I went in very recently for my consultation with the Doctor. The ladies at the front desk were really nice, especially Gaby (she deserves recognition), she was very nice, very informative, and made me feel comfortable. Doctor Buritica was also nice and listened to my concerns and what I wanted, also he gave his honest opinion about what I needed. He also mentioned that it’s important to start getting ready for surgery by exercising (for healthy blood flow throughout the body and heart), eating better, and drinking iron. (so far I'm very happy with this experience, I will be getting surgery in January 2022, lipo and J-plasma on the full abdomen and full back, armpit area, and arms).I will be posting before pictures soon and after surgery. And fully healed pictures too. I'm from Los Angeles, I found Dr. Buritica on Instagram, I really loved his work, I’m sharing my story and pictures because there aren’t much reviews. So here is my surgery journey.

I feel better about my back but It’s too soon to tell. I feel a little unsure about the the front of my body, I have this weird dent under my bellybutton (which the nurse said it was probably because of the faja that dug in and created that dent) I feel really sad about that and I wish I would have not gotten any skin cut. Even though he recommended it because he said the results would be better.
My shape feels weird at the moment, but I’m hoping it’s because of the swelling.
So I guess now I just have to wait 2-4 months to actually see the results.

At the moment All I feel is regret and heart break, now I actually miss my old body, I’m really trying to be optimistic but the reality slaps me in the face when I look in the mirror. I’m going to do everything possible to try improve it. I’ll be posting pictures along the way.

I got the stitches taken out about a month after surgery because no one reached out to me, I’m very disappointed because I should have been advised to get the stitches removed sooner (there was definitely a lack of communication). it was me that reached out because I was feeling pain and noticed wounds and skin are healing over the stitches.
So now I noticed I have stitches left. I’m going to schedule an appointment for a doctor in here in Los Ángeles to see if they can remove them. By the way this whole time it should have been the doctor who should have been in touch and aware of me his patient. $11,000 is a lot of money, I feel like I was just sent home to figure it out myself.
I know I’m still healing but I have such a lumpy stomach now, it just doesn’t feel right or look right. That’s what I get for not doing more research, I went by pictures I seen on instagram. Not real testimonials and what it looks like after surgery, the healing, the scaring, etc. Patients should really share their experiences.

Realized there are more stitches left, one of is causing me pain now and pus came out, all the rest I can feel them inside my skin. This is so frustrating, I can’t believe the lack of concern, this shouldn’t have happened, I will not go back for anything, so now I’m left to pay out of pocket to get my cuts reopened , get more scarring and get the stitches removed. This f sucks

One stitch came out today on my right side scar, I still have 2 buried under my skin. Really sucks to have to deal with this. I always feel regret but I’m learning to cope and just accept it but it really sucks because everything looks bumpy and uneven. Totally botched

Almost 4 months post op, I keep on hoping my stomach will look like the post op picture he posted of me on instagram but it’s far from it :( I’m still so bumpy and now the skin looks weird too. I see other women 2-3 months post op from other doctors (in actual videos, turning in different angles) and they look so nice, smooth, and defined, im over here getting worse, I used to have a smooth (kind of flat) stomach but now it’s a mess and I have these ugly scars on my bikini area
