Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm seriously considering going with Dr. Brown too. Are you still happy with your results? Did you lose a lot of volume later on?

I probably wouldn’t recommend the fat transfer if you’re only planning to have it done one time. I was never “unhappy” but looking back at those photos my breasts did go down considerably. Now that I’ve had a child since then and breastfed they’ve obviously changed, with the lipo the fat doesn’t return to those areas so now I carry fat in my arms and upper back since I got lipo from my thighs and flank. Looking back, I was extra thin from the painkillers making me lose my appetite. I think it’s a great alternative for people who don’t want implants. I’ve considered doing it again but now that they have the awake version I would probably do that from fear of completely going under again as a mom. The biggest change is with lipo areas. Then the breasts added fat is like an added bonus but if the main goal is bigger breasts I probably wouldn’t recommend. Hope that’s helpful.

Extremely helpful! I’m worried about the same thing since I was told in my consult that I have good skin elasticity which means my breasts might not fit much fat. I also want to have kids in the next year or two. Do you think the increased fat led to more sagging after pregnancy? Do you wish you had waited until after kids? I really want to do it but am worried about damage to milk ducts or increasing sagging.

Thankfully I’m very happy overall with how my skin has snapped back into place post pregnancy, most likely genetics with my skin type, and I’m happy with how my boobs look after nursing. Lactation consultant told me that from the looks of it I had a damaged milk duct on one side but she was wrong and I had no problems nursing. I think they become a little bit bigger after nursing however, you do loose breast tissue after as well. I remember telling my plastic surgeon that as long as I have bigger boobs than I started with, and I’d be happy, and that was the case so I think I’ve had more confidence because of that. However, if you’re planning to have kids soon, then I would wait!

Also wondering how many CCs you had per side?

I can’t remember! And I can’t find it in any documentation. But they told me they got more fat from the lipo than they anticipated.

Almost 3 weeks post- op

Some updates: My bruising on my legs have subsided! Yay! Thankfully I only wear the compression pants about half of the time now. I still am sleeping on my back each night, Dr.Brown said I could sleep on my side but my thighs and hips are still a bit too sore to put that much pressure on them. I’m off my pain meds completely. I was cleared to go back to the gym as usual at my one week post op appointment. I’m not wearing any type of underwire bra so outfit choices are a bit challenging sometimes. (Probably choosing to do this procedure in fall / winter is a better timing choice). My scars are so tiny and healing well, though are a bit sore sometimes. I’ve been using mederma each day to help the healing process. I’m still really happy with my results !
