Dr. Hartmann’s name always rang bells in the surgery world. How highly she is talked about was something that intrigued me, and made me book a consultation. Upon arriving to my consultation as I was walking into her office I had a huge sense of safety, relief, and extreme welcoming. The receptionist not only was beautiful but was beyond king and genuine. As I sat in the waiting room waiting to be called back I took everything in. As I was called back and walked to the consultation room, the nurse explained everything that was going to take place once Dr Hartman came in. I undressed and put a lovely fresh white robe that the nurse left for me to put on while I waited for the Dr to enter. As soon as Dr. Hartman entered the room and started talking to me the conversation felt so genuine, she was so through in explaining everything. She asked what I wanted and then explained to me what she felt was the best option for me, she explained how her pre and post op care worked, the possible risks that come with this surgery, ect. She spend about 45 minutes to an hour with me and answered any and all questions I had. Upon finishing the consultation, I walked out and was greeted by the Surgery Coordinator (Karen) who is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She had a quote broken down for me, gave me options of dates I can do surgery! I walked out feeling like everything just felt Right! I called my sister who knows how I am, and how very picky and indecisive I am when it comes to surgery. I told her THIS IS MY Doctor and I was gonna book the surgery. The next day I texted Karen the surgery coordinator, and I told her that I would like to book my surgery ASAP. I was booked for June 28th, 2023. My pre-op visits came fast! I got to come in and Meet Lauren who is Dr. Hartmann NP. She as well was very welcoming and extremely nice. She went through my health background, confirmed I had support financially and mentally not only before, but during, and after the surgery. She then gave me a couple prescriptions to help with nausea and vomiting the day of surgery and for post-op! I love the fact that doctor Hartman believes in natural remedies for post-op. I did not have a need for pain medicine after surgery her regiment that included natural remedies was beyond sufficient! Prior to surgery I had a few phone calls with Dr. Hartman RN, Brandon. He was to no surprise Amazing as well. He asked me a series of questions about my health to help him and the anesthesiologist prepare for the day of surgery! On The day of surgery my sister drove me to surgery and made sure I took my nauseas medicine 1 hour before surgery that Lauren had prescribed! Thanks to Karen, I was the first surgery of the day! I got there right at 8 am, and as soon as I arrived I was taken back given a gown and was shortly after greeted by Brandon who was even nicer in person than he was on the phone! Branson prepped me and got my IV in (He has a very soft hand) didn’t even feel the needle go in. He informed me that during surgery the IV would most likely be moved but to start we would keep it in my forearm. Shortly after he left the anesthesiologist came in to introduce himself (I feel terrible I don’t remember his name) but he was awsome and super efficient. About 3 minutes after he left, Brandon came back to walk me back to the room. I walked in and remember seeing where Brandon and a couple others we’re waiting for me. The room was freezing cold. They had me sit on the table, I remember cracking a Joke and next thing I know I woke up and was being wheeled out to my moms car. Typically, within 24 hours I would of went in to see Dr Hartman, however; my appointment for surgery fell on a Friday so I didn’t go in to see Dr. Hartman until Monday morning. One of the things I have always heard about Dr Hartman is how great her bedside manners are and aftercare. And Boy let me tell you she did not disappoint! The very next day because she knew it was a weekend. She made sure to tell me priory to surgery she wouldn’t see me until Monday and would contact me via text or phone. Sure enough she did! She texted me asking if it was okay to call, and called me and gave me post op instructors for the next two days. She also made sure to ask for pictures and contact me on both weekend days until she could see me! I ended up going into my appointment on Monday with my sister where her and Lauren got to look at my arms and spend time with me, look at my incisions and see how I was doing. Everything looked great and I was able to leave and come back in a week. Dr. Hartman informed me she would be going out of town for a vacation (which I hear is super rare for her cause she is a workaholic) and next time I came in it for a follow up, it would be Lauren who I would be seeing! I felt super comfortable with that because how in sync her stuff is. Leading up to my appointment while on vacation, Dr. Hartman texted me to make sure I was okay and ask for updated pictures! At this point I seriously couldn’t believe the kind of care I have been receiving through this whole experience, it was nothing short of absolutely amazing! My doctor who is on vacation and should be enjoying time away from work, is taking time out of her day to make sure I am okay! If this doesn’t go to show the kind of doctor she is I don’t know what does!
I absolutely love Dr. Hartmann! Extremely informative and helpful in the decision process. I loved how she laid out my all of my available options, and went over my questions and concerns. I felt that she truly had my best interest in mind during my first consolation with her. I immediately canceled the other consolations that I had scheduled after meeting her. I'm so glad I had gone to her first!! I decided on 365 round silicon and went subfascial. Had my original op date for 3/4/22 but it was changed to 4/14/22 after dr Hartmann had me get blood work since I have family history of bleeding disorders and she wanted to be absolutely sure that this procedure went perfect! Dr Hartmann is such an amazing surgeon she does not rush anything, very meticulous, and I can tell she takes so much pride in her work. Before my operation I did speak with her about doing whatever she felt looked best whether that meant going bigger or smaller with what we previously had discussed. She ended up doing 345cc on my right side and 325cc on my left. I'm so thankful I trusted her judgement because they look amazing and I'm so love with them! Also her staff is fantastic!!! So friendly, welcoming and kind!! I truly loved talking to everyone there. I can't express enough how positive my experience was at beauty eternal with Dr Hartmann and cannot recommend her more highly!! Updated on 20 Apr 2022: Updated on 28 Apr 2022: It’s been two weeks and I couldn’t be happier with my results they’ve already dropped significantly. Updated on 18 May 2022:
Dr. Hartmann listened well & was great, going over options. I wanted my result to be on softer side so I opted for silicone. Using "rice boobs" before helped with size. Go bigger than you first think. Updated on 29 Aug 2021: They've already started to drop a bit. My follow up appt is next week so I'll know for sure if they're healing on track. The wounds seem to be healing well. I've found that my nipples are a lot more sensitive now than they were before the implants. I consider it a benefit but I don't know if it's permanent. I'm really happy I had the surgery. Updated on 18 Dec 2021: It's actually now been 4.5 months but the pics are from around the time of my 8 week check up. I'm super happy with the results. The extra sensitivity in my nipples, the right one particularly, has stayed, which I consider a plus. On rare occasions I have a tiny ache at my right breast but at no time is it severe or prolonged and I'm so glad I got the implants. Updated on 20 Feb 2022: I'm still totally happy with my results. I think they look about as natural as fake boobs could, they've settled in perfectly. They're soft and they move. The only time it's obvious they're fake is when I'm laying down - I'm not complaining. ;) I wear a bra most days to avoid gravity starting to affect them prematurely but I have gone without when it was summer and I wore a halter dress. I sleep in yoga bras. I want them to look as good as possible for as long as possible. :) Updated on 9 Jul 2023: Most recent photo, taken in June '23, about 2 yrs post-surgery. I measure about 38" now. I still absolutely love them. And the scars are almost non-existent and exactly within the crease under my breasts. I highly recommend Dr. Hartmann. I also recommend you reject any doctor who doesn't discourage you from going too large right out of the gate. The reason I have so little scarring, the scarring is positioned perfectly, they healed quick and they're staying where they should and in great form is because Dr. Hartmann limited how large of an implant she'd insert given the skin I had. Anyone who says, "You're a B but let's insert 500cc implants is out to make a buck and doesn't care about you or your results. Just sayin'.
I think the pictures speak for my experience and, most importantly, my health and overall confidence. Dr. Hartmann is so amazing - I'm pretty sure she's the best surgeon one could ask for! (No offense to the other surgeons!) This has been one of the best decisions I've ever made - now it's just up to me to maintain the phenomenal work Dr. Hartmann did. I'm so grateful and will continue to seek services from Dr. Hartmann!
Not everyone is born with lumps in all the right places, but Dr. Emily Hartmann can definitely help with that! I recently underwent a "mommy makeover" at Dr. Hartmann's facility, North State Plastic Surgery in Chico, CA. It was an amazing experience with equal results. My recovery was just as Dr. Hartmann described and I couldn't be happier with her work. Dr. Hartmann's stuff is equal to none, they are caring and highly experienced professionals.
All I was looking for in a plastic surgeon was professional competence, but with Dr. Hartmann I got much more. She certainly is a consummate professional, but she’s also a warm and caring individual with whom I immediately felt at ease. I was never rushed during our consultations, where my endless questions were answered thoroughly and patiently. I was given a realistic sense of what the outcome of my surgery would likely be, and was never pressured to have the procedure done. Dr. Hartmann even accommodated my request for an exclusively female team for my surgery. I should add that her on-site surgical facility is state of the art and first class, and her staff are consistently courteous and helpful. As for the surgery itself, I was extremely pleased with the results. From first visit to last I was treated with kindness and consideration by Dr. Hartmann and her staff, and am so glad I listened to the recommendation of a friend and chose her to perform my surgery. She is outstanding in every way.
Dr Hartman performed scar revision surgery on me and I can barely see them anymore . I highly recommend her, she did a great job. She also injected some other scars free of charge. I am forever greatful !
I had a lipoma removed by Dr. Hartmann. She is a great surgeon and a very nice, caring person. She answered all of my questions via text message after my surgery! She genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!
My experience with Dr Hartmann has been nothing but positive. As someone who was going through breast cancer, I found this very reassuring. She made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. She is an amazing doctor and surgeon. Her work is amazing. She made sure I was completely satisfied with the end results. I found her to be very supportive, positive, and caring. She always made sure I was comfortable with, and understood the procedures. She took the time to get to me as a person and to know about my family. In found the entire staff at North Valley Plastic Surgery to be very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them for any kind of aesthetic work.
One breast was smaller than the other, some discomfort from scare tissue and radiation damage. I wanted to be able to wear shear tops and look even. I was in great shape, working out at the gym all the time and felt like it was the one thing that was keeping me back. I had discomfort under my arm when I did the weight machines and now it is fabulous.
Thank you for your question! There are several ways to perform a facelift and each plastic surgeon will have their comfort level with how much anesthesia is administered. For a full facelift with a SMAS lift it is best to have excellent anesthesia. I recommend seeking consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to carefully talk you through your options. Good luck!
Thank you for your question as no doubt there are other patients out there with your same situation. Crohn's disease is not an absolute contraindication to surgery however it generally carries an increased risk of complications especially if you take immune modulating medications. In elective cosmetic surgery there is a need to be conservative to minimize complications. You must understand your increased risks and have a long discussion with a board certified plastic surgeon. Just because we can do surgery does not always mean we should. This is between you and your surgeon to decide.
Congratulations on your surgery! I tell my patients to wait 3 months prior to assessing cup size because the swelling can take 3-6 months to resolve. Hang in there and talk to your surgeon about what to expect postoperatively.
Based on your anatomy seen in this limited photo you may be a candidate for a brachioplasty with liposuction to achieve good contour. Weight loss alone will likely improve the bulk but the excess skin will have to be dealt with if it does not retract. I recommend you seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Good luck!
This is not a straightforward question because it greatly depends on how much herniation you have. This is usually part of a complex breast anatomy known as tuberous breast deformity. This can range from a small amount of constriction medially to an elevated fold with very little skin and herniating areola. You should have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to establish realistic expectations. Good luck!
