I wouldn't worry about your 7 Month results too much. Unfortunately it can take up to 12 months sometimes even 15 months to have a full result. Between month 5-7 you should see some growth which i understand you have. Make sure to stay in contact with your physician through out the next few months to monitor the growth.

Minoxidil is the ONLY FDA-approved topical product that can help maintain & regrow hair. It is designed to reactivate your hair’s natural growth cycle by reinvigorating hair follicles that are miniaturizing due to male or female pattern hair loss. We typically recommend a foam product, like Rogaine, as it is easy-to-use and available without a prescription.
For optimal results, Hair By Robotics physicians recommend 5% Minoxidil be used. Minoxidil should be used twice a day, every day. Simply dispense a ½ capful of foam onto fingers, part your hair and apply to the area where your hair is thinning, and massage into the scalp to help revitalize follicles that are dormant and stimulate hair regrowth. Be sure to wash your hands after each use. Minoxidil can be applied to dry or towel-dried hair and you can follow with the styling product(s) of your choice. It can also be applied to colored or chemically-treated hair as early as day two after treatment.
It’s important to be patient when using Minoxidil. Due to the natural growth cycle of hair, it can take up to 4-6 months to begin to see results. Often the result is simply stopping hair loss, and you may not see any difference. As with any hair loss treatments, continued use is needed to maintain results. It is recommended that you maintain your prescribed regime to stop the progression of hair loss and/or receive any regrowth. If you stop treatment, your hair will gradually revert back to where it would have been had you never started. Contrary to belief, discontinuing use will not make you lose more hair. However, your hair loss may have progressed over your treatment time so it may appear worse than before you started treatment.Board Certified Phlebologist

Hello. I doubt the common sneezing at 24 hours post procedure would dislodge your grafts. The body acts as glue & the grafts are held into the scalp with the tiny blood scab. Everything should be fine

Thank you for posting your question. Every physician will tell you smoking is bad for your health. It also can effect the growth of your grafts. However @ 3 weeks post operative you haven't hurt anything. I do advise your do everything in your power to limit smoking as it does constrict the blood supply and of course the warnings posted on the label by the surgeon general should also be deterrent.

One of the biggest candidacy factors for transplant is realistic expectation. The other is supply and demand. The hairline placement may be achievable, however we can not achieve native density in one session. Transplanted hair will grow like native hair, provided the recipient sites are made correctly. I recommend you visit with a hair transplant specialist to determine what he or she feels realistically can be achieved.

I'm not sure how long your doctor asked you to refrain from sex and alcohol, but I encourage you to comply. Sex is simply for the cardio, we want to keep your heart rate down to ensure you keep all yo grafts. Alcohol thins your blood. We want to everything possible to minimize bleeding post procedure. Typically I encourage patients to avoid sex and alcohol for 48 hours.

be patient, I've had patients that haven't realized full results until nearly 18 months. The full result is often realized later when the hair doesn't shed immediately post op but begins to grow. The growth cycle can be pushed out a few months when the shedding doesn't occur. I recommend visiting with your doctor and reviewing the result. Also, remember that native density can not be realized with one treatment. You may desire a second procedure.

Mention RealSelf to redeem.
I had 1500 follicular transplants from my donor area to the crown of my head June 9, 2017. The staff of Hair By Robotics were honest, friendly, and , most importantly, attentive to my needs as a patient. They told me everything that would happen and what to expect in the coming months. I am now 5 months post operation and the results are really starting to show.
Wichita Location - Dr. Sylvia Do: Excellent experience with the artas procedure. I would highly recommend her and all of the Hair by Robotics staff. I was very impressed by the overall professonialism and attention to detail they provided before, during, and after the procedure!
First of all the entire staff with Hair By Robotics was fantastic during the entire process from initial consultation to follow up more than a year later. At age 30 I had thinning hair and almost complete hair loss on the crown of my head. In an industry where I spend all of my time in front of clients, it was affecting my self esteem in large meeting situations. Hair By Robotics had just opened up their office in Wichita and I was going to be one of their first patients. Needless to say there was a lot of hesitation/nerves leading up to the procedure. The procedure it self was easy and the recovery time...well, I was back in the office the next day! Now for the important stuff....Results!!!! 2 of my clients have gone and had the procedures after seeing my results and I will be getting a second procedure to complete the "transformation". For the first time since highschool I am comfortable not just having a buzz cut! What are you waiting for? If you are considering any kind of treatment I would suggest that Hair By Robotics be your first phone call...
From when you walk into the office to when you leave I can honestly say it was an amazing experience! From the initial overview, to the procedure, to the aftercare, they have a genuine concern that you are treated well and have the best experience possible. The only regret that I have is not doing it sooner!
I started loosing my hair in my early twenties and wasn't aware that there were options to keep or restore my hair. I knew about the old strip method but, online reviews about this procedure were Mai lt negative and I didn't want a scar across he back of my head. I read about something called "robotic FUE coming to KC", and decided to call. I schedule a consultation with HBR at the end of November and knew instantly that this procedure was a good option to getting my hair back. The procedure does not leave a scar in the back like the old strip procedure and there's very little down time. I transplanted 1476 grafts in the front and I'm very pleased with my results so far. I also got a prescription for Propecia to help me hold on to my hair in the back.
My experience with the new Artas hair transplant was outstanding. Absolutely pain free. From the consultation where we talked about expectations and results to the post procedure follow up, the staff was fantastic. It has been a bit shy of a year and my hair is fuller and thicker than ever. Would do it in a heart beat again. Thanks
I didn't notice my hair loss until my girlfriend casually pointed it out. After I did a little research, I talked to my doc and got a prescription for Finisteride to help stop my loss. I took the prescription for 6 months and noticed that my hair loss stopped, but I still wanted to add some more density through the top and in the corners where my hairline had receded. That's when I decided to meet with Dr. Barbieri. Let me start off saying, I knew 6 months before I did a procedure that I did not want a strip procedure. I read so many negative reviews and didn't want a scar. I'm only 28, and I enjoying buzzing my hair in the summer so I didn't want to lose that option. Once I learned that the Artas FUE was available in KC, I knew that was the best choice for me. I scheduled my procedure to coincide with a few days off work. The procedure was much easier than expected. I arrived at the office at 7 am, and talked with the Doctor and his team. They cut my hair as they needed to, and gave me an antibiotic and a Xanax to relax me. Then they numbed my scalp with a local anesthetic and the team and robot started working. I napped on and off for a couple of hours. After they finished taking out my new hair, they numbed the top and made recipient sites for the new hair. Then I watched Netflix while the team placed the new hair. It was a low key day I did 1000 grafts and am pleased with my result I am sharing my result because I want other guys to know there are options besides a strip procedure to get your hair back. Updated on 17 Nov 2016: There's been no follow up since my procedure. I'm very disappointed with this. Not once has Hair By Robotics or any of their employees checked on me. On top of that, when I cut my hair with a 1 guard, I can see the area where they took my grafts from. I would love someone to explain to me how this could happen with such a small procedure, but they have not even contacted me. I was aware that their could be a tiny scar, but I thought that the purpose of the Robot was to spread out the harvesting. They don't care about their patients, results, or hair transplant at all. Needless to say, if I ever have another hair transplant, it won't be from a company like Hair By Robotics.
My only complaint with the ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplant procedure is it was not around 13 years ago when I had 2 strip procedures for micro grafting. The strip surgery left me with a visible scar. The ARTAS system was incredible, easy and painless and I am extremely pleased with my result. I will be doing my second treatment soon. The cost is well worth it if you are concerned with your hair loss. Don't be like me and end up with a scar for life from strip surgical procedures. I
My experience with Dr. Craig Barbieri was nothing short of exceptional. The entire staff went above and beyond my expectations. I had a 2000 graft procedure completed in December 2015 and 7 months later the change is remarkable. I had a strip procedure done in 2007 in LA and was unsatisfied with the results. I never would have thought I could have had this operation done in KC with such a better outcome than on the west coast. I would advise anyone reading to NOT have the strip procedure done and pay the money for the ARTAS robotic transplant. It is money so well spent. Once again the team that will work on your procedure is second to none. They made me feel extremely comfortable and accommodated for my every need seems how it was roughly a 7-8 hour procedure. Dr. Barbieri is one of the nicest doctors I have ever been around and every time we meet for a follow up he treats you like family. Do yourself a favor and have your procedure done with him. You will not regret it.
I am 29 years old, I've been using Rogaine for 3 years. I haven't noticed any further hair loss since I began. I did my research and decided I wanted to improve my hairline. I also began Propecia in early June at Dr. B's suggestion. I transplanted 1400 grafts. I brought my hairline down in each corner. We also decided to put some grafts in the frontal area, to beef it up, should I lose any hair. It was long day. I got to the office around 7am and left around 5:30pm. Dr. Barbieri and the team were amazing. They talked me through every step of the process. It's only been about a week but the scabs are off. Although, I'm still a little pink, I can already see how my new hairline will look.
