I had this surgery almost two years ago now. The results are exactly what I wanted. Behind my nipples I had two balls of tissue around the size of large marbles which had been there since I was a teenager. I work out and had a good shaped chest - all apart from nipples that stuck out which I hated the look of when wearing a t-shirt. I had the surgery, which went well (although I found very painful) and couldn't wait to see the results. 6 months later when healed, My chest looked odd and I told Dr Hassan I wasn't happy with how it looked. I went back in for surgery and he performed minor liposuction, free of charge, at the bottom of my chest. Instantly, my chest looked great. When I was healing, large balls of scar tissue formed and almost mimicked the balls of tissue which were the original issue which made me panic thinking it was all a waste of time. I researched about injections which shrink scar tissue and asked the Dr to do this which he was happy to do. Two weeks after the injections the scar tissue had disappeared. I'm extremely happy with the results. T-shirts fit great on my chest with no nipples poking out and the fat removed from the bottom of my chest has brought out some of the definition from the hard work I put into the gym. I'd definitely recommend this procedure by this dr for anybody who is bothered by 'gyno' issues.
I have suffered with Gynecomastia since I hit puberty around the age of 14-15. I have always been very into sport and exercise and never sat indoors. I was always outside; whether this was playing with my friends or going out running/cycling. I had quite bad puppy fat during my early teen years so I guess I just thought the 'moob' look was more from my fat. However, when I lost all this weight my nipples still seemed to stay puffy and really stood out and this is where the psychological effects begun. I have missed out on so much fun such as going to the beach/coast with my friends and going in the sea, going swimming and wearing certain clothes especially white t-shirts as you can just see two bouldering nipples peering through and I had to keep adjusting my top, sometimes wearing an under top just so that no-one could see. It was so uncomfortable but had to be done, I couldn't bear the embarrassment! I even went on a holiday with my family and didn't take my top off once, didn't even go in the pools or in the sea and bearing in mind the heat I'd be sweating buckets and refusing to take my top off (people found it odd). I started going gym and got really toned and built good muscle mass and my body fat was about 10%. I had a six pack and really toned look however, my nipples were just the only thing letting me down, looked really puffy especially after the workout. I couldn't bare it any longer so saved up and paid 3500 to get my glands removed. I went up to Be Cosmetics Surgery Group in London and had a consultation with Dr Nurein himself, he was very helpful and thorough and kind and after this we agreed on a date for my procedure. About 2 months later, here I am lying on an op bed getting the glands removed under local anaesthetic. I was so excited, not nervous at all because I couldn't wait to start a new happy life with this new body and go from there. I am 4 days post op, pain is minimal, swelling is there but not as bad as first day. I'm finding I am very itchy due to the compression vest and around my stitches but I have read that is a normal symptom. I have taken a few photos of pre op and post op, I still think I have puffy nipples but guess that is normal from the swelling and won't see true transition for a few months. I'm going to get in the gym and lose some fat that I have on my chest and stomach and love handles when I am able to after my recovering. I am getting my stitches taken out on saturday so hopefully swelling will have gone down even more by then. Overall, I'm very grateful for Dr Nurein and his team's work, very impressive and very kind, would be sure to recommend to everyone and anyone. If anyone has any questions please ask as I would be happy to answer in regards to gyno & gyno surgery. Updated on 16 Mar 2019: Hi guys, So it’s now day 12 of my post Gynecomastia op. The recovery has been good with no problems so far, minimal pain but a lot of itching due to the compression vest! I’ve been changing the bandages quite regularly and been washing normal but not been allowing soap go in my wounds. This update is just to show you how it’s looking 12 days after and if anyone can tell me their feedback and say if it’s looking normal and if I’m healing well? I’m really happy with the results so far so any feedback will be highly appreciated. Updated on 14 Jun 2019: Post 3 month Op, been going gym, working chest. Would like to get some feedback to see what people think, any improvement? Must admit this is straight after a Gym session so nipples are hard. Would appreciate what anyone thinks, do I need to lose more fat off my body? Can still feel hard lump behind both nipples and when they aren’t hard they still have that puffy element look to them Updated on 14 Jun 2019: So this is a photo of what my chest looks like on a daily basis. I can’t help but notice that my nipples haven’t reduced in size which is what I intended to happen when I got Gyno surgery. Can people please give me feedback and tell me what they think of it.. I personally don’t notice much of a difference compared to what they used to look like... do I just need to tone my chest? Lose fat!? Updated on 18 Jun 2019: Hi, These are some before and after photos, the affer photos were about 2 weeks post surgery. Can you guys notice any improvements? I am starting to worry thinking whether there is an improvement or not, do you guys still see puffiness? I have got scar tissue now under my right which was a lot puffier than my left but it’s still quite swollen potentially after 3 months and after rubbing the nipple for too long it’s avrually got quite painful and believe the scar tissue has increased.
I had a bbl with Dr. Nurein and I couldn't be happier with the results! He very quickly understood what I was looking for and we both agreed in what could be done. He took a long time to analyse my body and my concerns with the attention to detail of an artist. And most important, he listened to me until we 100% agreed of what would be the ideal result. I was a bit skeptical because I had seen other patients that got this procedure done had very poor results so I didn't want to go through a surgery unless I could see a big difference afterwords... Well thanks God I listen to my intuition and did it with him!!! My results are WOW... Dr. Nurein did exactly what we agreed at the consultation and even exceeded my expectations. The experience was overall amazing and I always felt safe and able to communicate with him 24/7 which helped a lot. If you really want to be in the best hands, don't hesitate to go to him! Thanks Dr. Nurein!! One of the best decisions of my life :)
I am a 20 year old university student from London. In general, I would describe myself as a confident and healthy individual, however, this can all be nullified if I'm wearing a top that shows off my biggest insecurity. Appearance isn't everything, but after years of playing sports and looking after my body, I have had enough of this problem that has affected me since I was about 13 years old. As you can see from my before pictures I have a noticeable case of gynecomastia and I believe I was just unlucky in the way it developed. Typically, during puberty, it develops due to the imbalance of hormones in the adolescent body. Unfortunately, when this happened at the age of 13, my enlarged glands never went away. I have been researching the condition through various YouTube videos, blogs and have even spoken to a number of experts in the field; all of which gave me the same advice, which is surgery. It is a big decision financially, but in my opinion, not in any other way as the only way to remove gyno is through surgery. I can assure you that I researched the UK options thoroughly and as soon as I stumbled upon Dr Hassan Nurein's page I was pleasantly surprised. The competitive pricing coupled with genuine pictures and reviews are what intrigued me initially. Once I made my enquiry I swiftly received a call from the surgeon's right hand man. Matthew is a top man who keeps everything simple and informative. I got my consultation booked and went to Harley Street to meet Dr Hassan for him to professionally confirm the condition and explain the process of removing it. So far my experience has been perfect. I'll be posting a 1 month and then 3 month picture update because I hope I'll have a perfectly sculpted chest by the latter picture date.
Hassan was my surgeon in Sheffield for an FUE transplant for 900 grafts to correct my receding hairline. He was exceptionally thorough and careful, apart from the local annesthic I didn't feel a thing and he life my head looking very neat and tidy which has healed up nice and quickly. I would definitely recommend him he really cares about his profession.
I had my Vaser lipo with Dr.Nurein 2 days ago and although I am in a lot of pain, I have to say I can see the difference already, especially on my hips! My legs are still too swollen to tell, but the doctor said it can be between 2-6 months to see the full results. Do expect bruising and swelling, and if you don't have a high tolerance for pain, brace yourself during the procedure. I don't mind pain too much, and the procedure was very straight forward! From start to finish it took about an hour and a half. I will post photos at a later date with before/after results when my swelling has gone down, but I was overall happy with how it went and it was the best price I could find, especially for London!
I have extensive balding Norwood 6 and require around 4000 grafts but unfortunately I have thin donor area. A tentative enquiry some years ago lead me to believe that i would never be a good candidate for a hair transplant. 2 years ago and started researching hair Transplant Providers and began taking finasteride medication. I attended several consultations and was offered a variety of treatments. Vinci wanted to fly me to Spain for a combination FUT/FUE Procedure costing £8000 Zeiring recommended 2 FUT procedures costing £7500 each Hair repair clinic said that I would require a maximum FUE procedure costing £5000 but that I would need to consult with the surgeon to produce a detailed treatment plan. Not only were they the cheapest but they were the only provider to offer a consultation with the surgeon who would actually be performing my procedure. I met with Dr. Hassan Nurein at his surgery at 57 Harley Street. Straight away the doctor told me that it would be a difficult case but that whatever happened I would have more hair so that there would be some improvement. The surgeon drew different hairlines and explained to me the different results that i could expect dependent on the shape and height of the hairline we agreed. I learned that Dr. Nurein performed FUE procedures for 9 different providers including 2 that I had already seen and whom had both quoted over £7000 for a 2500 graft FUE procedure. I booked my surgery and had my procedure last week. I travelled to London by train and arrived at 10.00 AM. We drew the hairline, completed the paperwork and the technicians took me through to theatre and shaved my head. For the next 4 hours I was face down staring at the surgeon's feet whilst he extracted an impressive 1950 grafts. My surgeon consulted with a colleague during the procedure and they discussed the extractions and adjusted things as the grafts were quite small There was no pain after the initial anesthetic injections and there is TV and radio to keep you occupied or you can do what I did and stick your own playlist on. It's your special day after all. After a break for lunch, the surgeon made the incisions and handed me over to the technicians for the planting. With three technicians implanting the grafts at the same time, everything went very quickly and a couple of hours later I was back in the surgeon's office receiving my aftercare instructions and products. I am absolutely delighted with the results and with the quality of treatment that i received. It is now 12 days since my procedure and I am healing nicely. Sharon from Hair Repair Clinic has phoned me almost every day to guide me through the aftercare process and I look forward to posting updated pictures as things progress
Dr Nurein's reputation precedes him and I had thoroughly researched all the prospective surgeons prior to deciding to have the vaser procedure performed by him. He and his nursing staff were absolutely professional and friendly in their demeanour and the procedure was performed to perfection and effectively with bearable pain. I had vaser performed on upper and lower Abs and the doctors bedside manner and attitude were impeccable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as he is an excellent surgeon!! Updated on 12 Feb 2015: Second week post Vaser with Dr Nurein and I am ecstatic with the results! Definite change observable!
Hi I've been researching Vaser Lipo for quite some time now and after a few consulations decided to book the.proceedure with Dr Nurein at Liverpool next week. Im having my inner and outer thighs and knees done with fat transfer to the hollows in my hip area, just above my outer thighs. I have also booked several lymphatic drainange massages with a local therapist and have started taking arnica in the hope to might keep the swelling down and minimize the bruising. Has anyone had a similar proceedure recently, any advice greatly received ..... Updated on 17 May 2013: Well I attended the clinic yesterday to have my procedure, I had to wait a few hours because there was a delay but the staff made me comfortable and where very friendly. Prior to the procedure I had a further consultation with Mr Nurein and we discussed my procedure, risks etc and also I wanted a further area doing which he was happy to do. I can only praise Mr Nurein and his team during the procedure, he was extremely proffessional and very caring about my needs asking regularly if I was okay or if it was hurting, it was very uncomfortable at times but he stopped when needed to add more anesthetic. I also had fat transfer to the hollows between my hip and thigh bones (see before pictures when uploaded). The procedure took around 2 and half hours then half an hour to clean and dress the incisions and put me in my garment. I was given all the necessary pain relief, antibiotics, dressings etc to take home and I have arranged for a medical friend to remove my stitches in a weeks time. I must say I most definately couldn't have driven home as i experienced alot of pain to my left knee during and after the procedure and struggled to bend my legs to get into the car. I haven't had much in the way of drainage either but im only 8 hours post op. I feel very sore and swollen this morning but don't require any pain relief at present so I suppose thats a good thing. Just to update I had my inner/outer thighs, inner and tops of knees, flanks and fat transfer. I really can't praise Mr Nurein and his surgical team enough. I will keep you updated with my healing progress so watch this space :) Updated on 17 May 2013: Updated on 30 May 2013: Here are my after photographs post-op at day 9, as you can see not much difference at all but I'm very swollen, I've uploaded these today at post-op day 13 and I'm still very much the same, however my compression garment feels less tight which is a bonus. I'm staying optimistic at this stage for the results I hope for. Will try and post further photographs in a week or so.
There are various options - medication such as Finasteride, prescribed by a GP or a topical stimulant such as Minoxidal. Alopecia is a an umbrella term for hair loss and there are many types and many causes. Best to see a specialist to determine the condition and underlying cause to get the most appropriate treatment.
Initially it is best to consult your GP who then may refer you on to a specialist (possibly a Trichologist)
Unfortunately there is no way of removing these tiny scars. But micro-pigmentation can be considered to hide them.
Generally it takes up to 6 months for the hair to start to grow but full results may not be seen until around 12 months. In a small percentage of people this could be up to 18 months
There's no evidence to support use of medication in assisting with facial hair growth. However topical Minoxidil, protein shakes and vitamin supplements may be beneficial. If the hair loss is patchy or recent please seek medical advise - a dermatologist or hair restoration surgeon will be able to determine the underlying cause of the hair loss.
