another procedure and highly recommend him!
I was very satisfied in my experience. The doctor took a lot of time and care in his consultation and appontments that i used to take, to explain my options and answer all my questions. Even when i've did the lipo for under my chin, i've seen great results. The Doctor, secretary and staff were kind and genuine and made me feel very comfortable.
I waited seven years to find the right surgeon to fix my stomach after child birth. Dr. Trupiano and his staff are by far the most professional team I consulted with. He takes a lot of pride in his work and made the experience a good one. I had a mini tummy tuck along with liposuction of my abdomen and waist. The tummy tuck was a bit painful. I am just about 7 weeks out. I’d had several people ask if I’ve has my breasts done. My waist is so tiny again and my body sculpted. I highly recommended Dr. Trupiano. I receive compliments on a daily basis because I do not have to hide behind baggy blouses any longer. So far I couldn’t be happier! Updated on 29 Jun 2019: About 7 weeks out. Still swollen . I absolutely love how sculpted my waist and back are now! My lower abdomen is still hard but softening up. I’m wearing spanx 24/7 and will continue to do so. I can technically quit wearing them but I feel more comfortable in them still. I’m still a little numb from the liposuction but it’s improving every day.
I recently underwent a breast reduction and liposuction, Dr Trupiano was professional, thorough, and very detailed. He listened to all my questions and concerns and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted and my results surpassed my expectations. I would definitley recommend Dr Trupiano for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
I would highly recommend Dr. Trupiano. He along with his staff are very accommodating and compassionate. You don’t feel rushed when your consulting with him. He is very thorough and answers all of your questions. I have consulted with a few Plastic Surgeons and I immediately felt comfortable with him. He is very knowledgeable and personable.
Thank you for your question. First, you should have received a card or paperwork with your implant serial numbers and size on it. These implants are tracked for warranty purposes and also so the patient and surgeon knows what size was implanted if there is any revisional work ever needed. Secondly, have a conversation with your surgeon and express your concerns. There may be a reason why a smaller size was implanted. If they are the correct size then there is a chance your chest frame could of handled a bigger implant. There would of been measurements done of your breasts prior to surgery to accurately pick the correct size. Check with your surgeons office and look at your paperwork for your implants. That is a start. Good luck to you.
Thank you for your question. From your photos, a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and also a back lift (back lipectomy) would be beneficial to you. This is also called a body lift. These procedures would remove all the excess skin you have and tighten up these areas. Make sure you schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area. They will be able to tell you the procedures that are best for you. It is best to make sure your weight has been stable for at least 6 months before undergoing these types of procedures. Best of luck you!
Mild swelling is normal at the 6 week mark. Your body is still healing and it takes time to recover. You may notice up to 6 months that certain days, especially after you exercise that you will have some "flash" swelling as we call it. Your body is readjusting. It will eventually stop but with liposuction patience is the key. Your body will continue to recover for up to 1 year. Returning to exercise is recommended. Keeping up your healthy lifestyle will help the weight off after surgery. Best of luck to you.
Congratulations on your weight loss. It's not an easy thing to do. Sometimes genetics plays an important part of where fat comes off of or stays on. We all have our areas that seem to be the hardest to lose weight from. You may want to adjust your lifestyle a little. Try some exercise to speed up the metabolism and eat high fiber and protein rich foods. You could do liposuction of that area but without a lifestyle change you may experience weight gain even after the surgery. My suggestion is a little diet and exercise. If that does not work, you can consider liposuction to your stubborn areas. Best of luck!
Upon examination, a board certified plastic surgeon will tell you what they feel is your best option. The decision is based upon skin elasticity, how much redundant skin you have, stretch marks, and how much extra adipose (fat) is present on your abdomen. Your surgeon will also do an examination to see if you need your abdominal muscles tightened back up from having children. Express your concerns to your surgeon and they will help you make the right choice.
