You will be hardpressed to find a more expensive plastic surgeon, which may make you question choosing Dr Rosenberg… but he was worth EVERY PENNY. He flawless corrected a previous doctor’s mistake with no bruising and minimal swelling. In one week I was already back to “normal”, and no one could tell I had anything done. I am a year out, my scar is pretty much invisible and I couldn’t be happier with my nose, it is my dream result - natural yet somehow also perfect. He is also incredibly professional, friendly and reassuring. It was a seamless, stress-free, and ultimately great experience with exceptional results.
I don't know if my review will do Dr. Rosenberg justice. The results exceeded my expectation. To say that my nose was a complex situation was an understatement. At a young age I broke my nose and did not get it fixed. In my adult years I had chronic sinus infections, removing two turbinates. I then wanted to have my broken nose (childhood injury) aesthetically fixed. After 2 surgeries, I was left with a saddle nose and an upturned tip, not to mention a septal hematoma after the 1st surgery that compromised my septum. My nose went from complex to really complex. 5 years passed since the last surgery and I decided I would give it one last shot. Dr. Rosenberg came highly recommended and was described as being "THE BEST". I was excited to get the nose I always wanted, but I was very nervous about having another surgery. I consulted with a number of surgeons that specialize in revision rhinoplasty. Almost all of them said they would not touch my nose, way to complex and risky. I made an appointment with Dr. Rosenberg and waited 3 months to see him. Then the moment I had been waiting for, the day of my consultation. He looked at my nose, reviewed all materials (past operative reports, history, etc) and said, "I can fix this, I can make this look good and I may even be able to make it look amazing". I remember looking at him with a questionable look. Amazing, I would be happy with straight. I booked my surgery and waited another 3 months for the really big day. On the really big day, I was met by a member of his nursing staff and his anesthesiologist. Both were great at making me feel confident and at ease prior to surgery. My surgery lasted 4 hours. The full scope of what needed to be done was explained. To oversimplify, he needed to rebuild the bridge and tip of my nose, using ear and rib cartilage, without compromising the delicate structure that currently existed. After surgery I had no bruising and minimal swelling. 6 days after surgery I had the cast removed. The results immediately after the cast removal were jaw dropping. I could not believe how straight and refined my nose looked. It looked as if nothing was ever done to it. It looked like the nose that I was meant to have, that tied together my facial features. I am now 5 weeks out and as the swelling continues to subside, the results are better than I could've imagined. When you have multiple surgeries and the result are not as good as you expected, you sometimes feel that the desired result are unattainable. I felt the same way, until Dr. Rosenberg. In my experience, he truly is the best at what he does. His attention to detail is magnificent. His level of skill in a complex situation (that others would not consider) is unparalleled. His confidence is infectious, his presence is calming and his staff runs like a well oiled machine. His nurse practitioner, Monica is amazing at what she does. She held my virtual hand from the initial consultation until today, answering all of my questions (via phone or email) and putting my mind at ease. My overall experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr. David Rosenberg and his staff.
I had closed rhinoplasty in my teens, 27 years ago. 10 years ago I began to notice my nose was crooked in photos with a line coming across the nose. It gradually became worse and I avoided cameras. I had met with several doctors prior and all had said it was a difficult case. I was referred to Dr. Rosenberg, he too said it was complicated but was confident.Dr. Rosenberg is an artist, genuine, talented, and thorough. I love my revision rhinoplasty. It's beautifully done. The cast came off 5 days ago, I had minimal bruising and no pain. The area is still swollen but it looks fantastic swollen. Not sure how much shrinkage to expect, hoping it's not too much. Will go back in a couple of months. Only negative is how quickly he books up.
He is not only a very skilled surgeon but he also has good taste and one will not look plastic or doll like. He will not perform anything he does not think is good for you no matter how much you ask; like upper eye surgery if you suffer from dry eyes. Besides, he is very kind and understanding as a human being.
After many consultations, I decided to let David Rosenberg do my neck and lower face lift and I am happy to say that I made the right decision. I have seen a lot of other face work in the city and I honestly don’t think anyone else compares to Dr R. His work is clever and subtle and natural. It has been almost three years since I had the work done and I look even better now than I did at the beginning. You can take my word for it - you’re in good hands here. Thank you Dr Rosenberg!!
Dr Rosenberg is nothing short of exceptional. He is an extremely talented surgeon with an artistic eye and warm and calming nature. From the moment I stepped into his beautiful office, I was graced by his helpful staff. Dr Rosenberg is honest and will explain to you as the provider exactly what he thinks will enhance your natural beauty. He also listens to the patients needs and throughout my whole consultation I was amazed. After visiting other top surgeons in NYC, I was set on Dr. Rosenberg after only a few minutes of our conversation. On the day of surgery Dr Rosenberg, his anesthesiologist and entire team made me feel comfortable and safe. I was greeted with smiles all around and an impeccable bedside manner from start to recovery. Recovery was a breeze! Many of my friends who had rhinoplasties suffered from large bruising, sharp pain and extreme swelling. However, Dr. Rosenberg’s skill left me in little to no pain having to only take Tylenol. I was barely bruised and my swelling was mild. My nose which was once bulbous, droopy and wide, is now a perfect fit for my face. I don’t even want to wear makeup! Even though many doctors told me I was unable to achieve my desired look due to thick skin, Dr. Rosenberg assured me otherwise. My nose tip is refined, exactly the way I pictured, without making me look fake. Those who don’t know me would never know I had surgery, they would just think I was born with a perfect nose. He made my confidence skyrocket and I love smiling now. Dr Rosenberg is worth every penny (lots and lots of them)! I really look up to Dr Rosenberg. Anyone who is interested in a rhinoplasty I am sending his way! Thank you thank you thank you!
Facelift and eye lids (aka blepharoplasty bilateral upper) done. My goal: create a refreshed natural improvement in my appearance by reducing sagging skin. I am 100% elated with entire experience. I did my homework over a few years to find the best surgeon to achieve my goals. It was worth every minute of effort and every dollar invested. David Rosenberg, MD listened carefully to my concerns and goals. He is an extraordinarily gifted surgeon. When you combine his surgical experience with his great communication skills, and laser sharp attention to detail I was confident I had chosen the best practice. During my initial consultation Dr Rosenberg selected from (what seemed hundreds of images) several faces of prior patients with similar concerns and facial attributes to mine. He showed the before and after images, I couldn’t wait to be added to the bunch! I am thrilled with the excellent results, my face and neck now outwardly match my inner self and that truly feels so wonderful. From the consultation with Dr. Rosenberg, his professional office staff, experienced nursing staff, detailed instructions and lots of valuable information, nurses readily available to answer pre op and post op questions/concerns, post op private nurses for first 48 hours post op, two post op visits, and my rapid recovery. Every aspect managed by Dr. Rosenberg and his team with absolute perfection. I am thankful for each and every one of them.
For the last several years, I had been looking for the right surgeon to perform my rhinoplasty. After several consults with surgeons in NYC I was still nervous and unsure. When I finally met with Dr. Rosenberg, I knew, he was the right doctor for me. His artistic eye, gentle demeanor and world class reputation convinced me. Now that I am 1-month out, I realize, I made the best possible decision. Not only was Dr. Rosenberg correct in suggesting that I have a chin implant but he also gave me the nose I always wanted. My recovery was almost pain-free with barely any bruising. I returned to seeing my own patients (9) days later. The entire process was an experience; his staff are professional, knowledgeable and provide an exceptional service. You feel like you are in an elite spa rather than a surgeons office. I have never looked better and the best part, no one seems to know what exactly is different. Most of my closest friends just think that I lost weight. It was a masterfully executed surgery with subtle changes that make all the difference. I recommend Dr. Rosenberg and his team without reservation.
About four years ago I had a facelift with Dr. David Rosenberg which I was extremely happy with. At that time I was not in need of a browlift as Dr. Rosenberg pointed out to me. He is very conservative and prefers very natural results which is a great match for me. Recently, I noticed that my upper lids were beginning to have some 'hooding' and botox was much more challenging in the forehead area so I visited him for his opinion on what would be the best approach for these particular issues. Dr. Rosenberg and I both agreed that the endoscopic brow lift would be a good choice for me at this time. My surgery was on November 2nd and it's only been 4 days since the surgery but recovery has been quite comfortable except for the normal swelling and some slight headaches. There were stitches in the top of the hairline with a 'device' called endodine and on the side incisions, there are staples. I will update this review as the days go on. So far, so good! Updated on 8 Nov 2018: Swelling is going down, my stitches are a bit itchy but I'm feeling pretty good right about now. :) My next appointment is Nov. 12th for removal of stitches and staples. I notice the hooding (thank God) is gone and I am liking the results I am seeing so far. Surely, I will be morphing along as I heal but so far the only complaint I have is that I can't style my hair. Updated on 12 Nov 2018: Today my stitches and staples are coming out. Oh joy. I'm not great with discomfort so not my favorite day but I'm sure things will be better afterwards! My progress visually is really good. The scalp, however is very sensitive and there are certain areas with scabbing and just plain discomfort. I 'll post some close ups photos of the scalp (although it ain't so pretty) and and update on healing. One day at a time!
I'm thrilled with my result! I'm so glad I did a ton of research to finally find Dr. Rosenberg! With my saggy jowls and fat pads that went south, to a buccal fat problem plus an asymmetrical face, I was a long way from my very photogenic youthful days. Everything that needed to be done was so well explained by Dr R (I like to know details, and he was very patient and kind:) It's barely been 2 weeks since surgery and my results are fantastic. The man has a gentle touch and an artist's sensibility. Kudos to the staff and the very sweet nurses who were so professional and lovely to deal with. I just couldn't be happier.
