Ok, I have a question, I got my breast last done by Dr. Ross, 25 years ago and he did a fantastic job!!!! I am finally looking to have them replaced, they still look great!!! But now where do I go now that Dr. Ross is retired? Would I also get a reduced price because I think that was the plan if I had gone back with Dr. Ross? Does anyone have any suggestions? Because I am so happy with the work he did, I was 25, now I’m 48 years old, it’s time to refresh them!
As others have stated, Dr. Ross is cut and dry and very professional. I spoke with several other surgeons before deciding upon him. He is not pushy and will tell you if your goals are attainable or not. I was nervous to get a "nose job" as I wanted to still look like myself and not like someone who had a cookie cutter nose. I also had very large fat pockets under my eyes making me look tired or sad - rather like a hound dog at times! I went in for both procedures at the same time and came out looking fantastic! I highly recommend Dr. Ross, you will be in great hands!
I've heard Dr. Ross was retiring later this month - and just wanted to give him my thanks! I was instilled with confidence from the moment he entered the room (for the consult). The procedure went smoothly - and the post op help I received from him was great too. My nose looks exactly like I wanted - I would've advised you to get his services if he was still in the business, but I'm sure he's all booked up for September and retires end of month. So, I wish him well on his journey after retirement. Top Doctor!
After losing 120 lbs, my breasts and tummy were very saggy, uncomfortable, itchy, etc. I work out religiously every morning, but was not seeing the results I was working for because of the extra skin. Although I have not had children yet, I am not planning on doing so for at least 5 or more years, and I didn't want to spend the best years of my life uncomfortable in my own body. I went to 4 consultations in the Chicagoland area and did a TON of research online, which led me to Dr. David Ross. His reviews were excellent and his results were outstanding, so I made an appointment to meet with him. After my consultation, I knew I was going to go with Dr. Ross. He was straightforward, honest, and is a no-[RS bleep] kind of doctor. If you want someone who will tell you whatever you want to hear, he isn't the doctor for you. If you want an honest opinion and excellent results, then you must see Dr. Ross! I originally wanted an implant with my breast lift, and he very honestly told me that even with an implant, I probably wouldn't get the result I was looking for. I went with his suggestion of a breast lift instead, and I am SO happy I did!!! The lift looks like I have implants, he did such an amazing job. The tummy tuck is not as bad as everyone says it is. You have to spend a night in a hotel next to the surgery center, which is NOT covered by your fee. This cost an extra $220 plus $45 to park, which was kind of annoying. However, I am happy we stayed at the hotel so Dr. Ross could check everything out in the morning before I headed home. The worst part about the first night was the catheter that you have to wear until the following morning. It was very uncomfortable, especially when you already have two drains coming out of you. His nurses are very nice and even offered to meet me at a location closer to my home to get the stitches out, so I didn't have to make the long drive to Chicago again. After surgery, he gives you his work cell number to contact him directly with any problems, and to also check in with your drainage each day for the week following your surgery. If I had one complaint about Dr. Ross, it would be the waiting time for his appointments. I have had to wait about an hour for every appointment I have had with him. My suggestion would be to make your appointments early and make sure you are the first person he meets for the day. Even when I was the second appointment of the day, I had to wait 45 minutes. However, he is worth the wait! He takes the time to speak with you and answer all of your questions honestly, even if it isn't quite the answer that you want to hear. At the end of the day, the results are all that matter, and the results I got are phenomenal!
For being an athletic female I was happy with my body but not confident with my small chest. I have been talking/planning this surgery forever and just decided one day to go for it. I could never have imagined being this insanely happy with the outcome. I look 100% natural and the healing process was easy. I will continue to recommend Dr. Ross to everyone I know.
I'm 1 month post op from my operation and things couldn't have gone better. The staff is all so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Ross is an amazing surgeon. I can't believe how natural my breasts look even so shortly after surgery. The recovery time was great. I was back to work in 5 days!! My only regret is not doing it sooner. This is by far the best decision I have ever made. Thank you Dr. Ross you have changed my life!!!!
Very happy with my results, dr. Ross is the best surgeon ever, since my consultation to cast removal he has been amazing very nice, caring and made me feel comfortable and safe, my nose looks amazing, minimum swelling and no pain at all except for discomfort for the first few days, staff is friendly, i was nervous at first and scared that I would look all plastic but thanks to Dr ross my nose looks very natural and pretty not too big not too small just right fits me perfectly I can't thank him enough I wish I had done it 10 years ago
I am a mom of a very energetic toddler! I spend all day running around after him and have lost so much weight, unfortunately I also have lost so much breast volume! I met with Dr David Ross last month and decided he would be my surgeon for breast augmentation. He was very informative and honest, he made me feel very comfortable! We decided on 400-420 cc silicone/under muscle! After the consultation, I realized that I should of inquired about lipo as well because I cannot get rid of my love handles and mommy pooch! I look like a skinny fat, skinny everywhere except my mid section! So I called Piera, Dr Ross's assistant and she was so wonderful and told me its realistic and gave me a Quote...I am meeting with him tomorrow for the lipo consult and I am very nervous because I have read some real horror stories about lipo recovery online! Wish me luck tomorrow! I will have help full time the first week w my son and part time with lifting and chores around the house the second week! I hope I making a good decision doing this, any other moms out there's that felt guilty pre surgery! My mom is making me feel really guilty and telling me that I should not do it! She said that my son is my number one priority and body should just be accepted by me! I feel really bad that I can't care for my son that week! I hope it will all work out! Updated on 24 Apr 2015: I am so excited and nervous. I made some changes and i wont be doing the liposucton at the same time as BA. I am going to do my BA on Monday and wait on the lipo, I am worried about the recovery time since I just got hired and starting a new job 3 weeks post op. I am a little upset that I will still have love handles but they just have to wait. I am going to post some before pics, please give me your honest opinion about what size for silicone gell. I am thinking either 400 cc or 450cc, please help, I am 5 8 and 34b currently and I want a full c look, he is going under the muscle. Also. Any quick recovery advice, anything will be apprecited, thank you... Updated on 24 Apr 2015: I am 5 8 tall and 34 b , I want a full C, my ps, Dr Ross is going to use silicone and going under the muscle, I am stick between choosing the size, help.. Updated on 24 Apr 2015: I have my operation in 2 days and still unsure about the size. I am 5 8, 122 lb. And 34 b, and my ps will be using silicone going under the muscle. I want a full c, please help, Updated on 24 Apr 2015: Btw, I cancelled my lipo for lovehandles, I am scared of the recovery time, maybe after baby number two, lol,,, Updated on 28 Apr 2015: 425 cc Updated on 1 May 2015: Please give me advise, I feel regretful about the size, I am not sure if I went big enough???? I love the shape but I don't have too much upper fullness? Is this normal? I thought 425cc over the muscle will given me a nice full look since I was between a 34 b-c prior, and now I am not sure. I tried on some dresses today and I didn't have that nice cleavage I wanted. My husband said it's because of my granny support bra that I am wearing. Has anyone experienced this? Will my boobs soften up so I can push them up in a push up bra and get the super sexy look. I don't want the size bigger, I just want more fulness on top, it's only day 4 post op so maybe it's too early Please. Any advice will help. Feeling depressed. Feeling unsure and stupid right now!!! Updated on 1 May 2015: What do you guys think, I am depressed about the top part Updated on 1 May 2015: So nervous Updated on 3 May 2015: Still sore, feels like my milk has come in, lol...swelling almost all gone. My boobs lool very natural, I am starting to feel better about my decision of choosing natural profile. Updated on 5 May 2015: Dr Ross took out my stiches today and told me everything is ok, and to be careful 2 more weeks and then hopefully I can pickup my son again and have a glass of wine, lol( not at the same time) ha ha, my sense of humor sucks I know... So here are some pics, I think they look different in a better way, I actually have cleavage now? What do you guys think? Not sure how it happened but I think they are rounding out??? I think they look even better Updated on 6 May 2015: I called my PS and he said I should be fine if it little discharge. It looks clear and no other symptoms. Any advice? Updated on 11 May 2015: It is officially 2 weeks, I overall satisfied with the results. I think Dr Ross did an amazing job...still not feeling 100%, but much better then last week. Updated on 15 May 2015: Please help ladies, I am feeling frustrated since I cannot find tops that are appealing to wear now! Well, if I find chiffon tops; I look like a sponge bob square pants, lol! If I wear fitted tops, it shows my mommy pooch and love handles! I don't know what to do, I kind of regret not getting the lipo now but I was terrified of the pain and the recovery since I have a toddler to take care of, so I just did the BA! Please, if you have any tips for me, it just ordered some high waisted jeans so hopefully this will minimize my mommy pooch so can wear fitted tops!
I have always been in good overall shape... But after 3 natural childbirths, my belly fat seemed like it was here to stay... Diet and exercise weren't working, so I started to consider other options... That's when I came across realself and Dr. David Ross... I setup my consultation, and Dr. Ross told me I was a good candidate for either a tummy tuck or liposuction... I went with the less invasive procedure, and I must say I am satisfied with my results...Updated on 23 Feb 2015: It's been 5 days since my procedure, and the pain has subsided a bit... But it seems my waist has expanded a bit... I'm thinking(and hoping) that it's due to standard women issues... But Its still early in the healing process and hopefully I will slim down more... My stomach is still definitely flatter than it was before my procedure... So I'm still satisfied...Updated on 28 Feb 2015: Wednesday was my one week post op appt. wit Dr. Ross... He told me that it does take time for the swelling to go down, usually up to 3 months to see the final results... I asked why am I look bigger than I did 3 days after, and he said that usually after you initially remove the compression garment that's when the swelling really starts to occur... However, he remains optimistic that I am going to look better than I did before( he thinks I already do. He even showed me my presurgery pics for reassurance.) im still in some pain, and he said for me to wait at least one more week before engaging in exercise, and four more weeks before incorporating crunches or ab-targeting routines. (That annoys me a lil, but it's necessary to heal properly). In the meantime, I modified my diet, and am continuing to wear my compression garments daily. Ima try to remain positive about my results and I go back to him in 5 weeks... :-)Updated on 11 Mar 2015: So today makes 3 weeks post op, and i must say that I am still okay... I made some diet modifactions I'm not too happy about... But whatever is necessary to achieve the best results possible... I still have some pain in my lower abdomen, but it's tolerable... I'm working, however I haven't had to exercise... And I'm still pretty flat... Looking forward to the final outcome tho...Updated on 18 Apr 2015: It's been two months since my procedure and I must say, I am not as happy as I was three days post op. But I am still looking better than before my procedure. There is still occasional swelling so Ive been doing light cardio and ab targeting exercises sparsely. My biggest problem is sticking to my new diet. Its harder than it originally seemed, but I'm still looking forward to my end result.Updated on 2 Sep 2015: So I'm six months post op, the swelling is gone, the feeling has returned; and I must say I'm okay with my results... Compared to where I started, my stomach is flat and I had a great time showing off my lil shape this summer... I'm loving the way my clothes fit me now... I don't have to worry about always sucking my gut in... I still have to put in work to maintain my shape though... I stay active, I drink a lot of water, and I TRY to eat well... Hopefully, everything will continue to get better from here... So far, so good...
I went to doctor Ross because of all of the great reviews he had. His bed side manner isn't the best because he seemed very rushed and told me what I should do instead of getting my input on how I wanted to look. It wasn't such a terrible thing though because I wan't sure exactly what I wanted I just wanted to look more refined and symmetrical. He assured me he would make me the best "me" I could be instead of trying to imitate some celebrity. I loved the results and even the recovery time was less then expected which shows that he knows what he's doing. I would definitely go to him again or recommend him because the final results are all that matter at the end of the day. Updated on 21 Feb 2015: As far as the procedure itself it was not bad at all. They put me under general anesthesia so the last thing I remember was counting to 100 which I maybe made it to 10. When I woke up I was being taken to the post operative area and to my surprise no pain. I did feel a little groggy though. After arriving back home I was a little sleepy from the anesthesia so I slept and lounged around the rest of the day. I next day I didn't even take the pain medication because I felt great. I didn't look so great though. I had large bruises around my cast and eyes like someone punched me and gave me two black eyes. I didn't go out much the next week until I got my cast off because of how I looked but physically I felt as if I could do just about anything. When the cast came off to my surprise the bruising was almost gone, still some swelling though. I think this is due to the arnica I had been taking faithfully for a week prior to the surgery. This is truly a magic pill. By week two the swelling went way down and I was so pleased with the results. My nose looked so cute and tiny and the bump that was once there was completely gone. I was even able to return to work early. I returned after a week and 1/2 when I originally planned for two. Overall my procedure was a piece of cake and i'm so happy I did it.
The first sign of Capsular Contracture is the breast or breasts feeling obviously more firm then they had been. if your left breast is overall more firm then the right this would make me suspicious that a contracture is occurring. It is certainly possible 7 to 8 weeks out. However, it will require a hands on exam by your surgeon to finalize the diagnosis.
It would help to see a photo of your anatomy before surgery. I too have a concern about your breast symmetry but the result may be reflection of your inherent breast shape. If so, your augmented breast will show the same differences that predate your surgery. Perfect symmetry will be unlikely if your breasts were this different from the start If not, the fact that your result is quite early leaves adequate time for the symmetry to improve. Capsular contracture is a problem that develops much later then 5 days post surgery and is certainly not a factor in your present appearance.
A 330cc saline implant filled to 350cc will produce essentially the same result as a 350cc gel implant . There may be some subtle differences in appearance related to slight differences in the dimensions of each implant.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to make this evaluation based on the photos provided. If you want a meaningful answer to your question please retake your photos and submit them again. Please have someone else take the photos and include a full face straight on and in profile. The present set of pictures suggest that an elevation of your tip is needed and is certainly doable.
The three day interval from the date of your rhinoplasty should be adequate with the precautions you mentioned. I might suggest you not try and drive four hours straight and take several rest stops along the way.
