I went to Aesthetic Smiles of New Jersey to get what they call "gum recontouring" done on my teeth. I've always been self-conscious of my smile because my teeth are so small and so much of my gums show in it. I met with Dr. Romano for a consultation and he answered all my questions, gave me all the options to fix the problem, and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. After deciding to go with the gum recontouring procedure, he was able to get me in for an appointment just two days later! The procedure only took about 20-30 minutes and was completely painless. I'm really happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Romano for any dental procedure!

This was a truly awful experience that just keeps getting worse. Dr. Romano will try from every angle to up-charge you and add unnecessary items to a treatment plan and start scheduling unnecessary services. The actual services they provide are a 300% mark up from what anyone else will charge for the same treatment. They will bill you and your insurance provider for unnecessary services and then get hostile and aggressive when you question. They use companies to hide their negative reviews so no one looking at his clinic knows this is happening until you dig and then find what others are really saying. The staff made the whole thing worse with hostility. No one is human to him or the staff, we are all just dollar signs lining his pocket. I cannot understand how they threw so many ludicrous things on my bill and treatment plan that no other dentist can verify I “need.” This is a shameful practice with complete lack of concern for the patient.
