I Had an Amazing Experience with Dr Choy
I decided to have surgery because I wanted to feel more confident and comfortable with my own body. For a long time, I struggled with body image and felt self-conscious about the size and shape of my breast. After doing my research I really thinking it through I made the decision for me not for anyone else. I got recommended from my friend who has done this surgery before with Dr Choy and I decided to have my surgery with Dr Choy after having consultation with him
The surgical journey was a mix of emotions, exciting and nerve-wracking. Before the procedure, there were a couple of consultation, discussing implant sizes, types, and understanding the risks involved. I wanted to be fully informed and confident in my choice. The consultation process helped a lot. Dr choy was very informative and made sure I understood everything and he knows my expectations. The day of surgery was surreal, I was a little anxious because never done surgery before in my life but the medical team was supportive and I felt well cared for. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I woke up groggy but relieved that it was over. The first few days post-op were the hardest—there was swelling, tightness in the chest, and some pain, especially when moving around or trying to sleep. But I followed the aftercare instructions carefully and took things slow. The support from close friends or family during that time made a big difference. I really appreciated Dr Choy’s team always calling me to check my conditions after my surgery it really helped me a lot. Glad I had healing process quicker than I thought and I can start my daily activity after 5 days. But it wasn’t easy for me to sleep with my back as I was not used to it I needed to wake up in the middle of night because I felt sore in my back but it just happened only for 2 weeks and now I get used to it. As the healing progressed, I started to see the changes and feel more comfortable and happy in my body. There were follow-up visits to make sure everything was healing well, and gradually, the results started to look and feel more natural as I expected before.
The surgery has had a significant impact on my life, both physically and emotionally. One of the biggest changes is how I feel about my body. I feel more confident in my appearance—whether I’m wearing certain clothes, going out, or simply looking in the mirror. It gave me a sense of alignment between how I feel inside and how I look outside. Emotionally, it’s helped boost my self-esteem. I used to feel insecure or overly self-conscious in certain situations, but now I carry myself with more confidence. It wasn’t about trying to be someone else—it was about feeling like the best version of myself. Of course, it’s not just about looks. The process also taught me to be more in tune with my body and more assertive about my personal choices. It reminded me that it’s okay to make changes for myself and not for anyone else. That said, it hasn’t magically fixed everything. Confidence still comes from within, and I’ve learned that this surgery is just one part of a much larger journey of self-love and self-acceptance. But overall, it has had a very positive impact on my life and well-being.
