Knowledgeable and very professional. Takes the time to answer any and all questions and makes it an overall wonderful experience from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend you go anywhere else. Takes a lot of time and focuses on the tiny details.
I have had nothing but trouble over the past 15 years with my saline implants. I had 2 separate deflations and struggled with previous surgeons telling me they couldn't fix my issue with moving my pocket above the muscle (my left was under the muscle, my right above). After the 2nd deflation I was fed up with the surgeons in my area. A friend of mine went to Dr. Sarbak, so I thought I would meet him and see what he had to say. Right from the start he explained what he would be able to fix and assured me it wasn't a complicated case. I have never been more pleased with the results. He knew exactly how to fix my issues and now my breasts are symmetrical and actually look real. I went from saline to silicone and I wish I had done this all along. Dr. Sarbak is the best!
I got a BA on December 11th 2017 with Doctor Sarbak. Him and his staff are amazing! I felt so safe and in great hands. The anesthesiologist was phenomenal as well, it made my recovery go by so smoothly. I received round stable form silicone implants over the muscle and it was 385 cc’s. I’m currently 2 1/5 weeks post op and I’m feeling pretty good. I haven’t taken any medication for over a week but my left breast just feels a bit more tense. I have complete sensation on my right breast but none on my left. My PS told me it can take up to a year. Tomorrow I will begin using silicone sheets to cover my scars and help with them.
I had a tummy tuck, soley for extra skin being removed. no stretch marks had abs. Once I got my surgery I was horrified how the scar was much higher then talked about( there wasn't enough skin) I knew I'd have a scar, but at week 4, it turned into a hemotrophic scar. I was completely mortified, repulsed and remorseful at what I had done over such a small imperfection. It had turned into uglier than ever now. I saw embrace online and it seemed to be the only hope. I purchased it, knowing it was my last hope. I had a consult for laser and it seemed like a lot of treatments/money for no promises. I went with Embrace. The 1st 4 weeks I was amazed at how flattened my scar had become..I could not believe my eyes. I used them exactly as directed, only I need 2 strips to cover my long scar, which is why I ordered 2 packs(for an 8 week supply) It was worth EVERY Penny!!!! I am so thankful to Embrace for giving me hope. I am at 11 weeks post surgery and am happy how much my scar has improved. After a year i am allowed to tan the area, so it will be even more healed and evened out. You went thru all of this , this extra step is so worth it, My scar looked WAY WORSE than any of my friend's tummy tuck scars..they were horrified, but now mine looks better than their's, at only 11 weeks. LOVE,LOVE, LOVE EMBRACE. THANK YOU!!! These results are taken only 7 weeks apart. Updated on 19 Sep 2017: I really never thought anyone would think I had scar revision work or " photoshopped" the pic. So I will take it as a wonderful compliment. Those that doubt my review/photo will be the ones missing out on amazing improvement. I simply wanted to share a product that I truly believe in and hope to help someone as devastated as I was over my bad scar. I'm still self conscious, but I am so very thankful how much it has improved. Tip: I also took the time, altho somewhat painful, to massage my scar while it built up so much extra collagen.I think that helped circulate things. Thank you Embrace!!!!?
My lift was more repair of a bad one done 14yrs ago. Much more than lift. Eyes, fat graft, etc. For 14 yrs I never saw a pic of me I liked. My face was uneven and full of what looked like dents, dimples, and ripples. The first couple months after my original surgery, I would see people following me around the store trying to get a better look at me. For the 1st yr people would look shocked when they saw me. Most Drs don't want to fix another's mistakes, but Dr Sarbak took it on. One day post op, I knew this was different. I look better all bruised up than I did before. I can't tell you how scared I was that it could just end up worse, but I just needed to try. Only one week later, and I'm happier than I can say. I keep staring in the mirror. I even plastered my pic on facebook, bruises and all. Updated on 21 Jun 2016: 14 yrs ago, I had a facelift in California. From th moment the bandages were off, I knew I was in trouble. My face was uneven, and I had severe rippling, dents, and dimples. For the first year, I'd hear people whisper things like "did you see her face?" when I walked past and some would follow me through a store to get a better look. In a couple years it softened enough so I didn't look as freakish, but I never took a photo that I actually liked, and if I would see someone looking at me, I could never feel that it was because I looked good. I was always scared to get a re-do because I knew there was always the possibility that I could make it worse. Today, my facelift (plus lateral brow lift, some other eye work, and fat grafting) is 8 days old and even with the bruising I see how much better I look. When the nurse hands me a mirror, I can't stop staring at myself. I can't tell you how good it feels to look at my face and not just have critical things to say about what I see. Updated on 6 Jul 2016: Sorry, I don't know how to get the photos straight. Updated on 17 Sep 2016: I'm now almost 14 weeks out and I feel so good. I have very few lines on my face and I am still very pleased with the results. I was worried about the profile and how that normally is the dead giveaway when someone has had a facelift. I just don't think I have that problem after this surgery. (I sure did the 1st time.) I am going to try to download the latest photo, but I am not good at this. I changed my hair to go with my changed face. Almost 63 yrs old and my next adventure with Dr Sarbak is a TT, breast lift, lipo (flank), and fat graft (my bottom.) I'll let you know!! Updated on 15 Apr 2018: I’ve been asked to put a more current photo up so I am going to try to add a couple, but it’s anybody’s guess if I can do it. I lightened my hair because at 64, you really shouldn’t have nearly black hair...especially if it’s not natural. Remember, gray hair is Mother Nature ‘s way of saying its time to lighten up. I’m still very happy with his work. My neck might be changing some, but I’ve also gained a little weight. These pics are the most recent ones. Updated on 27 Jul 2019: I’ve gotten some messages to post updates as time goes on so here goes. I’m on a diet and losing hair (nightmare) along with weight. It certainly does age you, and with weight loss comes some gaunt-ness, not a great look. Overall, I’m still happy and am so grateful to Dr Sarbak because he absolutely gave me “ME” back. The me who was self confident and just felt good, you know? There is nothing better than that. Thanks to many who’ve said such nice things to me. I appreciate you more than I can say.
First of all I am so happy with my results. From the moment I had my consult to my procedure I felt great about Dr. Sarbak and his team. I am so happy I decided to go with the TUBA. It was very quick to heal and I have no scars. Dr. Sarbak really looks at your body type and finds the best size for you and what will make you happy. He went over many different options and procedures. He was honest and I really appreciated him calling me the night of my surgery to see how I was doing. Great bed side manner! I would suggest to anyone looking for a great doctor, Dr. Sarbak. A+++ in my book. I feel like a new woman and a better version of myself. People even think my boobs are real because they look so natural!
I wanted replace what I loss due to nursing 2 kids, gravity & feel better about myself. I did my research & saw a few others & knew that Dr. Sarbak was the one I felt the most comfortable with. The ladies in the office are also very nice & helpful! The surgery was performed in his office & I had very little pain after. The Dr. called later that afternoon to check on me himself, which I thought was Very professional!
I had 360 Lipo and a Brazilian Butt Lift in July. Waist isn't really smaller, butt is bigger. I feel like my back is lumpy from the lipo, but more importantly my butt is very lumpy. Its embarrassing. I spent more money than most were charging and feel like it should look better. During my follow ups they say "it looks great!" But I'm so sad. They said at 6-8 weeks it'll settle and look nice. Then they said 4 months, then 6, and now he says it'll be a year before it smooths out and looks good. I have some pocket of fat on one side, but he isn't concerned with it. I feel just as terrible about my butt now as I did before I did it. I think I should've gone to Miami where they have more experience, and its cheaper.
In California I had gotten 1 syringe of voluma in my upper cheek area for the last several years. My cheeks are already full so this gives definition and a nice lift. My face only better. That's the goal right? I went to Dr. John Sarbak after reading his good reviews. He did the opposite and put filler in the lower cheek, 2 syringes! I waited 3 weeks and it looked terrible. I didn't know my face. I tried to get a follow up but it was cancelled due to his going out of town suddenly. I went to Max at Ocean Dr. Med Spa and he said you only do that if you're over 70 and in need of volume. He said women have filler in the upper cheek and men in the lower cheek and jaw. He then had to give me 2 syringes in the upper cheek to balance out the frog like appearance Dr. Sarbak gave. He told me to go back to Sarbak and he should dissolve it no problem. Made an appt. with Sarbak and they said he will "look at it" but perhaps not disolve. On the day of my appt. I was called and told to come in right away or else wait for another time. I had an appointment but they changed it last minute. Very odd. Went in and Dr. Sarbak was not happy. He refused to dissolve and said it's normal to swell for over a month. No, it's not. I've done this for years. He said it's just swollen. I said, so it will go down? He said, "your not listening to me!" He was deflecting, breathing heavily in his mask and pacing. Wow. Do yourself a huge favor and go to Ocean Dr. Med Spa. After all, it's your face! They know what they're doing. Updated on 3 Apr 2022: I've had fillers for several years. I went to Dr. Sarbak for filler in my upper cheek as I've always done, 1 syringe total. He put 2 syringes in my mid cheek and lower cheek where I never needed it. I not only didn't recognize my face 1 month after but it was unattractive at best. I went back to have it dissolved and he refused in a very aggressive manner. I went to another provider who said we never put filler in the lower and mid cheek unless you are hollow usually after age 70. I had the filler put where I needed it and it helped tremendously but I still have the overfill to the mid and lower cheek from Dr. Sarbak. He was not only unreasonable but didn't listen at all to what I wanted. To top it off he made me look bad. Please go elsewhere. Your face is most important!
He quoted me on lift -- but his manner was kind of like not so much there? I asked him some questions and he was cooperative -- didn't like the fact that I had sculptra etc or any fillers because when he does the "lift" for me me - he wants to know what he is dealing with - yet he advertises these same procedures?
Technically your best result will be with the sequence of BBL and then TT. You mentioned a goal of having the “best flat tummy.” If that is truly your goal then you need to consider the extra fatty tissue that you have deep to you stomach muscles inside your belly around your organs. This type of fat can’t be removed surgically but it can make your belly bulge outwards even after a perfectly done tummy tuck. The only way to decrease this bulge and make your TT result the best it can be is for you to lose weight. In other words in this situation YOU get to decide and truly control how good your results will be. I hope this helps and wish you the best!
It is absolutely possible to improve the upper abdomen in a tummy tuck. This is an area that was somewhat neglected with older techniques. There is a tissue layer called Scarpa’s fascia between the skin and your muscle layer. The fat beneath this layer can be safely removed and the fat above it can be thinned with liposuction. There are some limitations in how aggressive your board certified plastic surgeon can be because you don’t want to thin the tissue to a point where you affect the blood supply and risk healing issues. In those situations it may be better to consider two separate surgeries: one to thin (liposuction) and then a tummy tuck. I hope that this helps. Best of luck!
I understand your frustration. It would be best to have more details and to examine you to help figure out your best coarse of action. There are many different liposuction methods such as internal laser (smart lipo etc), internal ultrasound (Vaser etc), vibrational, and conventional. Each has their own unique set of nuances and risk factors. Although liposuction has been portrayed to the public as an “easy” procedure it really isn’t. I can’t stress how important it is to have cosmetic surgery procedures done by a board certified plastic surgeon. Board certified plastic surgeons have the skill, knowledge and training to avoid such outcomes and also have the ability to deal with them in the very rare instance that they do occur . I wish you well in your recovery.
From the photographs you look early in the postoperative period. Your implants will drop because of post surgical settling. They will also drop due to gravity over time. The bandeau can help speed the first process. After about three months you should have an idea about where your final nipple position will end up. As the implant drops the nipples will rise. I wouldn’t recommend a breast lift before you have completely settled. It’s always nice to avoid additional scars if you can. I hope that this helps.
An exam is vital. Having said that what I see from your photos is that the skin above your belly button looks fairly tight. In a full tummy tuck the skin just above your belly button needs to travel down close to your pubic bone. In you that may not be possible. For that reason I would be leaning more toward a mini with liposuction. I hope that this helps.
