I never write reviews or have much to do with social media. However, having recently experienced surgery of the tissue under and over my eyes (Blepharoplasty) I felt I had to. I had severely pronounced bags under my eyes and was constantly told by friends and family that I looked tired. I tried different creams and serums but none had any notable or lasting effect. I considered Surgery, but not ever having had any type of cosmetic surgery, I wasn’t sure who to trust or where to go. I mentioned this to my chiropractor who immediately recommended Dr. Adler. Still a bit skeptical, I did some research, scheduled a couple of evaluations and then decided to visit Dr. Adler’s office. Dr. Adler and his great staff made me feel comfortable with a very kind and confident, no pressure evaluation. Their office is very clean, the staff friendly, knowledgeable and easy to approach. I decided to have my surgery done there. That was a several months ago. Throughout the process, I felt that they always had my best interest in mind. During the surgery Dr. Adler and his staff were very comforting, clarifying every doubt or question, they were always careful and attentive to detail. After the surgery, their instructions were clear and concise and I always felt that I could count on them to clarify any uncertainties or concerns. It’s been approximately six months since my surgery and I am extremely happy with the results. I would definitely recommend that anyone considering this type of surgery should call or visit Dr. Adler’s office, first.
I decided to have this surgery when I had 45 years old. It take me a long time to evaluate doctors and I finally I decided for a Facial Plastic Surgeon. I selected Dr. Eric Adler because I had the opportunity to see some of his patients and his surgeries are amassing. I had my surgery and the recovery was really fast. Adler and his staff have done a wonderful job, they are the best.
I had the Infiny RF treatment, it was a pain free and relaxing treatment and I got great results. The staff at Dr Adler's office is great and the office is a brand new state of the art facility. You will not be disappointed with a visit to Dr Adler. I have had several other treatments at Dr Adler's office and all were excellent in procedure and results
Hi, my name is Cristina Ponce and I had a rhinoplasty two years ago with Dr. Eric Adler. He is not only a plastic surgeon, he is a ENT. This was one of my deciding factors because of his great knowledge and experience with noses. I was super nervous, but the doctor and his staff made me feel comfortable. After the procedure, they took me to the recovery room where they took care of me until I was ready to leave. They gave me all the directions of what to do and not to do. During the recovery time at home they called me a couple of times to check if everything was going well and if I had any questions. After two weeks I went to the doctors office and my new nose was revealed, I was so excited and happy. In a rhinoplasty it’s not only important the procedure, but the connection with the doctor and the care they give.
I have been traveling from South Florida to San Juan to see Dr Adler for several years. His office is state of the art and his team are true professionals. He know's exactly what to do to I have been happy with every procedure and treatment. From skin care to Botox and other injectables Dr Adler suggests the right procedure and carries it out with excellence
Hi everybody! I am a 52 years old woman who has always perceived herself as a 25 years old young lady - body, mind and spirit at least… LOL. My passion for learning new trends, practicing healthy habits and nurturing my soul with art, music, motivational writings, and my love for nature and the simple pleasures of life have kept me relatively young in those aspects. I have always felt blessed for the amazing times lived - my peaceful childhood in the sixties, exciting adolescence in the seventies and young adulthood in the unforgettable eighties till today. At this wonderful stage of my life I was grateful for the wisdom, confidence and savoir-faire that only the passing years gave me but they were also leaving an ageing trace on my face… to my distaste. During a long time I had been flirting with the idea of plastic surgery but fear had been greater than desire. However I decided to face it once for all and three months ago I had a mini lift, neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasties. To sculpt my new self I trusted the superb hands of Dr. Eric T. Adler from Adler Facial Plastic Surgery, San Juan, PR. My surgery was performed with the most advanced medical technology in his beautiful Adler Medical Plaza. For added peace of mind, he has a Board Certified Anesthesiologist in his team, Dr. Yimar Berrios, another excellent professional and human being. The nurses, medical aesthetician, and administrative staff are also very professional and pamper you as if you also were an artist. There was no pain during the procedure, or after recovery, only minimal discomfort alleviated with two Panadol only when I needed them. The healing process has been very quick. I am so thrilled with the results that sometimes it seems to me the 25 years old young lady is back … can see her glance in the mirror again and I'm absolutely loving it! After performing 6 years of Neograft I have seen many different time responses as far as Transplanted Hair initial growth. In general younger guys will grow quicker than older patients. Some areas of the scalp may demonstrate quicker recovery than other areas. For example quicker growth anterior than posterior areas like the crown. Also there are patients considered "quick responders" and others "slow responders". These 2 groups are in the extreme 10% of the Bell shaped curve. Most which are 80% demonstrate initial growth at 3-4 months with almost complete recovery at 12 months. Patients that utilize Low Level Laser Technology starting 10-14 days after the Transplant also show to speed it up by roughly 4-8 weeks. Finally, several factors like smoking, malnutrition, excessive alcohol intake and low grade anemia may also have a toll on the quickness of regrowth.
After performing over 3500 Rhinoplasties I have found that stopping alcohol 5-7 days before and 7 days after is the safest for the day of surgery to minimize blood loss and speed up recovery afterwards.
complete healing after rhinoplasty surgery will take several months including the swelling that fluctuates up to 1 year after the procedure. absolutely it is my recommendation that you go visit the surgeon who performed your surgery so he can examine if the trauma has had any sort of impact on the procedure. the suture may have to be removed if it is exposed and maybe some form of nasal tapping be of help to reduce some resulting swelling from the hit.
There are various techniques to perform an Otoplasty procedure to correct Prominent "Outstanding" Ears. In my experience this procedure is done under Local Anesthesia in an Outpatient setting in less than 1 hour. The recovery required to engage in contact sports like Football may take 4-12 weeks in view of the equipment utilized to protect the head. Putting the Helmet on and off could cause a lot of discomfort if your recently operated on Ears get pulled. Also the permanent sutures used in this type of procedure could get torn and a Recurrence of your Original Outstanding Ear could result. I suggest postponing the procedure until you could take 3-4 month break from your Football game.
