I hated my pot belly and even after Jazzersize diet changes and years of work it wouldn't budge so I sought the best for my procedure Dr. James Lyons!!! Love my results!!!! Only 11 days post op but I love what I see!!!!

Three weeks ago I underwent a facelift with Dr. Lyons. Before the procedure I struggled with whether or not to go through with it. I questioned whether it was the right thing to do; shouldn’t I grown old gracefully, will people think it was exceptionally vain, especially given that I am a man. Will I look so changed that I will be forced to explain to everyone I know? Will I regret it? Shouldn’t I leave well enough alone?




Still, I was intrigued by the prospect of tightening up some falling skill so I booked the procedure for six weeks in advance, thinking I had time to think about it. The day grew nearer and I had to pay my deposit. At this point I began to panic a little. The uncertainty kept me awake at night. I convinced myself it was easier just to back out and forget about it than to deal with this torturous uncertainty. Still, I knew that if I didn’t do it, I would likely regret it. I was in a frenzied state of doubt and fear. It was at this point I began reading up on the varying facelift procedures, I read reviews of plastic surgeons, recovery times, risks, etc. I had some folks that I did share my plan with telling me to get a second opinion. 



Finally, I was able to settle it in my mind with a simple realization. Knowing I could not anticipate all the variables, I had to settle one simple question, do you trust your doctor? Period. Done. Having known Dr. Lyons for many years I was completely comfortable in placing my trust in him. I showed up for the procedure. 



Now, only three weeks out, I could not be more pleased. Not only did I not come out looking like Mickey Rourke, I have just been to several large family and social events and went undetected. My fears of looking freakish were for not. Still, my chin line is tighter, the loose skill on my neck, gone and my face appears refreshed and rested. The change was subtle, just as I had hoped yet obvious to those who knew to look for it. My wife thinks I look 20 years younger –she exaggerates but I do think it turned the clock back years. The worst part of this entire process was the self-imposed uncertainty. The procedure and the recovery were the easy parts. 



I called Dr. Lyons office today to say, thank you. All my fears and apprehensions settled when I put my trust in Dr. Lyons and his staff, Stephanie and Patrick. They were fantastic. As a further note of gratitude I am writing this well-deserved review for anyone who may be suffering over these same doubts.

I felt truly understood by you and not judged whatsoever for desiring cosmetic surgery as a 23-year-old young woman. It’s amazing how just a slight shift in the appearance of my previously disproportionate nose has made such a difference in my life already. I am more confident, less self-conscious in social settings, and I finally feel like my outer self finally reflects how I feel internally. This seemingly minor surgery has made for a majorly positive transformation in my life.

Had power assisted lipo on upper and lower abdomen , flanks and pubis area. Wanted to finally get rid of Menapot belly. Sick of looking pregnant. Want to workout more but belly gets in the way. Excited to see the final results ! I'm not expecting a completely flat stomach but i do expect a significant difference. Was told I am a perfect candidate -we'll see. I am 9 days post procedure. Sore and swollen but already see a difference in certain areas. I'm amazed at how (relatively) easy this was ! Any pain was tolerable. Only first few days. Had the procedure on Friday , back to work on Tuesday. I'm already back at the gym -though limited right now. I've started to develop some lumps and bumps but was told to start massage Will take about 3 -6 months to see final result. Will post again at that time

I first consulted Dr. Lyons on February of 2014 for a tummy tuck. He was very professional and explained the process to me in detail, and answered all my questions. I had my procedure in March 2014. Unfortunately I had to be hospitalized with a hematoma stemming from a preexisting coagulation issue. While in the hospital, Dr. Lyons took time to come and personally visit me from Connecticut to Rockland County, NY. I thought that was going above and beyond for a patient. He checked my stitches and make me feel at ease. Since then, I had followed up with Dr. Lyons during the course of the year and he made sure that I was satisfied with my procedure. Because of the hematoma I had a slight lump on my lower left side which Dr. Lyons corrected with two additional procedures. I was greatly appreciated with him correcting the issue as he is meticulous about making sure everything is done perfectly. I am now seeing him for the last procedure and he has always maintained that he will make sure I am satisfied. I would highly recommend this extraordinary Plastic Surgeon to anyone looking to get work done. He is a perfectionist, and you’ll be in good hands knowing all details will be handled professionally and accurately.

Hello, I had the surgery to help getting rid of excess skin from previous pregnancies. I'm still in the healing process since I had the initial procedure as I had to go get two other touchups from surgery complications. My tips forgetting g optimal results would be to maintain a healthy diet so one could maintain their results. Since surgery I have lost 44 pounds going from 180lbs to 136 lbs. This experience and achieving my weight loss has left me feeling more confident. I will post before and after photos once I'm done with the healing process.

After years of trying to lose the weight gained in pregnancy, I gave up. Diet and exercise just wasn't giving me results and I started to avoid ALL MIRRORS, feel depressed, defeated and lacking confidence. I started looking into other options out of frustration. Having been to Dr. Lyons 10 years earlier, I immediately went to his website, as I trust no doctor, like I trust him. I was a little nervous on the unknown of being awake during the Slim Lipo procedure, but at this point, I was ready for whatever was to come to begin my road to a better self.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate discomfort a 2 and only in certain spots for a few seconds at a time. Totally bearable and worth it. I didn't expect this to be a fix it for my problem, but rather a start but the results have exceeded my expectations in just a few weeks post op. I recommend this procedure, it was well worth it.
Pros: Quick procedure, no anesthesia, minor discomfort, instant results that improve more and more over time. 6 weeks post op already shows major improvement, full result takes 3 months.

I had a tummy tuck 7 years ago in Naples, FL. I never felt the full results of this procedure and it was a painful recovery. I was referred to see Dr. Lyons and he knew right away what went wrong! I actually never needed the tummy tuck and now I have the scar forever.

Dr. Lyons was able to quickly get me into his schedule for smartlipo. The staff made the process very easy and comforting for the post op.

The day of the procedure is very relaxing and the staff was with me during the entire process and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Lyons made me feel comfortable and since he knew my concerns they were all addressed. He was great during the procedure and made sure I was comfortable.

Everything the staff told me pre, during and post op was exact. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made and look forward to the upcoming results of the smart lipo procedure.

Notes to considering patients: You may find less expensive prices but going with a Doctor who is highly respected in the industry, has 2 books and is a perfectionist should make you feel comfortable that you will be getting the best care. Not to mention the professional and caring staff!

Amazing is what my friend said when she saw me a week after my Slim Lipo to my abs (upper and lower) and flanks. I did a ton of research prior to deciding that Dr. Lyons was the Dr. I wanted to have my procedure done by, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I'm still swollen after 1 week, but the difference in how I look has changed my life. I have a new confidence and am absolutely thrilled with my results. I can't wait until my 3 month follow up. They'll take after pictures at that time and then I'll post the before/after pictures here. I want to also mention staff members Penny and Stefanie who are both wonderful, caring, beautiful, professional, warm women. I can't recommend Dr. Lyons highly enough. I read his book 'Lose The Fat, Lose The Years' and fell in love with his personality even before I met him in person. Brilliant book, brilliant man. Thank you Dr. Lyons!!

Dr. Lyons and their staff were most encouraging and clear. The procedure was so easy, I was awake most of the time and remember funny conversations. I went to a concert 2 days after the surgery, back to work after 3, back to the gym after 5. After 2 weeks I had a follow up appointment and I was already so happy with the results. Flat stomach, no love handles and contoured back and waist. I could have worn a bikini that same day! I was shown photos of the day of the procedure and I could not believe the change! It's been a month now. I've gone down 3 sizes and the recovery continues being relaxed and steady. This is the best service and the best option I had. Thank you, Dr. Lyons and all your kind staff.

I was apprehensive to have this surgery performed, but once I met with him, I booked my appointment that very day.The Staff is very professional and Dr. Lyons is a truly gifted surgeon. He explained the procedure, what to expect, the down time and what I could realistically hope for. He and his staff took such good care of me. He is a very competent plastic surgeon with a warm and welcoming bedside manner. He and his staff are very caring. I feel like I went to a spa for the day, and 2 weeks later have seen the results of a beautiful job well done with expert precision. I am more than pleased with his artistry.
