I had my first treatment about 5 days ago to treat some acne scarring and skin tightening. The actual process hurt like hell! Nothing unbearable but it was definitely painful but Denise was amazing during the whole process! The 24 hour down time did not apply to me. I had a very angry outbreak of whiteheads (most likely from the products provided for after care, my skin doesn’t take too well to new things). I’m still experiencing a lot of dryness and the grid marks are still visible. I haven’t noticed any difference yet. I’ve got one more appointment in a few weeks and am staying optimistic so I’ll post updates! Updated on 14 Feb 2020: I had a face/neck treatment but I’ve noticed the biggest difference on my forehead acne scars. I had my second treatment today and may do another 1-2 treatments in the future. The second round hurt just as much as the first, but it’s definitely worth it.
I have light, European skin. I’ve had picosure revitalization prior to Fractora and loved it. Fractora, however, was terrible. I had scabbing all over my face for almost six full weeks, followed by about nine to ten months of residual brown spots in a stamp pattern that took extremely heavy makeup to cover daily. Additionally, I lost significant volume in my cheeks— it was as if it all fell straight down into my lower face. I would never recommend this procedure to anyone.
I hated my ankle tattoo but did not want to get it made bigger to cover it up, so I went with removal. I was told that it would take up to 6 sessions with 12 weeks between sessions. I decided to have my hip tattoo done at the same time. It is costing $200 per session (my tattoos are small). I am not going to lie, it really HURTS. It feels like being splattered with hot bacon grease over and over. My tattoos are over 20 years old and I am excited to see them disappear! Beware the blister I got on my ankle after my first treatment is very hard to look at. I could not believe my body could produce something so disgusting. Updated on 6 Apr 2018: Session two was just as painful but I did not blister nearly as much on the ankle but my hip seemed more bruised. The treated area is sore to touch after treatment, but only real pain is during the treatments. I can see a huge difference already and I am very happy. Updated on 22 Jan 2019: So far I have had 5 treatments. They are all pretty painful during the treatment but worth it. I am very happy with my progress. My hip most likely will be done after the 5th treatment but ankle will need more. The ankle takes longer due to less blood flow. The hip hurts way more during treatment! Ouch, but it literally only takes a few seconds per site. Updated on 26 Mar 2019: Today I go in for my sixth treatment. The doctor said it would take about six treatments but I’m guessing my ankle is going to take longer because it still has some fading to do. However I’m very pleased with the progress on both tattoos. Each treatment is just as painful as the last. It never seems like it gets less painful even thought there may be less ink. Updated on 14 Jan 2020: I haven’t posted an update in a while so I thought I would show the progress after eight treatments. My hip tattoo is completely gone he treated it anyway because of a teeny tiny little blue streak that you can barely see. My ankle is taking longer than expected (Ugh) but from reading other tattoo removal reviews I am seeing that it is pretty normal being the ankle with less blood flow. I am still happy with the results. It looks like a little bruise nothing like the black blob looking tattoo! Updated on 23 Jan 2020: Here’s a before and after comparison. Treatment still hurts just as bad during the zapping, but I do not blister or scab up anymore. I am always shocked at how painful it really is. The hip especially!
So I just had laser lipo done a little over a week ago. During my consultation, I was told roughly 5 liters would be taken out. I was in a lot of pain during the procedure. I feel like for what I paid and what I was told wasn't even worth it. Im not doing this for any weight loss. I went in for a tummy tuck and was told we would need to debulk before doing a tummy tuck. I feel like if this was going to be a two step procedure. shouldn't more fat be taken out first? Plus i felt really rushed towards the end since there was another appt after me.
