Mr Prinsloo is a great surgeon, I wouldn't hesitate to use him again if needed. He came recommended by a friend and I'm so happy I decided to have him do my tummy tuck, he told me exactly what he could do and what was realistic and what I could expect from surgery. I completely trusted that he would give me the desired look i wanted. I am completely blown away at how many tummy looks now, it is so much more than I could of imagined and I am so happy. The first week really is hard and at times I wondered if I had done the right thing, but day 6 PO I turned a corner and started to feel normal again and now 8 days PO I'm feeling so much better. I'm looking forward to seeing all the changes over the next few weeks and months as I'm still so swollen but I'm confident I will have great results. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself, my only regret is not doing it sooner, as I have waited 9 years to do this. Updated on 11 Feb 2020: I'm now 7 months post op. I haven't had any issues at all. Everything is going well, still slight swelling but that will hopefully go down soon. My scar has faded a lot and it really doesn't bother me. I'm very pleased with my results.
I have wanted to do this for ever! Never had a chest being barely an A cup. I was so scared to go too big but after being obsessed with this site I’m glad I went for the bigger implant I have had a bit of boob greed so I would say always go bigger! My experience with the whole thing has been amazing and watching them change has been fab I am still only 4 weeks post but the change has been amazing I wanted to share with other girls as know these stories and pics are so helpful. If you are researching all I can say is go for it! If I can do it, ANY ONE can! Still can’t believe I have - will post some pics I am 5” 4 9 stone 3 And 28 back Always go bigger. The sizers at consultation don’t impact on the true size! I had 270 and when tried on in consultation they looked ridiculous but now they are under the muscle they are just right So always go for the size that you think look a bit too big and I’d say your there! Happy to answer any questions Updated on 21 Oct 2018: Dropping now more each day Measure a 32 D which is amazing My goal was a C and a D scared me but wouldn’t want them any smaller, they are perfect! Still wearing the surgical bra and have gone back to Gym 3 times a week on bike, treadmill and isolated legs Still can’t do sit ups as feels strange so going to wait Updated on 31 Oct 2018: So it’s now been 6 weeks and I can really see the difference My breasts are forming more shape and have dropped a lot more! Going to go bra shopping today as sick of these sports bras! Nipples still a bit numb and boobs still feel quite firm but they will get softer as time goes on I’ve finally started to realise I’m glad I didn’t go bigger! I got boob greed a bit but now that’s subsided as they have changed a bit again Hoping to get a bit more under boob but apart from that, happy! Can’t wait to see how they look at 3 months as hear they will change even more. Here are some recent pics Updated on 14 Dec 2018: So after 3 months I just had my second check up and all perfect! I’m concerned as they are still quite firm but can jiggle if I move them about, nipples also still quite numb which was my biggest fear! He said it will come back but I’m feeling doubtful- either way I do not regret a thing! I love them and how I feel was so worth it! Here are some latest pics.......
Well its just over 8 months since Mr Prinsloo did an excellent job of a breast reduction for me....what can I say....at no point didl I feel nervous...after the initial consultation in May my surgery was booked for the 4th July...never looked back since, I'm over 60 and was worried I might not heal properly...everything is just as it should be even though he said it would be 1 year for it to be totally healed. I am so so glad I had this done - just wish I'd of done it years ago! No more heavy weight to contend with and no neck ache either...the man is a genius in his field and I would highly recommend him to anyone
I have had a face/neck lift and breast reduction. mr prinsloo made me feel very comfortable .i am very happy with the results . i would never consider going to any other surgeon.the service i receved at the nuffield in staffordshird as always been excellent.both for my self and derek .
I have wanyed a tummy tuck done for 10 years now and have never either financially or support for recovery so haven't been able too! But finally i have an amazing partner to help with the kiddies and also helped fund it! And the results so far are amazing we cant wait to see what the final results will be! Updated on 18 May 2016: Updated on 25 May 2016: Bandage is only to cover up whilst wearing my clothes (cleanliness worrier). Updated on 9 Jun 2016: Updated on 9 Jun 2016: Updated on 16 Jun 2016: So going to egypt later in the year and thought its about time i got over the fear of bikinis. So after dragging my husband around for 3 hours trying on at least 50 bikinis i bought one. Still scared that its too revealing for my body :/ Updated on 6 Jul 2016: Still swollen but happy :) Updated on 10 Jan 2017: So happy with my results still a little swelling but only slight. And finally after a Christmas holiday in the sun for the first time ever got a tanned tummy :)
Hi. Iv been reading lots of reviews on here and it's been very helpful. Little bit about myself, 30yrs old, 5ft 5 in, 120ibs. I have always been small chested, probably a small 32b, after breast feeding both children, i quickly shrunk to a 32 AA, leaving me feeling very self conscious and unhappy with my breasts. My pre op is wednesday (22/7) I am due surgery on 5th August with Dr Dan Prinsloo. I said id like my outcome to be a full C to be in proportion with my figure, he has suggested 240 or 270 under muscle. Has anyone any good questions I should ask the nurse at the pre op appointment please or anything I may need post surgery that helped them? Iv not had any surgery before so I have no idea what to expect. Updated on 22 Jul 2015: Hi, So I had my pre op assessment today, all went well. All paid and set up for surgery on 5th August. I asked the nurse about medication post op, and she said I will be fine with just paracetamol and that I do not need to sleep sitting up? I will check with consultant on the morning of the op. The consultant doesn't recommend ibuprofen, possibly give me cocodimol if I need it. Also said not to spend lots of money expensive sports bras. Local supermarket ones are fine. Roll on the 5th August. X Updated on 3 Aug 2015: So its less then 2 days away till surgery and I am strangely feeling relaxed about it? I feel I'm pretty organised and happy with the surgeon. Iv never been under anastetic before so only heard a few stories of what it's like. Iv full support from family which makes me feel more relieved. Some mixed reviews from close friends on why I need it done. ( hard for them to understand when they're big chested I guess) Updated on 6 Aug 2015: Hi all, so surgery went well, all the staff were great. Coming oit of surgery I was really ill, couldn't hold any food/drink down all day so they put me on a drip for a few hours which really helped. Surgeon went for 240cc silicone. I feel very happy, they are perfect size for my frame.. I'm just taking paracetamol for the pain & I seem to be doing ok with that. Just a tight feeling across top of chest. Kids are on there way home now so hopefully they will be gentle! Updated on 10 Aug 2015: Hi all, iv been recovering well thankfully. Iv slowly been dropping my dosage of paracetamol, only had some morning and night today. It was my first day on my own with my 2 and 4 year old, no matter how easy going you try and make your day you inevitably do to much and feel like iv pulled a muscle slightly in the centre of my chest. Iv been taking codine some nights to help get a comfortable sleep and I find ice packs help to soothe any swelling or hardness. My right breat has dropped slightly more then my left today, I don't know if iv been creeping sleeping on my side at night! I'm getting my big plasters off on wed when I see the consultant so hopefully incisions are healing well and he's happy. Just need to write down some questions on what I can and can't do and in what time frame. He says I can drive after a week which is wednesday, although not sure I'd be ready to drive myself half hr to the appointment. Hope everyone else is having a good experience! Updated on 10 Aug 2015: Updated on 10 Aug 2015: Updated on 12 Aug 2015: Hi all, had my 1 week check up today with consultant and had my plasters removed. He was pleased with result, no bruising and incisions have healed well. I must say my recovery this week has been much better then I expected thankfully! Can pretty much stretch my arms in all directions, just feel a stretching at times if i stretch out to long so im not over doing things. I no longer need to wear sports bra at night, able to have my first proper shower and drive! Looking forward to them 'dropping and fluffing' but I'm very happy with how they are so far! No more follow up appointments.
I always had small breasts. But when I had my second daughter I put loads of weight on! Most of that weight went to my belly and boobs. I went on weight watchers & did really well but was left with loose hanging skin. I looked in to getting a tt found this site & had it done oct 2012. I had br 2 weeks ago and I'm so happy I did it! They were cumbersome , loose , unsightly before. Now I love them. Updated on 27 Aug 2013: I've bought some silicone tape, but not sure about using it incase I get a reaction. Had a good nights sleep but still sore to sleep on my side. I'm wearing a cheap sports bra from asda day & night & it's really comfy. I've put a few pounds on so need to get motivated! Updated on 27 Aug 2013: Updated on 30 Aug 2013: Well haven't had a very good nights sleep I just want to sleep on my side but its still so sore. 4 days after my op I leaned on my right breast & it went really hard. Went to hospital & they said it was ok. Woke up this morning with lots of bruising & panicked . Went to the hospital again & they said don't worry there is good blood supply to the nipples. Anyway hope everyone is healing good . Updated on 30 Aug 2013: Updated on 18 Feb 2014: Well it's been 6 months since I had br & I could not be happier, all the worry was worth it x Updated on 18 Feb 2014: Updated on 23 Oct 2016:
I’ve thought on and off for years about having a BA and now approaching a major birthday I took the plunge and went for a consultation with Dan Prinsloo at Nuffield Newcastle Staffs. He was recommended to my by a very close friend and having read up on him, and his preference for a natural un - operated appearance, I made the appointment for 30th July, Mr Prinsloo was great, I explained the size I wanted to achieve and tried on sizers 240 and 270cc and let me tell you when you’re a AA cup even a 240cc looked huge. I spend a lot of time in the gym and therefore my chest muscles are very well developed and Mr Prinsloo explained that going under the muscle would help me to achieve the look and volume I wanted so I opted for the 270cc round Nagor Impleo implants. Fast forward from a second opinion I booked my surgery with Dan Prinsloo and here I am 10 hours post op Updated on 11 Sep 2018: Updated on 13 Sep 2018: So I was taking the antibiotics, paracetamol and codeine as prescribed by my surgeon and felt really ill. I couldn’t eat or drink and was vomiting really badly. So I ended up back in the hospital who were amazing. They gave me anti sickness tablets and kept me in overnight on a drip. My surgeon was lovely and came to see me advised to just take paracetamol for the pain, which incidentally today ( day 4 ) is minimal. I’ve got lots more movement though my arms especially the left side, I’m guessing the right side is more swollen as I’m right handed. No pics as there’s not much change but they are definitely feeling softer. Updated on 15 Sep 2018: So after an awful time midweek the Nuffield team were amazing, a night on a drip and some Metroclopramide I’m fine now. Mr Prinsloo took me off all the meds and I take paracetamol for the tightness I’m getting on the right boob. They are already feeling softer and I’m getting more and more movement back through my arms. Had a wash and blowdry today and I feel human again! So happy I went with the 270 I am firing into an M&S 32D bra - couldn’t resist trying one on so I think I will eventually be a 30/32C. Mr Prinsloo is amazing I really can’t recommend him enough. Updated on 16 Sep 2018: So sleeping on my back is driving me mad but that’s nothing compared to the bloating and fluid retention in my stomach and hips/thighs, my BF reckons I look like a Russian shot putter! Seriously huge but I’ve been through 4 bags of IV fluid and I guess is gotta go somewhere until my body sorts it out. I’m drinking loads of water and walking a mile yesterday & today to try to help that. Pain is ok feeling sore a lot on the right side and felt some bubbles on the left today. Weird walking in public I feel so vulnerable.. Lookswise they have definitely dropped slightly and physically they feel lower to touch. I’m eating additional protein and fruit taking the odd painkiller - more so because it’s killing my back sleeping on it! Check up tomorrow Updated on 21 Sep 2018: Wow what a journey the last 11 days have been so many highs and a couple of lows but I’m so pleased with the result so far. I’m actually getting used to sleeping on my back now and found that a warm hot water bottle under my lumbar spine provides great support. Had my one week P.O. appointment and my surgeon reckons I will be a large C when the healing is complete, I’m sooo glad I went with the 270. Dressings are off and my PS said I can sleep with just a soft top/tshirt on - heaven! Scars are looking good although on the right it looks slightly puckered? I don’t know, I can start to lightly massage my breasts and begin to treat the scars next week so I’ll see if it softens out. Boobs have started to drop and the upper pole has decreased but they seem to have gone quite full at the sides, my arm pits look like The Grand Canyon! Range of movement is about 80% now through my arms. Can’t wait to stop wearing sports compression bras in the day! Pain level 3/10 taking the odd paracetamol Feel so happy with them wish I’d done it 10 years ago Updated on 24 Sep 2018: I’m so happy so far with the newbies, pain level decreasing every day, I’m still getting the odd pain here and there odd one in my sternum and the right side of my right boob but it’s to be expected is early days still. Mostly my boobs have a feeling of being engorged like when I was breast feeding. They aren’t looking symmetrical but they never have been and I still wanted that natural look and was never after symmetry and I’m cool with that I can lie on my side comfortably after careful positioning and manipulating my boob although I’m still back sleeping which is doing my ‘ morning face ‘ the world of good! It’s still a struggle to use my arms to get off the floor, I painted my toe nails the other night and was stuck on the floor until they’d dried as I couldn’t use my arms to get up!! Tried on a couple of bras that I’d got pre breast feeding and wow they looked ace. Then couldn’t resist an M&S sizing today out of curiosity and I’m a 32 D although I know it’ll change. I’ve started light massage and scar treatment Overall I’m very very pleased and can’t recommend Dan Prinsloo enough. Updated on 8 Oct 2018: So, I’m still stiff but it’s getting better by the day, boobs still feel like they are really sunburnt and sore, my nipples are so sensitive the shower is a nightmare still. I’m hoping it doesn’t last too long it’s driving me crackers. Obtaining 5th gear is still a challenge in the car as I can feel the implant move but maybe when they drop that will stop? Overall I am delighted with the new shape of my body, I’ve been to Liverpool and Birmingham shopping and the choice is overwhelming, I can finally actually fit into women’s clothes and no longer have to buy age 9-10 so happy!! I’m still currently measuring in M&S a 32D and in Victoria’s Secrets a 32DD although I liked the 32D fit better. The upper pole of my boobs is still quite high but it’s early days I think ( hope ) they will drop lower, they are definitely softer and I can squish them together now. Still back sleeping and can lie on my side now for longer periods of time. I have an appointment with my surgeon on 30th October so I’ll be 7 weeks in at that point. I can’t recommend Dan Prinsloo enough he is wonderful and has changed my life. I’ll repost in a months time with an update, I really hope these posts are helping anyone reading them Updated on 5 Nov 2018: Had my 2 month check up with my surgeon and all is well. My boobs are feeling softer and I can do most things now ( including 5th gear ) although reverse is still proving a challenge! The mad sensitivity has virtually gone now but the underside of my boobs still feels numb - not sure if that will return or not? Gym wise my surgeon has cleared me to do anything I want to, however upward facing dog in Yoga still feels a bit odd. Treating my scars three times a day with bio oil and they are looking fine. Bra wise I’m still a 32D and I’m very happy with that. I can’t recommend Dan Prinsloo enough, from my initial appointment through surgery to now him and his team are wonderful Updated on 20 Jan 2019: So I still get the morning boob and I’m having a few zappy electric shock feelings so I went for a check up with my PS. All fine no problems just still dropping down. A light massage with some bio oil on my scars still and if I gently massage my breast it easies and aches and tightness. I’m doing push-ups in the gym although still avoiding full push ups as it feels like I’m wearing a tight heart rate monitor, bench press and chest fly I’m keeping to a lower weight too I’m really really happy with the results, I’m still a 32D in M&S and the size is perfect! I can’t wait to wear summer dresses, clothes shopping is so much easier now and more fun!
