I researched extensively to find the best plastic surgeon for a tummy tuck, focusing on the Indianapolis, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati markets. I even considered options in larger markets like Dallas and New York. After carefully selecting the top three plastic surgeons and then engaging in individual consultations, Dr. Z stood out as the clear top choice. The album Heidi, the office manager, shared was the proof and reassurance I needed--Seeing is believing. I also learned Dr. Z specializes in fixing botched works. Now, 10 months post-surgery and over 65 years old, I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Dr. Z addressed all of my concerns and answered every question I had with care and expertise. His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a successful outcome were truly impressive. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a tummy tuck or other cosmetic procedures!
Dr. Zochowkski’s medical team and staff are true professionals. I felt comfortable from the first consultation and well educated/prepared throughout the process. I was always able to have my questions answered in a timely manner, which helped tremendously with the anxiety of preparing for a major surgery. Dr. Z helped me make the best decisions based on what I wanted and I am thrilled with the results of my breast reduction. I am so happy I finally decided to do it. I can’t recommend him enough!
Hey friends, I have a surgery scheduled with Dr. Zochowski for June 11. I'm getting Lipo 360, Lipo on the inner thigh and knees, and revision on a surgery scar for another doctor. This is my third cosmetic surgery, but my first with this doctor. So far, I have only had my consultation which went amazingly. I spoke with Dr. Zochowski and his nurse Heidi. I'll describe my experience from the beginning. As soon as we walked into the building, it and the office were both impeccable and impressive. The interior design and style were so relaxing and stylish. The women at the front desk were all smiles and super friendly and helpful. We were taken back to the room and I finished filling out my paperwork as we waited for Dr. Zochowski. He came in and was so friendly, had such a calm presence, and was very knowledgeable and informative. I want to mention that I have gone to probably about eight consultations at this point and had accepted that most plastic surgeons have little to no bedside manner. Initially, I felt uncertain about that but after meeting a few of them, I realized maybe that's just what it takes to be a plastic surgeon. But doctor Zakowski proved that theory wrong. He was very personable and had a kind presence. It felt like our meeting lasted a whole hour and at some point I thought no wonder they take $100 fee, he really takes his time with you and it is worth every penny. he steps out about halfway through and instruct me to change into the robe so he can assess what parts I was concerned with. He was very reassuring and even commented positively on my tattoos, which made everything felt feel very lighthearted. He also called me a beautiful canvas, which made me feel good. at this point I'm feeling a lot less nervous and more optimistic about choosing him as my surgeon. After examining me, Heidi takes me to their photo room where they have a big fancy machine with a camera and a mat on the floor that indicates where you should place your feet so they can take pictures of you from different angles. Again, I have gone to many consultations and have gotten pictures taken from a few other surgeons and most of them do it by hand with a hand held camera so this felt very upscale and official. You would think that with such a beautiful building, office, equipment, furniture, etc., that his quote would be astronomically high. As we waited for the quote, my sister and I were practically holding our breaths and hoping that it wasn't too good to be true, but when he came back with the quote, it was actually less than some of the doctors I had previously visited with. Of course it is still a pretty penny but very very reasonable for what I'm getting. I wanted to ponder my options for a couple of days, but I was pretty sold after meeting with him and knew right away that he was who I wanted to book with. so I booked a couple days later when I got my loan approved. I am very excited, but also very nervous and anxious. My mind keeps going between being fueled by my anxious thoughts, thinking up the worst possible scenarios, and feeling so excited and elated that I have the opportunity to have this experience and that hopefully, one day in the near future, I will feel much more comfortable in my body. It really is a roller coaster of emotions and having a support system is so important. Anyways, it was good vibes all around. I will be posting some before pictures soon but for now I'll post some info pics. Can't wait to update you all! Also I forgot to mention, he projected possibly removing 6700cc and informed me that usually anything above 5000 required a hospital stay so I will be doing that if he ends up removing that much. It is an additional cost but actually also cheaper than what I expected so I'm okay with it. Updated on 13 May 2024: Love the natural curves and small waist Updated on 2 Aug 2024: Updated on 2 Aug 2024: My experience was phenomenal. After so many consults, I accepted that cosmetic surgeons were just awkward and I was not going to find someone who was going to make me feel comfortable, the way I wanted to feel. Dr. Z disproved all of it. His bedside manner is incomparable. He is so sweet and kind. He spent a whole hour with me and I never felt rushed. He is just an amazing doctor and person. So far I love the results. I can’t even believe them honestly. There was minimal pain post op and recovery went smoothly. I did a high volume liposuction 360 and inner and outer thighs plus inner knee. He took out roughly 8000cc which equaled 20lbs. Since it was high volume some blood loss was expected so my hemoglobin did drop but was never critical and again, was expected. I rested a lot and drank lots of fluids with electrolytes and ate foods high in iron plus iron pills. He kept me in the hospital overnight since it was high volume and I was grateful for that. I felt safe and the hospital staff was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be updating at the 6 month mark. Book with Dr. Z!
I recently had the pleasure of undergoing a mommy makeover procedure with Dr. Christopher Zochowski, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I walked into his office, Dr. Zochowski and his team provided nothing short of exceptional care, professionalism, and expertise. Dr. Zochowski's bedside manner is truly remarkable. From our initial consultation, he took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and desires, answering all of my questions with patience and empathy. He made me feel completely at ease, instilling a sense of trust and confidence in his abilities from the very start. When it came time for the surgery, Dr. Zochowski demonstrated unparalleled skill and precision. The results of my mommy makeover are phenomonal for post major weight loss. Not only did he achieve the aesthetic improvements I was hoping for, but he also ensured that the results looked natural and in harmony with my body. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Zochowski's staff was top-notch. From every interaction with his staff I have encounter, was friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring my comfort and well-being. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and supported at every stage of my journey. In the months following the surgery, Dr. Zochowski continued to provide excellent care and support during the recovery process. He was readily available to address any concerns or questions I had, always taking the time to provide thorough explanations and guidance. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dr. Christopher Zochowski and his team highly enough. If you're considering a mommy makeover or any other cosmetic procedure, look no further. I'm going to be honest, I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience. I'm a month post op now. His office in Gahanna is super nice, modern and clean. His head nurse, Megan, is an absolute angel. I came to Dr. Zochowski after losing 235 lbs. I had been obese since early childhood, and after almost dying at 29, I started taking my health seriously and, through diet and exercise and determination, I lost the weight over the span of 2 years. I knew at the start I would need skin removal surgery, given the fact I had been so big for decades. I started my research in winter 2022, as I got close to my goal weight. I had to kiss a few frogs, but found Dr. Zochowski and within meeting him for the consultation, I knew he would be the one to help me. He exudes warmth and excitement to transform his patients. His team did everything to try to get my insurance to play ball, but they wouldn't help. This isn't a problem of Dr. Zochowski and his team, they fought valiantly for months, but Cigna is a bunch of bastards. Regardless of coverage, I knew I wanted to work with Dr. Z, so I still moved forward. My full procedure was a lot: Abdominoplasty with Fleur de Lis, Belt lipectomy, breast lift, arm lift, monsplasty, and thigh lift. It was my decision to do them all in one. Because of my age and health, Dr. Z agreed to preform it, but he would usually split up the surgeries. I do not regret having them all, but it is a lot of healing, and I would not have been able to do this if I didn't work from home. The day of surgery was very early. It was performed in the hospital in New Albany off Smiths Mill, and, no lie, it is the fanciest hospital I have ever been admitted to. On the day of, I was super nervous and almost fainted a couple times while Dr. Zochowski was marking me up. He was so kind and patient and understanding of my emotions. The surgery itself went without a hitch. It was 11 hours long, and he fully transformed me, removing 30 lbs of skin. He doesn't like recording his surgeries, so there's no video, but he took a picture of all of the skin on the table. Every question I've had, his team has been able to answer. I was very concerned about my thighs about two weeks in, because they were very red and swollen, but it turns out I was moving too much and causing swelling and fluid build up. After bed rest it reduced. I complained about pain around my drain sites, and they immediately had a prescription in for lidocaine cream to reduce the pain. I've been seeing them at their office 2 times a week to check my progress, and after I heeded his word and stopped doing stuff, my healing is good and back on track. All these visits are included in the price of the surgery. He has also provided compression gear for free, and will offer scar lasering later down the line to help reduce the scars, also included. He said any minor corrections would also be preformed in office if needed along the healing process. He is nothing short of amazing and his team is incredible and has answered every dumb question I have had. So far, the only negatives I have are me at me, for moving so much in those first couple weeks because pain meds had me feeling like I could haul groceries up two flights of stairs lol. I will provide pictures further along my healing process.
First off Heidi the coordinator is so kind and easy to talk to. Dr Z is also very chill and also very kind. He’s an honest person from the jump. I had my surgery today 2/23/22 and I took anxiety meds and pain pills to get started. He numbed my back with shots and then from the inside with a cannula I believe. Couldn’t feel much. Next is the laser. Again couldn’t feel much. The next is the lipo. Semi painful but doctor z stopped and re number me and gave me a snack and orange juice. Last is another round of laser to tighten up the skin. Honestly the worst part is the fact that I get dizzy on meds and felt sick at the end. I can’t wait to see what I look like tomorrow!
Gosh, where do I begin? Dr. Zochowski is the best! I usually do not write reviews for anything, but this man deserves 100/5 stars! He did such an amazing job on my lower body lift! Better then I imagined. I’ve never had a flat tummy, until now & I am so much more confident already! Dr. Z is patient and never rushes you at your appointments, he’s honest with what to expect, he’s not pushy, & he does a dang good job! Everyone at the office is amazing! You really couldn’t ask for a better team! I am so glad I chose Dr. Zochowski! Updated on 22 Nov 2020: Wanted to add some pictures as I heal! Doing very well thus far, & both front and back scars cover nicely with the underwear :) Dr. Z puts the scars low, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to conceal them (unless you’re nakey of course)! Updated on 20 Dec 2020: I wanted to add an update with some pictures! I am still in awe at how wonderful of a job Dr. Z did! A good friend of mine had a breast reduction surgery in Nov '18 and she raved about how great her experience was with her surgeon and before then I had never given thought to a reduction. But I for sure needed one at 296lbs and a 44DD, my weight and breasts were heavy to carry and I knew my weight loss journey had to start with a reduction. So I scheduled a consultatation 'with her doctor, affectionately known as Dr. Z that followig February and my life has changed ever since. Dr. Z was attentative, patient and listened to my concerns. He knew exactly what my issues were the back pain and the digging of my bra strap. I told him the reduction was also a weight loss jump start as I had already begun a work out regime that was difficult due to my large creast size, he said surgery would change everything. I also knew that as my breast size changed, there would also be some uneven shapes to my mid-section because I had already lost 15lbs and asked the doctor if he could also perform back flank liposuction which he happily obliged for a fee of course but way less than what I thought it would be ($2K) So within weeks I had my surgery approval from my insurance company and set the date for June 6th 2019. I remember that day clearly, Dr.Z and his surgery staff were amazing and walked my mom through how to change my drains, after care, and recovery. Dr. Z also did an amazing job with my liposuction. He took 6lbs of fat from my back flanks and lower flanks which for my body shape (hourglass) has been great. Dr. Z and his staff were amazing and he truly cares about results and believes that the results speak to his great work as a surgeon and they truly do!! I am so glad I got the surgery and am upset that I hadn't done it sooner. As of today I am a 40B/42C and 40lbs lighter and my liposuction results were slow but have turned out amazing because it looks like my butt got bigger! Overall I am extremely pleased with my decision and even happier that I had such a great surgeon.
Okay first! I love this man! He was sooo nice, sweet, funny and caring when we first met. His office is so beautiful! (Not to mention his wife picked all the furniture and OH MY GOSH! So beautiful) He knew exactly what I wanted and how to help me! Fast forward to surgery day, he made me feel so comfortable and kept my husband update on everything. Even gave my best friend his personal number when I was having some medication and drainage issues at 10:30~11:00 at night. He is a dream and I recommend him HIGHLY. Thank you so much Dr Z!! Updated on 27 Aug 2020: Before and after and my drainage tube bulb Updated on 30 Aug 2020: Just some more pictures. Oh, and I guess an update! So my breast themselves I have minimal pain and ~~~ nipple sensation ~~~ Which I was so concerned about but Dr Z let me know even from the consultation that he doesn’t remove the nipple, so that wasn’t a big surprise! I think my scars are healing well the one in the middle in the initial picture Postop I don’t think that the scabbing was as thick. But ?????? it’s the healing process. What does suck are these drainage tubes. Like, The ports where they go into my body those hurt the most and the pain goes like random times of the day but it is often. Draining the bulbs isn’t difficult and that doesn’t cause me any type of pain. I’m not sure if it’s my body just healing where those incisions are and the ports just happen to be there so it’s healing around it, or some thing else. But I hate them so much and I can’t wait until they come out lol (Although I heard they’re also painful to get out but from what I felt I don’t believe they’re so deep inside my body that it won’t take long to come out) Other than that so happy I’m not having any back pain no shoulder pain things are just really nice. I can’t wait till I will be able to wear like bralettes and be able to start working out again and pick up my daughter or get hugs from her that would be very nice whenever I can get back to that! Anyhoo, the pictures! ( please don’t judge me for my nails this is one week postop and I’m going to get my nails done Tuesday) Updated on 31 Aug 2020: Saw Dr Zochowski today! Checked on the tetas and they are looking great! Took some stuff off and in 2 weeks my stitches come off!!! Anyway, here’s some pictures, I know that’s what you want anyway lol Updated on 10 Sep 2020: Hello everyone! Here are some photos from 2 weeks. Monday I go to get my stitches taken out! I’ll put a side by side of my breast before and now! Anyway, enjoy and I will update after the stitch removal :) Updated on 10 Sep 2020: My left breast is a bit more swollen and tender than the right in the photos. The left side was the one with the drainage issues but it feels alright. Just a bit more tender, swollen, and hard compared to the right side. Updated on 16 Sep 2020: Went in for a three week check up and get my stitches taken out! Here are some before and afters. I’ve also lost belly fat (not a part of my surgery) since the before picture was taken. My left breast is a bit more swollen and that’s the side that I have drainage issues on so you’ll see that in one of the photos but Dr Z said that it should work itself out. Have a great day everyone!
I tested positive for the Breast Cancer Gene. My Breast specialists guided me through my options. I chose Double Mastectomy with reconstruction. My Breast specialist referred me to a breast surgeon and a plastic surgeon. My plastic surgeon was/is Dr. Christopher Zochowski. He and his team of nurses and Surgeon assistant are amazing, friendly, down to earth and do excellent work. I am very impressed and so happy with my breast reconstruction. He exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend him and his team for this procedure. I drove an hour and one half each way to see him because I appreciated his expertise.
