After breast augmentation, it is expected to have a small amount of fluid around the implant and this does not need to be sampled if your plastic surgeon does not suspect ALCL. This presents as a thin sliver of fluid that is difficult to retrieve with a needle (high risk of puncturing implant). However, if there is a suspicion of ALCL, often presenting as a significant amount of periprosthetic fluid, then the fluid can be more safely aspirated for testing.

I did double eyelid surgery with Dr Chia earlier this year and had great result. During the initial consultation, she did a thorough examination of the original state of my eyelids, listened carefully to my concerns and extensively discussed options to achieved my desired looks. She explains clearly how the procedures will go, with clear pros/cons and does not over-promised. Each interaction, including the post surgery reviews, was never rushed and she had been patient and professional to make sure she answer all concerns. In terms of technique, Dr Chia does 5-point sutures to create the double eyelids which are more lasting (most doctors do only 3-point sutures which has higher chances of loosening after couple of years). It is exactly the look i wanted and I'm satisfied.
I went to Dr Chia to correct tuberous breasts and to get an augmentation. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 multi focal breast cancer and went through breast reconstruction surgery by Dr.Chia. Dr. Chia is one of the most empathetic persons I have met and her empathy is wonderfully complimented by her skill in plastic surgery. I had bigger saggy breasts and Dr.Chia used it to my advantage, performing oncoplastic reconstruction where the part of breast remaining after tumor removal was reconstructed and the other breast was reduced to match the size. Suffice to say that after almost a year, I look much better than I did before surgery. I had minimal issues following surgery and Dr. Chia and her team were a constant source of support throughout the process including support for insurance claims. She made one of the most traumatic experiences of my life bearable and for this I will always be thankful. I hope and pray no one has to go through this situation but if you ever have to go under the knife for any kind of plastic surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Chia.
Dr Chia was professional and meticulous. I had asymmetrical eyelids and she also noticed one eye had looser skin. The procedure was smooth and healing was great too, after a month my eyelids are much more symmetrical and the extra space accounted for my eye with looser skin made it much more even now that the swelling is gone. On the consultation day, Dr Chia listened to all my concerns and advised on the possible surgery procedure to rectify my asymmetry and sagging problems. As motiva also have the latest joy implants, Dr Chia did not push for that as she knew we needed to firm up the breasts so ergonomix 1 would be more ideal. Consultation went well and I paid for deposit on the day itself! One month later came the surgery day. I would say Dr Chia is one of little words and more actions, we don’t chat a lot but I trust her with my breasts. Everything went well on the day, anaesthetist was good, assuring everything is okay, and the next moment I know, I woke up with a pair of new breasts already.
