2022 - here is my surgery journey

I went in very recently for my consultation with the Doctor. The ladies at the front desk were really nice, especially Gaby (she deserves recognition), she was very nice, very informative, and made me feel comfortable. Doctor Buritica was also nice and listened to my concerns and what I wanted, also he gave his honest opinion about what I needed.He also mentioned that it’s important to start getting ready for surgery by exercising (for healthy blood flow throughout the body and heart), eating better, and drinking iron. (so far I'm very happy with this experience, I will be getting surgery in January 2022, lipo and J-plasma on the full abdomen and full back, armpit area, and arms).I will be posting before pictures soon and after surgery. And fully healed pictures too. I'm from Los Angeles, I found Dr. Buritica on Instagram, I really loved his work, I’m sharing my story and pictures because there aren’t much reviews. So here is my surgery journey.

So far the experience has been good. The nurses kept in touch, gave me instructions to follow. Make sure to read your instructions 2 weeks before.

Some things I bought that are necessary for surgery:

Compression socks
Loose black pijamas
Slip on boot like slippers
Post op garment
Lipo Foam
Ponytail or clip for hair
-Antibacterial soap to wash your body before and after
-non stick gauze roll
Non stick pads
Adhesive tape
Ensure protein shakes
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Mouthwash
Doggy training pads to lay wear sit or lay because you will be leaking.
Iron
Pedialyte

I feel better about my back but It’s too soon to tell. I feel a little unsure about the the front of my body, I have this weird dent under my bellybutton (which the nurse said it was probably because of the faja that dug in and created that dent) I feel really sad about that and I wish I would have not gotten any skin cut. Even though he recommended it because he said the results would be better.

My shape feels weird at the moment, but I’m hoping it’s because of the swelling.

So I guess now I just have to wait 2-4 months to actually see the results.
