Facial Discoloration - Metairie, LA

I'm in my mid-40s and started having redness on my face and areas of brown pigmentation that were getting darker. My husband started to notice and then that's all I could see in the mirror - discoloration. My doctor recommended V-Beam laser treatment for the redness. After 3 treatments, each approx. 1 month apart, there is noticeable difference. The discoloration has become much lighter and it's no longer all I see when I look in the mirror without makeup. I'll probably have one more treatment because I can still see some redness, although I doubt it's noticeable anymore to anyone else. I'm pleased with the results. (I will note the laser treatment is very uncomfortable and causes significant swelling for approx. 3 days - but it's worth it!) As for the brown pigmentation, my doctor gave me some bleaching cream, which I've been using now for about 2 months, that is slowly lightening the areas.
