Dr. Min is Absolutely Fantastic.

My breast augmentation was the first elective surgery I’ve ever had, so I was understandably nervous and cautious. I did extensive research and felt overwhelmed by the number of options available. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Min.

I went to multiple consultations, including $200 appointments in Beverly Hills and some referrals from friends. While I felt confident in the qualifications of all the doctors I met, I ultimately chose Dr. Min for several key reasons.

First, she was the only surgeon who personally took the time to answer all of my questions. Unlike other practices that pushed me onto a surgery coordinator for most surgery questions, Dr. Min handled everything herself. I completely understand that surgeons are busy, and I respect that their time is valuable, but breast augmentation is a major investment, and very nerve-wracking. I had a lot of questions, and Dr. Min never once made me feel like a burden. She reviewed all of the photos I brought in and even replied to my follow-up emails personally. While I’m sure many coordinators are knowledgeable, I appreciated being able to speak directly with the person performing the surgery.

Second, Dr. Min was refreshingly realistic and transparent about my expectations. I wanted larger implants that still looked very natural, which can be a challenge when starting with minimal breast tissue. She didn’t overpromise; instead, she took the time to walk me through the limitations and possibilities, and how we could achieve a result that looked great and suited my lifestyle. We reviewed various size profiles and how each would look on my frame.

Third, as someone who is very committed to exercise - especially Lagree Pilates - I was concerned about recovery time and how the surgery might affect my routine. I asked so many questions about this, and not once did Dr. Min seem impatient or dismissive. Her responses were thorough, practical, and reassuring.

Finally, while not a deciding factor, it was a major plus that her office is located in the San Gabriel Valley. I’m based in Glendale, and it was a huge convenience not to have to drive to Beverly Hills or the Westside every time I had an appointment. It made post-op visits much less stressful.

Recovery:
My recovery went incredibly smoothly. I was able to switch from prescription pain medication to Tylenol just two days after surgery, and stopped taking pain relievers entirely within a week. By the end of that first week, my body already felt like it had always looked this way - natural and just right. I’m now 11 weeks post-op, and I feel amazing. All my clothes still fit, but I feel so much more confident in them.

The entire experience - from consultation to follow-up - was easy, professional, and genuinely empowering. I would recommend Dr. Min without hesitation to anyone considering a breast augmentation.

Recovery Gear Recommendations:
I highly recommend the Marena FlexFit Medium Coverage bras - they were super comfortable and provided great support during the healing process. For pillows, I bought the 7” InteVision Foam Bed Wedge Pillow on Amazon, which helped keep me sleeping on my back (I was a lifelong stomach sleeper before surgery). I also picked up a bed rest support pillow, the kind that props you up while sitting in bed, and it made a big difference in staying comfortable, especially in the first few days post-op. Both were essential for a smooth recovery.
